Title: African grass terrain texture
Post by: Ippiki-Ookami on December 31, 2011, 03:37:09 am: Ok on every single map including my custom ones, other then Sky's Rim, their terrain texture is the african grass. I've seen a few others have the problem but there has yet to be a resolution. This issue actually started with the 1.11 patch for me I think and I have been hoping these latest patches would fix the issue, but they have not. On map maker as well when I want to choose a different terrain texture, it doesn't change on screen, it remains the default african grass. I miss seeing all of the different textures on my packs' maps D: please can anyone help? Much appreciated.

Is the computer you're using older? Do you have a low amount of RAM or an outdated Graphics Card?
That seems to be the problem on mine.

@ Galiou: On another related forum, Red did mention an update on graphics card, though my computer says it's up to date along with it's manufacturer site saying it's updated. My computer is a Windows Vista by the way if that info helps some and it was purchased in '06 I think.

My other computer has Windows XP and it's an '02 model, and I just updated the RAM to more than 1GB
It could be a RAM problem...<_< Also, Vista tends to suck lol

Just gonna have to live with the texture since I have no money to buy a better card or more RAM and like hell my folks will buy either one just so I can play an online game XP Thanks for the help though everyone.

It's not working anymore. CRAPCRAPCRAPCR---- *seizure*

Okay...I logged on again, the texture is working again but all my windows/(buttons) are flashing on and off. The last time I fixed that I changed my rendering system, and then the texture wonked out again.
Do you think this is a connection?

Just reinstalled FH entirely, after having deleted it before, and it won't work.

Anyone have a solution that worked?
