I just downloaded FH, but when i tried to run it Norton Antivirus came up with a message sayinh that the FH file was a risk and it had been removed!!! Which was extremely annoying as i had waited over an hour for it to download and was very excited to start playing >:(
My question is why would Norton say it was a risk and remove it unless it was actually dangerous?? Is it actually harmful to my computer or is it safe and Norton's just being stupid? Thing is i can't turn Nortan off while it's connected to the internet because my Dad would kill me!!! I don't know what to do :'(

your antivirus has a fake softwere virus and is telling you that. you need to get another softwere to remove it. like another antivirus. it has happend to me before to. -.-

Hmmm thank you cayla :) do you know what i can do to stop it? How did you fix it?
-
you can use advast antivirus and scan for the virus. that is what i use though. any other antivirus should be fine. also dont use the norton antivirus softwhere you have, it will spred the virus! after you scan the computor for the virus, scan your computor with spybot search and destroy.that will most likely find any other viruses affecting your computor. :3

Mcaffe work really good too

What Cayla mentioned should work well~ Avast gives you a free one month trial, and in my experience works pretty well. I used to have Norton, and it always gave me difficulties with stupid things like this xP

Thank you everyone!! Now to brake the news to my dad that our computer has a virus haha!

It also possibly does not have a virus. FH and Norton conflict all the time, Norton apparantly hates FH and gets rid of it for no good reason because it doesn't like it.
Also, Norton is a TERRIBLE antivirus. It does nothing at all really >.> McAfee And Avast are good I think, I use McAfee myself, but if I remember correctly it isn't free.

What happens is Norton is picky with any exe programs. It does it with most games, because it is made from a host that Norton doesn't know it is cautious. All u need to do is after it unistalls it, u go to ur quarantine and restore it, after awhile norton understands that any exe program u restore is ok, and will stop doing this for games. I have norton and ive gone through all of this. :)

this happened to me all you have to do is:
go into norton > go to tasks > go to settings > go to firewall > go to program rules > find FH and select ''allow''
this happens with norton alot(like with actual games).
it'll work now c:
