Title: Map maker crash

Every time  I enter in my png map file in map maker, the whole game crashes. I always place it under 'terrain height map' as well as always name it. I used to be able to do it on my old dinosaur computer without crashes, but I just recently purchased a laptop and got rid of the old computer, but for some reason it crashes and wont let me make maps even though it is new.

any advice?

The same thing happens to me!I hope to figure out why it does that.so if i do figure out, ill be sure to tell you.

If your heightmap crashes, make sure:
it's greyscale
513x513 OR 512x512
there are not any layers

If it still crashes, try switching to a .jpg.

If it still crashes, flatten the image and try again.

Thank you so much! It worked for me! I did not know to set the file to Grayscale, which was the cause of the crash. Again I thank you so much!
