I am experiencing problems with putting my Mesh into my map, I think I know kind of why, because I might be saving it as the wrong type of file. I have tried to make a map before this, but it didn't look good, but I put it onto Media Fire anyways. I gave it upi when I learnt about mesh's. But for some reason, my friend, who can usually download maps, couldn't download mine. Why is this happening? Please tell me everything you know about map-making.

All exported maps should be put into your exports folder as a .fhm file, not a .map file.

I didn't say I had problems downloading. I said my friend had problems downloading mine, even though she can normally download them. MY problem is that I cannot get mesh's onto maps
-
That's what I meant by saying it should be uploaded to mediafire as a .fhm file.
When you say you can't get meshes into you maps, what do you mean by that? Can you get them into your object maker? Do they appear in map maker, but not in-game?
I don't really have much to suggest being I don't know what your problem is, exactly..

What do you mean put into FeralHeart as a .fhm file? I tried that but it failed... I was forced to put it in as a .map file.
Wait... do you mean put the whole folder in??

Now of course this is asuming you have in fact EXPORTED your map, if you have not done this, then you must do it before you follow the next steps, you go about doing that by opening your map in the object maker, clicking export and then wait untill it has finished exporting.
Ok, in your exports folder, there should be a few file types.
.fho
.fhm
.fhs
Now, the .fho file, which is the file type, is exported objects, if you have NOT used custom meshes, and only those in game, you need not worry about them BUT, if you have, you need to gather those together.
The .fhm files are the exported maps. Containing heightmaps, textures and so on, these are the most important, you MUST have your maps fhm file in your download for it to have any chance of working.
Now the fhs file is for custom skies, if you have not made one, obviously it wont export one, so you needn't worry if there's not one there, the same goes for .fhw files.
Ok, now what you do is gather the .fhm file, and any other of the above you may think implies to you, you create a new folder on your desktop, save it as what you like, then place those meshes inside it.
What you do next, is right click, scroll down to send to, then click zipped file.
A file with a little zipper along its side should appear with the same name as the original file.
Now you upload it to a sharing site, such as mediafire or sendspace, it's up to you which one you use.
Now, you give the link to the download to the people you want to see it, instructing them to put all of the files inside the folder in exports.
Hope this has helped you.

I have just figured out what is/was wrong. I didn't, as you said, save it as .fhm. I have also just been able to put the mesh onto it. But :|, it keeps glitching/spazzing. It doesn't let me on the map itself. Any advice? I need it
-
Well you havnt really provided alot of information about your problem, what do you mean by glitching? Whats it doing? And when you say it dosnt let you on the map, what do you mean?
We need info if we're going to be able to try and help x3

By glitching, it was shaking around wildly and not letting me have control.
Good news though. THAT is sorted. But now it won't export properly.
