Title: Lost Character in Ficho Caverns [sorted]
Post by: FoxfangPitbull on December 31, 2011, 05:45:27 pm: I've lost my character, Lucius in Ficho Caverns. It refuses to load for both FH and FH+.
Anyone know what the heck is going on?

Apparently, Ficho Caverns isn't loadable and you can't even be sent back to the previous map ... or else, you'll get stuck with endless loading for both clients.

I'm guessing that the map is having issues in FH+. Trying to load again in FH will cause that game to load a map that does not even exist too since the servers used are the same.

Perhaps it would be better to avoid this from happening by making it that if a map fails to load, it'll send your character back to their previous map.

Or I could be wrong ... I don't know, it's bothersome. I had to recreate my locked characters.

Post by: FoxfangPitbull on December 31, 2011, 06:14:03 pm: Even on normal FH, it makes no effort to load, no effort at all. So, great. I have lost one of my best characters..brilliant. Plus my other flaming bug means I can't re-create him.

I switched back to regular FH recently, and all the characters I had in Ficho Caverns won't load. Usually, when there's a loading screen, and I can move my mouse around - I know that the loading has timed out. That's what happens when I try to go on these characters.

I'm so sick of making them I just gave up, and then I saw other people were having this problem. I REALLY hope if anything, that this is fixed soon. Till then I'm not feeding anymore characters into the cavern that I'll never get back xD

I mean, i read a journal somewhere (possibly dA) where the staff mentioned that FH+ is the new FH, and FH will be soon unavailable. we can only play on FH+ soon?
i hope its not true... for this reason.. we loose characters in FH+...

That can't be true, fh+ may have some cool stuff but it has allot of lags, induing this lag which we lose characters by going to ficho caverns. I know that fh will stay here forever.

As of right now, that's really the only way, unfortunately :( Or you could wait till the problem is sorted out, but I don't know how long that will take. Best solution right now is to refrain from FH+ until the problem is solved.
