You stand alone in dense woods, the moon rises high over your head like a great watching eye. You feel the presence of others but none are to be seen, blood curtailing howled echo in your ears as you stand there shivering, you're being hunted.... you've heard of a demonic pack that searches for a cretin wolf, no one except the alpha of the demonic pack knows who this wolf is. SOme say that the wolf that is being hunted has a dark silvery coat and striking green eyes, one has a red flake in it, but the wolf's eyes only change to this when the alpha is near, it was this wolf that holds the power to give eternal life.

Name: Izah
Age: 4
Gender: Male
Pic/Description: A dark silvery pelt completely covers his form, even underbelly. It grows lighter or darker depending on the light, which helps him camouflage with his surroundings fairly well. His eyes are a blueish color with a tint of green in them and flecks of emerald. Only when the alpha of the pack that's chasing him is near do they shift completely to a bright, shocking emerald green color, with the red fleck in one of them.
His form is well built, not exactly a fighting form but strong enough with durable legs. He's more of speed then strength.
Crush/Mate: None
Others: Intelligent and crafty, though strength isn't his strong point, he makes up for it with speed and being able to locate weak points almost right off and even try turning strengths of his opponents against them. Because of this, he is also able to read emotions of others quite well and if something was out of place; suspicious.

Pic/Description: A very thin, long legged and lanky wolf. She has a black pelt with dark gray underfur. White is on her muzzle where it starts to fade back to black, and the same on all of her paws, only it fades back to black at about her shoulders. She has a brown nose and blank, light silver eyes.
Crush/Mate: N/A
Others:(Like enhanced site, agile,etc.) Extremely quiet, one would think she is mute until she actually speaks. Firm when she has to be, and bitter, she does not like socializing with others but can be loyal at times. Cera would not hesitate to give orders. She is also quite fast is skilled at spying, and when the situation calls for it, fighting, but more with dodging.

His paws flew through the area at a decent speed, hardly a twig or leaf disturbed. After years of having to be in hiding and running, stealth was something he had to master, along with covering his tracks and presence. Izah constantly had to be on the move, he couldn't be in one spot for too long, he was more like a ghost than a wolf.

Feeling the land rise, Izah quickened his pace. Arriving on top of a low outcrop of rock sticking out from the side of a hill, hidden and surrounded by trees, the male stopped and lowered his form nearer, keeping completely still. This affect allowed him to blend with the surroundings, and hopefully no one will spot him now and he can take a breather, and gather his bearings.

( it's in the evening just before sunset ending of winter with a small dusting of snow. And accepted)
A large figure sat perched on an outcrop, his amder eyes searching. The pelt of the wolf whipped in the chilled wind as it blew strongly against him, a slight shiver shook him. Zero growled low and harshly," Were can he be.... I've been searching for seasons and never found this wolf.... I'll find him soon." he growled. The Alphe turned away from the large and trotted to the rest of the pack, their eyes flashed in the low light of the setting sun, he search for one she-wolf, his beta. Zero spotted white specks in the low light," Cera come here I need to talk to you." he growled to the she-wolf then turned to go back into a sheltered area.

A silver wolf sprinted through the under growth her eyes trained on the rear of a fawn the had fallen be hind it's heard, his white eyes flashed with exciment and hunger. Elly pushed hard with her hind legs and tackled the fawn, it bleated for help and the silvery wolf bit down on it's neck, her month watered. Unknown to the wolf a doe had come to help, it's hooves came down on Elly, she released the fawn and yelped in surprise, the fawn got weakly up from were it stood only to stumble and fall. The doe back away from Elly as she snarled and bit down on it leg. As the Dow ran away the wolf turned back to the fawn, it bleated one last time as it died, and Elly smiled with satisfaction as she began to eat.

A sound of a bleat drew Izah's attention, his ears flicking and turning toward the noise. A faint scent of blood drifted to his nose, and his stomach growled hungrily. It had been awhile since he had eaten, and not knowing that the prey of the bleat was caught he started slinking onward.

Passing trees and bushes, pausing to take advantage of every shadow cast by the setting sun, he kept himself from making any noise, more so not to alert the attention of his hunters then the prey's own. The scent was growing stronger, and he knew something was off. Before he could place what and stop himself, the sight of a dead fawn and a wolf feasting upon the carcass reached his eyes.

THe she-wolf sat up on her rump licking her maw with delight, her stomach was full even though some of the fawn was still left. The silvery female shook out her fur as a gust of wind chilled her, "I can't wait until this season is over..." her voice was soft as smooth as she spoke, then she felt eyes rake across her back. Elly Shivered not just from the cold, she dared not turn to look and see who it was, C-C-Could that b-be One of the pack members... that look for this wolf I've heard so much about? without another though THe white eyes wolf walked slowly away expecting a figure to leap onto her back and kill her.

Cera lay on a rock cliff that protruded from a jagged hill, her head rested on her paws, when a voice grumbled to her. Her ears pricked and recognizing who it was, she sighed quietly and stood up, stretching her joints out and shaking her shaggy black pelt. Her paws where speckled a cream-white color that nearly blended in with the snow that sprinkled the ground. Cera cast one glance back at the barely setting sun before entering the alpha's shelter. She sat in front of him, an eyebrow raised in inquiry instead of asking him what it was that he needed to talk to her. The she wolf's blank, pupiless silver eyes stared at him, waiting for him to talk.

Cursing silently at himself, Izah quickly withdrew himself further into the undergrowth, watching the wolf. He had his full attention on keeping himself hidden while finding food that he had failed to consider there being another wolf ahead of him instead of behind. Keeping himself behind a bush, he saw that the wolf was finishing up the meal, unable to tell if it was male or female at this angle.

Good, they haven't spotted me, he thought with some relief, watching as the hunter was starting to walk away. He remained where he was until he thought they were out of sight, and carefully Izah walked forward through the bushes. The silvered male couldn't help himself, the food was too tempting and he was starving.

Stalking toward the prey, he kept stopping and scanning the surrounding area, sniffing at the air to make sure no one was hiding among the trees, but the blood distracted him. Now beside the carcass, Izah sniffed at it cautiously, then began to eat his fill.

Zero looked at her with burning amber eyes, "We need to find him... take some of the beset trackers and go looking for him." he growled. The alpha's mid was swirling with thoughts as he ran through he last saw this allusive wolf, "I'll Take another patrol... but if you find anything send me a messenger." h flicked his ears showing that the beta could leave now., his eyes grew distant and lost as he continued to think.

Elly had picked up the pace and looked behind her to where the fawn was, it was now a small dot in the distance, That's not one of the hunters.. that's just a normal wolf" she thought to herself as a figure approached the fawn. THe silvery she-wolf' eyes grew curious as he b-lined for the trees and slowly made her way back to were the fawn and the wolf was positioned.

Cera nodded silently but didn't leave right away. She studied her alpha's face, the distant and thoughtful look on his eyes. She the toll this must have taken on him, and pretty much everyone in the pack, and she hated it...Seeing them this way. Cera had meant to confront Zero about this, but for someone reason something held her back. Finally she gathered up whatever courage to speak up and said, "The time you search for eternal life can be used to live your own..." She muttered quietly, she usually didn't say anything unless it was absolutely necessary, but this time she felt like she had to. "Sometimes I do worry about you, Zero..."

The she-wolf slunk out of the shelter and gathered the head tracker, two other trackers, and a messenger. Cera lead the way into the woods with the head tracker ahead of her, the two trackers beside her and the messenger watching their backs. After a few minutes later the head tracker broke into a run, saying that he had scented something. Cera was by his side in a matter of seconds, the whole group of wolves pounding after them. They reached a small clearing and hid behind some think brush. Cera saw a flicker of light silvery fur and the scowl that was usually etched on her face deepened. She stood up and led them away with a flick of her tail, knowing that the wolf they were looking for did not have light fur, but a dark pelt.

At long last his hunger had finally settled. The fawn was a small meal and most of the meat was already gone, but it still satisfied the wolf's hunger. Raising his head, he contently licked his chops of the remaining blood, completely energized and ready to move out again. Maybe if he made good ground, he could even find a nice hiding spot and shelter where he could rest up for a little while...

Just then, Izah thought he heard a noise. Snapping his head toward the sound, he drew his form closer to the ground, as if getting ready to run for it. I've lingered too long, he thought, thinking it was the hunters. Eyes darting about, he released a low growl that rumbled in his chest, and called out, "Who's there?"

Sorry I've been busy so I haven't been able to post on a lot of rps D: EOC's have been killing me this week and I've had dance for like 4 hours for the past two days D:)
Elly shifted uneasily as she stood at the tree line, she felt searching eyes raking across her pelt. THe young wolf continued through the lush vegetation, her eyes locked onto a a dark silver-grey figure that stood over the fawn she had killed not to long ago. As the wolf growled Elly whined softly, "I-I-I'm someone friendly." she said quietly to the male.

Zero held back snapping at the she-wolf as she said she worried about him, Once I have my eternal life I can live it! There's nothing to worry about either! I'm fine! THe alpha's amber eyes blazed withe anger as he withheld his words and the she-wolf left. Zero got to his feet and padded out of the shelter, his eyes seemed to be their normal way, hard and unchanging, but inside he had the erg to lash out at any and every thing. The alpha called out to some of his wolves, their head shot up knowing in their eyes as they got to their feet the rest sat there watching them as they left.

Heavy paws battered the forest floor as Zero sprinted through the wood, he knew that the other search party was near so he turned in a different direction, THey can handle him without my help if they find him. the thought to himself as he sprinted on.

When a voice answered him, Izah's head snapped toward the direction, tail flicking behind him as he braced himself. However, processing the sound of the voice, it sounded... gentle, with no signs of a threat. Narrowing his eyes suspiciously, Izah relaxed his pose but only slightly, peering into the foliage.

He was able to vaguely identify who it was that spoke, the wolf he had seen earlier with the fawn. Now that he had a closer look at them and hear their voice, he was able to tell they were female. Now completely standing, Izah's eyes flicked over to the fawn at his feet and then back to the she wolf, expression becoming softer but still cautious.

"I'm sorry if I was intruding," he returned in a similar tone, taking a step back away from the carcass. "And for taking your meal."

When the wolf revealed herself, Izah began to relax. He didn't recognize her as one of the pack hunters, and she didn't seem to know who he is. At the comment, he gave a low rumble of a growl. "I wasn't frightened," he said firmly, standing straight. "Only cautious."

Scanning the area once again, he fidgeted a bit between paws. The longer he stayed here, the longer he felt uncomfortable. But it had been awhile since he had an interaction with another wolf, and a life of secrecy and being alone wasn't something for an animal meant to be in a pack.

"Elly... That's a nice name," he complimented, turning his gaze back at her. There was a moments pause as he hesitated to give out who he was, would it be safe? He supposed so, it was his pelt that held more meaning than his name. "I am Izah. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Cera had left the spot for only a few minutes one of the trackers took off again, in the same direction the glimpse of silver fur was going. Her tail flicked irritably, didn't she tell them that was the wrong way? The she-wolf followed them anyway, and the closer they got the sronger the familiar scent got. The small group reached a clearing and hid behind some tree's and brush. She peered at them from over the leaves, a light silver wolf and a dark silver wolf that unmistakably Izah.
"Send for Zero," She hissed in the messenger's ear. As the light pawed wolf zoomed away, one of the trackers warned her of being scented, she only batted a tail at them, knowing they were downwind.

Noting the female's reaction, Izah forced himself to relax for her comfort, though he still kept his senses alert. "I... should probably go.." he said reluctantly, barely above a whisper. He didn't want to leave, or seem rude, but this was no time for pleasantries. He was being chased and the last thing he wanted was for this innocent soul to get caught up in it.

"I apologize for the sudden departure," he added more clearly, taking a few steps toward the edge of the clearing. "But I believe it would be best for me to leave you now. I really did enjoy the talk, though."

The silvery female nodded slightly, she was sad to see him leave so quickly, not many wolves talked that much these days," It was nice talking to you too, have a safe journey." the female said her reply reluctantly, being alone was hard on her but she wouldn't bother Izah to stay. Elly sat down were she was, something wasn't right, the air seemed tense, her eyes were drawn back to the dark male. Was he the reason for this?

A small smirk crossed Cera's features, even as Izah reluctantly departed. She sent one tracker after him and turned to the other two sternly, whispering,
"Hold the female in place. He might come back for her if she is in danger."
The two male wolves looked uneasy, but the wicked gleam in her cold, grey eyes told them this was no time to argue. They slid out from behind the brush, one pouncing at the silvery wolf and the other standing behind her in case she planned to run for it. Cera watched for a moment, then bounded off to see Zero and the other wolves.
"Zero! I have one of the tracker's after him." She said, quickly wheeling around so she could lead him to the 'hostage',
"We haven't got him, but we have someone he's sure to come back for..."

It doesn't usually do that, so no worries, at least it added to my post count XD))

Izah gave a nod to the female, really hating to leave. Still, even as he began to walk forward the tension began to leave him and his pace quickened, rather relieved to be moving again. Pushing through the trees, his mind was so set on moving ahead that he did not notice the feeling in the air like Elly did, or the fact that someone was following him.

A yelp reached Izah's ears, and he stopped immediately in his tracks. Snapping his head around, he saw it came back from the clearing and knew it had to belong to Elly. Pulse racing, the silvered male turned sharply and bounded back, retracing his steps and bursting through the foliage. With a bound he landed back in the clearing, his eyes quickly taking in the situation.

The female was pinned to the ground, looking frightened and panicked. The very image set Izah's blood on fire, and he snarled at her captures. How could they do this to an innocent wolf? What right did they have?

"Let her go!" he growled, and though his lips were drawn back to reveal sharp ivories and his eyes gleamed like a blade, his voice was kept in control, though edged sharply with anger.

Gender: Female
Pic/Description: The majority of her coat is a dull coal colour, with lighter shades of her main pelt colour mixed through. Her belly is a dirty, pale white that fades off as at begins to climb her chest but continues its consistency as it runs up the underneath of her bushy tail. Her coat is dense and fluffy except for where her facial features sit. She has a white dot above each eye and each iris of her eyes are of a different colour. Her left is a pale brown with a hint of yellow, the other is an aqua kind of blue/green mix. Under her unusual orbs, a white rim outlines them, but only the bottom half. Running down her spine she has a black dorsal stripe which starts faded in between her ears and stops at the top of her dock. Her ears are slightly bigger than the average wolves and each ear has a black tip. Her nose, paw pads, nails, inside of her mouth and the inside of her ears are all a variation of a black/blue colour. She's smaller than your average female and has a very slim yet athletic frame. She's very delicate looking but she's also very agile and fast. Her back legs are noticeably longer than her front.

(sorry I took so long to post, couldn't think of a way to enter)

The black wolf walked silently through the darkened forest, moving through the shadows as though he belonged amongst them. Indeed the last light from the dying sun lent him the strange quality that is usually seen when a shadow is stalking it's owner. Only, it was not a master that this shade was hunting, but rather another of it's own kind, a wolf.
His ears perked slightly to the left as a faraway sound reached them, a yelp of pain. The wolf, named Sidon, quickened his pace in the direction the cry had come from. He didn't have much time...

The dark coated female trotted quickly through the thicket of trees until she came to a meadow like clearing. She slowed herself as she emerged from the darkness of the trees. A cold, chilling wind brushed passed her thick, dense coat as the trees no longer protected her from the harsh winter winds. Her nostrils flared, her nose twitched and she picked up many unfamiliar scents in the surround areas. She had a quick survey of her surrounds before padding through mid-lengthed grass.
She slowly made her way into the middle of the clearing, but stayed just on the borders of the trees. Her paws made not a sound for any other creature to hear. Chase's ears flicked back and forth as she kept an ear out for anything that could be near. Her jaws sat agape and she held her head low as her orbs still keenly scanned the seemingly empty clearing. She neared a small rock and gently sat onto her haunches before letting out a tiresome sigh.

Cera's ears drooped in submission at the alpha's harsh tone,
"I have someone after him if it makes you feel any better." She muttered, padding swiftly over to the male that was pinning the female. Cera signaled for the wolf to loosen his grip, small sympathy shining in her eyes for one moment. A few barks could be heard and the tracker she had sent to follow Izah returned, spluttering out that he was coming. Turning to Zero she nodded stepped behind him, allowing the alpha to get a better view of the target. The dark silver wolf emerged, demanding 'Elly's' release, and Cera held back a triumphant smirk, glancing over at Zero for his reaction, her mouth clamped shut.

Sidon finally came to the area where the yelp had originated and, having smelled the other wolves from far off, he dropped into the shadows so as not to be seen. He crept forward until he had a clear view and saw a male pinning a silvery white she-wolf to the ground. He almost growled aloud at this barbaric behaviour, but he kept himself in check and continued to observe as another two trotted into the clearing, one male, the other female, and finally his quarry appeared, demanding the release of the female being restrained. His eyes narrowed as the scene unfolded; his window of opportunity would be short and he would have to be quick to act on it when it came.

The she wolf positioned her head so she could see Izah slightly, relief and horror coursed through her body, Can he git rid of all these wolves? Elly questioned. The pressure on her body lightened and the white eyed wolf took in a lung full of air, her eyes were pleading as she continued to stare at the male, she hadn't noticed the other wolfs' approach.

"When we have him I'll fell better." he growled, he eyed the silver she wolf that laid pinned and snorted with disgust. At the sound of a bark Zero's ear twitched, he felt that the wolf had has been searching for was near, a look of satisfaction shown on his features as the grey wolf appeared. "Well Izah we meet again," the alpha chuckled darkly as he walked over to the male, his eyes weren't changing just yet, but they would soon, he knew already., "Surround him," he barked the order, and the wolves that were following him stalked over to the silvery male.

Instincts screamed for him to run, and his body wanted nothing better to do than to obey. But he simply couldn't, before he would of done so without a moments hesitation, but Elly was in their grasp and he couldn't stand the look she had. To top it off, it was his fault, the female had done nothing wrong and was innocent, yet she got dragged into this.

Tensing up his muscles, Izah felt his heart dropped in his stomach when he noticed the Alpha. He could almost feel the change begin in his eyes. Already the green was swallowing the blue, growing brighter and brighter as the alpha stepped near. It won't be long until the red fleck revealed itself.

"Let her go, Zero," Izah growled threateningly, though he knew it was pointless. He was outnumbered, and surrounded. "She had nothing to do with this, leave her be."

Chase's ears shot forwards as she picked up a wave of aggression coming from nearby. She squinted her eyes and stood up onto all fours. Her eyes shifted, trying to find the direction it was coming from- she wanted to investigate. She hadn't seen or had contact with any other wolves in a long while which heightened her curiosity all that bit more. 'Chase, it's more than likely that you're just gonna run into troub-' She quickly shook off the voice in her head, rolled her eyes and swiftly trotted back into the accumulation of trees. She moved at a quick pace, yet her presence was inaudible.
As the pack of wolves came into her sight she screwed her face up, trying to muse over what was going on without being detected. She shifted herself behind a large tree and surveyed the situation from afar.

I forgot to mention that off one kills Izah, they will have eternal life but there's a twist that I can't say yet. Izah is able to give eternal life to who ever he chooses, but depentng on his emotions, the outcome might be different. Just wanted to put that in.)

Zero's flashed, " your in no position to demand the release of another." the alpha's eyes changed slightly in the low light and a smirk crossed him maw, 'I truly is him.... The one I've been searching for.' the vivid green eyes of the gifted wolf showed Zero it was really him. The alpha stood about a leap away from his prey a smug look on his face, without warning Zero leaped at him, this him time he would have the power, leaving the broken body of Izah there to rot. < And the sun is just about the horizon, the top is about to sink below and night will come.>

(Sorry for doing a sucky-quick-jumpy-in post, it seems far too quick for her to come in contact with others but I wanted to do so quickly ^.^ )

Topaz slowly made her way through the green surroundings, almost begging for something to light up her day. Life had become dull after she had decided to leave her pack in search of something more, but all she had found so far was the bland empty flavor of being far too lonely than what is healthy. It was almost like someone had answered her silent wishes; shrill sounding cries and violent snarls suddenly filled the air and curiosity began to overwhelmed her. Though her mind told her this was going to end up badly, she legs still took her towards the sounds.

Ahead of her she heard the gentle paw-steps of a stranger that she was sure had the same idea as her, Topaz began to quicken her pace and began dashing towards the situation with far too much confidence than what was good for her. Soon the owner (Chase) of the paw-steps was in site, she was cleverly behind a tree watching the goings on from afar...

Cera looked piteously down on the frightened Elly, but she couldn't do anything right now. Not when freedom was so close that she could taste it. The beta's silver eyes flashed toward Zero and the pack as they closed in on Izah, a strange feeling welling inside her. Doing this to the innocent she-wolf gave Cera a horrible feeling that it had been her idea, the idea disgusted Zero even from the expression on his face. She took the opportunity though, right? Cera sighed and sat down, curling her tail around her paws with a faint frown on her face. Once Zero had what he wanted, she could leave and be done with this pack for good.Is it really worth risking this poor soul, though? She huffed and stood up, nudging the male that was restraining Elly roughly.
"Let her go. She's useless to us now." She explained as he sent her a curious look. He stepped off and Cera quickly replaced him,
"Interfere, we'll have your tail." Cera hissed firmly, "I'm sparing your soul. Now be gone!"
With one last threatening snarl she released Elly, her eyes now back on Zero. Cera flinched as the alpha threw himself at Izah and froze in place, eyes wide.

This was it, this was what he was waiting for. Izah drew himself into a crouch, bracing himself for the oncoming attack. Lips drawn back in a snarl, never before did he plan to fight the alpha male. Just then, at the corner of his eye, he saw the release of the female. This was his chance, he only needed to make an escape, and hopefully the confusion would lead them to only track him down. And, as a bonus, the lighting was on his side.

Staying in the position, he made to look as if he were going to strike back at Zero, when instead he was waiting. Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion to him, the sun's dimming light sending a gleam of his fur in a silver light. Then, when Zero was half way to him in midair, the sun sank behind the horizon sending everything in shadow. In unison, Izah dashed beneath Zero, the silver light cast by his fur gone and darkened with the light. It was like the male was merging with the shadow.

To those watching, it'd be like he simply vanished, when really the light cast by his fur before the sun sank would have hopefully blinded observers sight momentarily, where he then ran beneath Zero's pouncing form and running through the gap in the surrounding circle made by the wolves.

Izah didn't stop there, he continued running and slipped through the underbrush, his legs light and quick. He only hoped his plan worked, and that Elly had been able to slip away along with the confusion.

Zero braced for the landing, but it never came. He landed on the ruff grass of the clearing. The alpha cursed under his breah and turned and expected to see the green eyed wolf there glaring at him, but the figure didn't show," Were is he!" he growled and the wolf's amber eyes shown like a hungry blaze. Zero ran blindly into the forest(not in Izah's direction.) stealth didn't matter to him at this point; he only cared about getting his power, he deserved it!

Elly looked at the grey eyed she wolf her eyes frightened, "O-ok just let me go!" she pleaded. As she was released the silver she wolf glanced over as Izah, then ran as fast as her paws would carry her, she worried what would happen to Izah. Would they find him? Guilt fell heavy on her, it was her fault that he was captured and almost kill, she had to fined him and apologize.

Sidon raised an eyebrow as the silver wolf shot off into the forest, "Impressive," he thought aloud, "truly this one is skilled. Glad I am not the one hunting him." He slowly crawled away from the clearing, the shadows wrapping around him like a cloak. Once he was far enough away he stood up once more, deciding on his next course of action, when he realized something. "The female."He began sniffing the air around him, almost immediately catching the she-wolf's scent. He dashed off through the trees after her, she clearly knew the silvery male and might have useful information about him.

Izah ran and ran, only retraining his speed enough to not make so much noise. It was difficult, but he knew if he grew careless now it'd be over. As he ran, Izah strained his hearing behind him, expecting to see the anger-filled eyes of the alpha close behind and the sound of heavy paw prints. Neither came.

After awhile, the silver-male finally slowed up. Blood pumping, his tongue lolled out as he panted for breath, his eyes darting everywhere. There was no sign of another creature, dusk was casting its shadow upon the trees and sending the world into sleep. But Izah wanted to move on, to get as far away from there as possible, but his legs protested. He needed rest, just enough to catch his breath, then he'll move on again.

I hope she got away, the male wondered, he wanted to make sure she did, but if he veered away from his path now, he'll get caught. Lowering onto his haunches, Izah forced himself to take deep, even breaths. He pushed all thoughts of the female aside, for the idea that she didn't and was still in their grasp sent shivers through him along with guilt.

After the female had been released, everything seemed to go by in slow motion, Zero pouncing toward Izah and Izah in a defensive position. Her eyes widened in shock as the dark silver wolf sped right under the alpha, completely vanished for a moment. Her silver eyes searched frantically for Izah, but the only thing she could detect of him was the slight rustle of bushes as he disappeared. Looking back at Zero uneasily she saw that the alpha had gone charging through the bushes, leaving the pack bemused.
"Don't stand there with your mouth's agape! Find him!" Cera roared, sending the group of wolves into action. They dispersed quickly to search for Izah while the beta followed after Zero. The scowl on her face didn't show how outraged she was inside.
So close! Her lithe body and long legs travelled swiftly until they were right beside the alpha.
"Stop, Zero! We've lost him." Cera growled, though trying hard to supress it. She stepped in front of the male, a stern look on her face, "You aren't going to find him by bull-charging, now are you?" She said, teeth clenched, trying to calm the alpha down.

Zero let a low rumbled of a growl escaped him as the beta stood in his path, "Stand down!" he growl," I'm the alpha if you have forgotten," his eyes narrowed and the male's lip slid up to a snarl, "Do I need to put you in your place." he growed harshly at the female. Every fiber in Zero's body told him to lash out at the lower ranked wolf as she stood there.

Elly was paying heavily as she came to a stop, her senses were no use to her because of her fear. The silvery she wolf felt like she was being followed but she dismissed it," The female said she would spare me." the she wolf told herself as she stood the regaining her breath.

Alas, Cera's skills in 'comforting' or dealing with others in general are not very advanced. The larger male snarled at her to move aside, but she stood her ground. She closed her eyes for a second, trying to gain whatever composure she had left, chiding herself for acting so uncharacteristic... I usually don't yell much... I can't start acting starnge or.... The female opened her silver eyes again, her face serious but her stance less dominant, more neutral.
"No, I haven't forgotten," She said, lowering her tail, trying to choose her words carefully, which was hard for her considering Zero was so easily angered... "But you need to think rationally about this, calm down because you aren't going to find him by running in circles." Cera finished in a hushed voice, hoping that the Zero wouldn't be too peeved at the fact that she was disobeying him.

Jinny looked at her surroundings, noticing something odd about the trees. She heard caws of ravens, beconings of the loons, and tweets of bluebirds. All around her, she wondered, her yellow eyes staring, wonderless. She wanted to know something, something odd, if she could ever run. Just run away, from all her problems, all her troubles, everything.

Before she caught anymore of the convosation, suddenly the sound of paws hitting the forest floor caught the attention of her eyes. Not two far ahead of her a grey male dashed north, he was followed by a female, and the female by a second male. The copper coated female began to also join the line of running wolves, she simply had to know what was happening...

The young female kept her body low to the ground as she peered ahead of the commotion. Her eyes widened in amazement as she witnessed the silver male disappear into thin air. "Impossible!" she said aloud. She shot her ears back and lowered herself even further to the forrest floor realising she gave her position away. 'It's alright, Chase. They're more interested in the magic wolf more than you... Don't worry you're little head. Don't. Worry.' the voice in her head was condescending, patronising sometimes. As if she had a split personality, as if someone else only she would ever know about lived in her head. She curled her lip at the voice, forgetting to keep aware and alert of her surroundings. She was, after all, rather vulnerable.
She felt as though she could feel someone or something else's eyes on her. She felt uneasy being watched, not knowing what it was that could be watching her. Before she could fully turn her head another being flashed passed her at great speed. It had the scent of yet another wolf, female too. So she only assumed by her nose that that was what it was.

I should've kept running, now he is going to take me back! Elly thought as she looked over at the male, "Please, don't take me back there." the white eyed wolf pleaded.

Zero's muscles tensed, it was taking a lot for him not to launch himself at the female, " I'm not running in circle, I'm going the way I saw him leave!" Zero showed no sighs but he knew that his beta was right... but his pride as the alpha was holding him back from agreeing with her, so he stood his ground glaring at Cera.

Cera gave Zero a hard stare, knowing that his words were denial. Her words had not fazed him, so the female finally decided to back down. The beta slunk away silently, not looking back once not wanting to meet his intense gaze. After walking a short distance away the black wolf caught an unfamiliar scent of another female, her lip curled up in a silent threat. The slight crunch of snow was the only thng that gave her away. Cera's sharp eyes got a glimpse of auburn fur, she wheeled around, holding back an angry growl. I've hurt enough people today. She thought with remorse, shaking her head and stalking slowly to the other form(Topaz). Her gaze locked onto the wolf once they could fully see each other, and she stood there motionless, trying to keep a black face. Cera waited for the wolf to run, growl, do something, so that she could move on and find the other pack members...

The silence seemed more threatening to the dark silvered male than the sound of growls and howls. He almost begged for sound to let him know where everyone was, when he stopped he didn't know who was ahead or who was behind. It was driving him almost insane.

Keep calm, Izah scowled at himself, taking deep breaths to ease his nerves. You made it this far, don't loose your cool now. Closing his eyes, Izah kept his breathing even and listened. A second passed, then another, a total of five until he heard something.

Ears flicking, he gently shifted his muzzle to the right, straining his hearing as the noise became louder. Reopening his eyes, the male rose on all fours and carefully slunk beneath a few bushes, turning around so he could view the area clearly. When he was comfortable and well hidden, two wolves showed themselves.

Instantly Izah knew they were from the pack, not only because he recognized them but because of also how they were searching and listening. Both wolves paused in the area, splitting up and scanning the bushes and foliage for signs of tracks. One came very near his hiding spot, and Izah held his breath. The wolf paused and perked his ears, eyes narrowing slightly. Does he know I'm here? Izah felt his heartbeat quickening, and he braced himself.

"Hey," the hunter called to his partner, remaining where he was. "I think I-"

Before the sentence could be made, like a bullet Izah charged out of his hiding place and wrapped his fangs around the male's neck. A flash of guilt and disgust came across his eyes, but nonetheless he bit down on the windpipe, feeling the male go limp. His prey landing on the ground with a thud, Izah landed beside him and quickly shifted his gaze to the other. The second wolf had turned around in surprise, and at that moment the silvered male wasted no time in repeating the same thing to him.

Both wolves lay on the ground, and in the next second Izah dashed through the foliage. He desperately hoped the surprise attack made no noise to attract anyone's attention, but in case it did the male made a fake trail. Pausing some ways ahead, he retraced his steps about around halfway down, then slunk beneath another bush with a more secret trail. His legs longed to run, but he made himself trot this second path, showing less signs of travel as possible and making no noise.

As the male asked about Izah, Elly's eyes tensed, "W-why would you want to know about Him?" she questioned, he maybe after Izah too! A smell crossed Elly's nose, it was blood, WHo's blood could that be? she questioned.(-.-)

Topaz halted as the sound of movement met her ears. She sharply glanced around at her surrounding, to find a unknown female steadily come into view. To her surprise the she wolf did not snarl or react as badly as she had expected, she just continued to stand there as though she had been frozen, her eyes fixed on her. Topaz was unsure how to react to this, she had shown no display of violence, infact she had barely done anything at all...

The autumn coated female slowly raised her head and tail, not in an aggressive way as such, but enough to warn this wolf that if she was to attack her... Topaz would not go down with out a fight. "I wish to know what the situation before hand was about," The female stated, her voice calm but rather stern. Though Topaz was quite sure that she would give little or no information to her, she still asked her...After all...It was worth a try...

Cera's ear pricked as the other wolf shattered the silence. She regarded her for a second, keeping her head low at a defensive stance. It wouldn't really hurt to tell her, and she wasn't in a big hurry... But still, it might cause complications.

"Curiosity killed the cat." She huffed at last, grey eyes as cold as the air around them. "I don't suppose you know the tale about eternal life, but if your that interested..." Cera trailed off, taking a few steps away from the other form and perching on a rock that was dusted with snow. She still kept her distance, and her gaze was set on the the auburn wolf.

Her ears swiveled attentively at every sound the forest made, whether it was a leaf hitting the ground or the odd sound of thudding off in the distance. Two thuds, the sound stopped. I'll check it out later, She thought warily.

Cera held back a smirk at the other wolf's curiousity, unable to keep the smug look out of her eyes. Her tail curled around her cream white paws for warmth.

"Legend tells of a silvery wolf with striking green eyes. They say the alpha of a demonic pack is the only one who can reveal who the wolf is unless the wolf actually confesses..." She sighed, tail flicking nervously at revealing such information. Though, the best way to get away without a fight would be to humor the wolf until they could part ways...
"When Alpha is around, the wolf's eyes change." Cera was careful not be too specific, "If you kill the wolf, you get eternal life." She paused, closing her silver eyes. Maybe this bit would scare off the wolf?
"We are the pack hunting down the wolf, Izah. Our alpha is bent on getting this immortal life from him."

The coal black she-wolf shifted up the tree sharp-ish, disturbing snow from every branch she touched. Although she was a good climber, for a dog, she was no where near discrete. Perching herself on the first sturdy enough branch she sat and listened to the two females conversation. She craned her head and pointed her ears forward, intrigued by hearing 'eternal life'. She widened her eyes softly as she listened to the rest of the story.

An annoyed growl threatened to come out, Izah felt it rumble in his chest, but he held it back. Constantly he had to change direction, retrace his steps, go around members of the pack that was after him, and he was beginning to loose sense of direction. The pack had swarmed like flies, much quicker than he had expected. The silvered wolf was very grateful for the cover of night, at least his form blended in well with the shadows. If it weren't for that, he had no doubt he would of been caught ages ago.

Breaking cover from a bush, Izah ran swiftly to the other side of the glade, barely making it across before three more members of the demonic pack came running through. One of them hung back, glancing back and forth with perked ears, raising their muzzle to the air to take in the scents. Another moment or two they remained that way, then slowly turned to catch up to their comrades. Izah watched them go, then turned to continue his way out of the area and head towards freedom.

Sidon sniffed the air as well, 'Hmm, he handles himself quite well,' he thought then turned back to the female, "Rest assured, I do not wish to harm him. Quite the opposite in fact. That pack that threatened you, they are hunting him. I am trying to find and help him. Though now that I have seen him in action I am not sure he needs any assistance."

Topaz listened to the female carefully, her brown eyes narrowing at the mention of killing the "Immortal" wolf. "That is sick..." She hissed, pausing for a second whilst choosing her next words carefully. "Why would you want eternal life anyway? And why would you kill to gain it?" She said with a rather aggressive snarl. Topaz stood their in silence, though she hated the idea of this, she could not help but want to know more. The copper coated wolf slowly made her way towards the female, until there were mere inches apart, their eyes meeting. "Your alpha is insane," She whispered in a harsh tone; Topaz did not like the smugness this stranger held.

Elly listened in silence, his story seemed to comfort the white eyed she wolf. But it faded, those wolves were after Izah.... he needs people to help him, "O-ok I believe you... But how are we going to find and help Izah?" the she wolf questioned, "They could have him by now, or her could be long gone from here."

Th tonge of the alpha lolled out in a pant, Were could he be! I don't want to leave empty handed again. To many times me pack has questioned my rank. Unbenounced to him the alpha had been running in a large circle, his anger and blundered him from the reality of what was going on, Cera had been right. He failed again.

This is good... Izah's beating heart began to slow, the appearances of the hunting pack began to show less and less, he was getting further away at last. Still, he had to keep his guard up, one careless move and he'll be caught again.

The scent of two wolves drifted by his nostrils, and instantly he stopped. They were some paces away to the northeast of him, and he instantly recognized one of them. It was the scent of the female he met earlier, Elly, but she was with another...

Did she not escape? he thought in slight panic. No, he had to think straight. The second scent was unfamiliar and alien to him, there were no signs of blood mixed in like he normally scented from the demonic pack. Either he was someone else entirely, or a new recruit.

For a moment, Izah was struggling with himself. Last time he tried to assist the female, he had narrowly been caught himself, could he afford to take that risk again? But he couldn't just leave her to possible danger, how could he live with himself with the knowledge that an innocent life was spent because of him?

Finally with an agitated snarl (taking care to keep it silent) the silver male headed toward their direction. It didn't take long to pinpoint their location now that he had their scent, he could just see them between the trees. Keeping to the shadows, the female wasn't pinned like he had found her last time, but the male could still be planning on attacking her. Raising his muzzle slightly, he was satisfied to discover he was downwind, his scent will not betray his location. Ever so silently he stalked toward some bushes closer to the clearing, blending right behind them with a clear view of the two.

"You, badger wolf!" Izah spoke out in a clear voice, but somehow made it where it was everywhere instead of one location. It was a tactic he learned to throw off his pursuers, and it came in handy. "Who are you and what do you want with the she wolf? Are you friend or foe?"

((Hope that made sense, but basically Izah made it where his voice was all around instead of one area specifically, haha. However, since Sidon has really good senses of both smell and hearing, I don't mind him hearing where Izah is really at ^.^))

Lowering her brows, she concentrated, trying to make sense of the information she was absorbing. She didn't believe it. Not one word. How could it be possible? She shook her head, amused at the wolves stories. She decided she was done for the night, it was time to find a safe place to rest.
Inhaling, she prepared to make her way down the tree. She got up onto all fours, her claws clutched the branch. Her limbs were wobbly as she tried to swivel herself around. She was unsuccessful. She lost her footing and plummeted to the forrest floor but a forked branch grasped the black wolf by her right hind. She was mere inches from the floor.
She yelped and screamed as the tree grabbed her by the leg. Howling with pain and fright, Chase wriggled and squirmed in a bid to free herself.

Cera didn't budge as the she-wolf approached her, noses almost touching. Moving away would imply fear, and as much as Cera's instincts screamed at her to move away, she stayed on top of the rock.
"I wouldn't kill..." She said in a cold, matter-of-factly voice, "Alpha is the one who wishes for eternal life. And why he would want this life is beyond me."

Your alpha is insane.

Cera's claws scratched the surface of the boulder she perched on, unusual fury filled her at the simple statement. She bared her teeth in a silent snarl,
"Perhaps he is. Now that you know all this, I can't trust you not to interfere." She sighed, standing up and turning to leave, "That was a mistake on my part... But if you do, you'll be hunted down just the same as Izah."

A sharp howl broke the intense moment, an ash colored canine dangled from a tree, pain and fright in her expression. Cera raised an eyebrow. A spy..? She thought suspiciously, lunging at the wolf as if to tackle it to the ground. The black and white beta stood up, and with one last glance at the auburn she-wolf, Cera darted off through the trees.

Zero walked through the snow dusted woods, hie amber eyes filled with different emotions. At the contacted of each step the snow crunched under paw; The grey male's nose twitched as a familiar scent reached his nostrils, Cera he thought but another scent mingled with hers then voices reached his ears, "Your alpha is insane." the crisp voice of a female echoed in his ears a smirk parted his maw. Zero came to the edge of a clearing to see his beta on a rock and a she wolf standing nose to nose, his brow rose with interest on what Cera would say. It wasn't a shock to the male that the she wolf thought of him so, but he waited and listened. Zero stiffed as the cries of a wolf reached his ears, he restrained himself from going over to see what is was but by the looks of it Cera was already going. "Ha.. ha, I may be insane as my beta said," Zero chuckled lowly, "I have a reason to my madness, it doesn't need to be explained." the scarred wolf quickly moved to were the black and white female had once perched herself but he stood farther off, he wanted to see how would his wolf would react... maybe he would add this wolf to the ranks as well.

"I should be the one apologizing," the now blue eyes shifted over to the female, the greenish tint in them still bright than from before, but no longer completely green. "If you hadn't been caught being near me, they would of left you alone."

A males voice caused the autumn coated female to jump slightly. Had he been listing all that time? Topaz was not sure, but one thing she was sure of was that this male was a dangerous and sick minded alpha. "If you do not wish to explain why bother answering?" The female questioned, a rather challenging and smug tone to her voice. Only Topaz would dare speak to an alpha in such a way. She was far too confident for her own good. Zero ignore the female's first question but answered the other, "I want my rule to last," the male growled a power hungry look came across his face," I lead the strongest pack here, I'm the strongest alpha here," Zero's eye grew distant as he talked," My rule should last forever, and all I need is the wolf so I can do that, and maybe have someone by my side to help rule." the voice of the male had returned to normal as his eyes focused and the she wolf, his eyes suggesting who was the one he wanted with him.

Elly tilted her head slightly as the badger pelted wolf spoke to her. The white eyed wolf thought, her ear questioning," I think you should say what needs to be said." the silvery she wolf said finally, her voice was soft.

The males stare seemed to reach right into Topaz's soul. As though he was sending a message from his mind to hers. She stepped backwards as though his thoughts as just slammed into her careful mind. "Me?..." The female questioned aloud, her voice tiny and rather unstable. The copper coated wolf was unsure how to respond to his words, so she said nothing and remained stood their in silence as thoughts began to cloud her mind. Topaz did seek power and a true family, and he had that...and if he could give her that for even longer life, she would be more than happy. The females gaze fell to the floor, it looked as though she was frozen solid and was even holding her breath.

Was she going to play into his hands?

Cera barely stopped to mourn after she discovered the corpses of wolves from her pack, all having the scent of Izah lingering with them. She sighed, finally having given up the chase after following several fake trails and false scents. The she-wolf sat near the dead bodies, knowing that the remaining members would end up here sooner or later.

They did. Once all of the pack was accounted for she led them off to find Zero in hopes that he had calmed down and had stopped bull charging. Cera followed her alpha's scent, surprised to find it just where she had been a few moments ago. Had he listened to her spill the story about Izah? She silenced the pack and leaned into the bushes to listen.

Ear flicking, she raised an eyebrow at his choice of words directed at the auburn she-wolf.

..And maybe have someone by my side to help rule..."
"Me?..."

Silence. Cera's lips pulled back, showing sharp white fangs. Something had twinged in her chest just then, but she shook it off. The pack glanced nervously at eachother as the beta motioned for them to stay unless trouble were to start. The she-wolf emerged from the bushes, an scowl on her maw but she said nothing, as if someone had pressed mute and she could not say anything.It's probably not my place to say anything... Silver eyes stared cold, untrusting at both of the wolves.

The alpha compressed a dark chuckle, the male opened his maw to reply when he felt the cold stares of another wolf. Zero took a deep breath, the scent of his pack mingled with the crisp smell of snow, the male turn and looked to the tree line; the silvery eyes of his beta locked with his. " You've returned," he said smugly he glanced back at the wolf he was conversating with," Ive seen that you two have already met." Zero studied Cera's eyes something seemed harsh, he rarely saw her this cold a smirk crossed his maw.

Anxiety began to grow within Izah, his blue-green eyes glancing back and forth between the two. With years of secrecy, suspicion, and having to work on his own, the fact that they were speaking to one another like they had formed some sort of pact made him increasingly nervous.

Just calm down, he told himself sternly, fidgeting between paws. "Will someone please just tell me what's going on?" he interrupted, more edgy than he had meant it to be. The dark silvered male was becoming impatient, he had left most of the hunting pack behind but it could only be seconds until they regrouped and started tracking him down again.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Izah focused on the two once more. His gaze went toward Elly, and when he spoke it was more gentle, if strained. "If you can keep an eye on my eye color, I'd appreciate it. If the alpha of that demon pack is near, they'll start shifting back to an emerald green with a gold fleck on the right iris. It'll be a dead giveaway for him when he's near."

Filling her lungs with air, she tried to slow her breathing. Chase went limp in a bid to ease the pain. Her eyes frantically searched for something to aid her as her body ever so slightly swung from the tree. Before she could get the chance to exhale, a blow to the body forced out the air, winding her. She hit the ground hard and before she could pick herself up there was no one in sight. She hesitated before setting off in the direction the strangers scent went.

The look in the males eyes made Topaz uncomfortable; she waited there for his response in silence. None came. The female from before had returned, her eyes filled with jealousy and hatred. Topaz was unsure of what to do now, it seemed that the grey wolf didn't either, but a cold smirk grew on his jaws, causing her to narrow her brown eyes. Why would he do such a thing?

"Help me?" Izah repeated, skeptical. Eyes narrowed slightly in suspicion at the oddly furred male, very seldom did Izah have someone willing to lend him a hand. Was this some sort of trick? The silvered male glanced back and forth between the two, they already seemed to be on good terms, which somewhat eased his suspicion. Sidon didn't seem like a bad guy either, he was definitely much different than from the pack that was after him.

"My name is Izah," he finally replied. "I hope you'll forgive me for not trusting you right away, though if you really wish to help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. However, I've lingered here long enough, it's about time I leave before I'm discovered once more."

Silence ensued. The auburn fae said nothing else, a wicked smirk had appeared on Zero's maw. Cera shuffled uneasily.
"Yes...We've met..." She said shortly, "The pack has gathered. Prepared to go back when you are." The beta awaited the alpha's response, wondering if he was going to wait for this she-wolf to answer him. She supressed aching feel in her chest, thinking, Is he really going to ask her that? They barely know each other!" Her head dropped in her usual defensive stance, No...Zero wouldn't do that...Would he? This must be a trap.

She stopped her inner musings to glance at the unknown female, asking with a tinge of suspicion, "It would help to make yourself known before agreeing with anything, wolf."

It was a good question, where should he go? Izah never had a specific destination, just to get as far away from those who wished for his power as possible. Always on the run and hiding, the male never thought much about where to go, for what place could someone like him go to?

"Forward," he answered simply. "Though I have slowed down the hunting pack, I rather not take the chance of letting them discover where I'm really at. Zero, their leader, is a bit mad, but he's still crafty." The dark-silvered male began taking a few steps forward, heading in the direction of the other side of the glade. Before slipping through, he paused and glanced back to Sidon. "As I've said before, I'd greatly appreciate your help. Your skills seem impressive, so having you along may be a great asset. However, it'll only be fair to warn you if you slow me down or leave tracks behind to reveal our location (intentional or not) I will leave you behind."

Izah's eyes then shifted over to Elly. "And what about you?" he asked. "Where do you intend to go now?"

Izah was about to decline the female's offer, he didn't want her to be put in danger by following him, when Sidon spoke up. The badger-furred wolf had a point, if the hunting pack found her there was little chance of letting her go this time, and the wood was swarming with them. A twinge of guilt stabbed through him, but he knew what he had to do.

"Alright," Izah answered. "You can come with us. It won't be an easy journey, though, and we'll be in danger at all times. We have to be quick but discreet, and never sleep for too long. We have to travel as far as we can, if anywhere during the trip you both feel like setting out on your own, I won't stop you but I'd suggest getting as far away from the hunting pack as possible. If they see you with me they wouldn't allow you to slip on by them. Hopefully they'll be more focused on tracking me down then bother with you two."

Elly held her breath as she watched the dark silver wolf think, the female was thankful as Sidon spoke up. Her white eyes pleading as Elly watched Izah, the she wolf didnt know what she would do if left alone agian; the pack would most lilly find her and this time kill or torture her.

As Izah said she could come the female's tail swayed happily, "Thank you." she said softly, "I'll do my best not to get you caught.... If I fell like I'm slowing you two down, I'll try to stall the pack so you can continue on." the silvery female felt a fear surg through her at the thought meeting, but thinking that she was the cause of another loading their life frightened her more.

"No!" Izah's voice and demeanor changed drastically, voiced edged sharply and raised with anger. Lips were pulled back to reveal sharp ivories, eyes narrowed in Elly's direction. "That you must not do, either of you. Leave if you must, but don't face the pack for my sake, fight if your own lives are in danger but other then that stay out of it. This is mine alone to bear and I will not drag others down with me."

The anger dimmed from his eyes, tense shoulders relaxing (at least as much as they were before). He glanced at the two more calmly, then faced forward once more. "I carry enough weight as it is," his voice returned to their normal tone, though barely above a whisper. Without another word or glance he disappeared through the glade, continuing on with the never ending journey.

Topaz said nothing as the male introduced himself as Zero, though it was true she knew he was an alpha, hearing it from his own jaws sent shivers down her spine. She wanted such power, he was wrapping her around his finger with such ease it was unbelievable. I cant let him do that...I'm in control... The autumn coated female thought to herself, her expression suddenly changing from soft and confused to cold and angry. "My name is Topaz, I left my pack searching for a more interesting life than that there... So far I have found nothing better," She explained in a stern tone, her deep chestnut eyes fixed upon the strangers before her.

Topaz let out a snarl as her eyes flickered towards the beta female. "And I was not thinking about accepting any offers in such little time, thank you very much... Such an act would be foolish," She hissed loudly, her tail raising slightly.

Zero's ears pressed in to his head, his lip curled back into a snarl; the alpha's body tensed as the now named Topaz rejected his offer then snapped as his beta. "Then come with us, you'll find something interesting with my pack." his body still facing away from her, he also held back a remark about her snarling at Cera.

Elly shrunk away from the male her eyes wide, his tail tucked tightly between her legs, "I-I'm sorry." she whispered. The silvery female hesitated as she saw the male walk out of her sight, her paws wouldn't move; Elly just sat there finding the courage to move on. At last she move forward, her tail still between her legs, Elly didn't want to be left behind.

Cera's eyes widened by barely a fraction as Topaz turned toward her with a snarl. The beta's lips curled up but nothing came out, her silver eyes returning the cold look Topaz had.
"I wasn't suggesting you'd be that foolish.. In fact I agree with you completely." She said, leering at Zero then glancing back at the auburn she-wolf. "Shall we leave now?" Cera turned back to the brush, ready to slip through and head back once they were ready. A scowl was on her maw, clearly uncomfortable with the situation she was in right now. Not only was her alpha letting a stranger into the pack territory, he was... What was the word? Flirting with Topaz? The she-wolf snorted. Cera flicked her tail at Topaz in a way that meant Follow., slippe through the trees to meet with the rest of the pack, and waited for Topaz and Zero to follow and lead the way back.

Could it be possible...That she is the new alpha female...?

Topaz didn't know what to do. She didn't trust these wolves, she had only just met them and yet she was considering joining their pack and maybe even possibly leading them in the future. The idea to anyone else would have been crazy, but in her own mind such a situation was so wonderful it made her stomach squirm with excitement. Zero had so much power, and she was so power hungry; she wanted this life incredibly badly, and now it was right in front of her on a plate. She had to take it. The auburn coat found herself nodding absent mindingly, she paused in mid-nod, suddenly realizing what on earth she was agreeing to...

"There are no promises I will be staying for long though...I'm just trying this out..." She explained half heartedly, her dark brown eyes flickering from Zero to Cera before following behind the female. Topaz recoiled slightly as her eyes met that of many other wolves, she wondered how they would react to her sudden appearance...

A smug grim spread across his face, "Well... I think you'll like it white us." he said, the smug look on his face reflecting his voice. He watched as the female trotted away, Soon we'll, well I'll see who is stronger and deserves to have eternal life with me, Cera, or Topaz. "Cera Go ahead and lead them back I need to look just once more." the alpha leaped off the rock and walked past the tail end of the pack, he felt their eyes switch from Topaz to him, a mixture of confusion and shock.

Cera's sharp gaze made the pack avert their eyes away from Zero, Topaz, or her. She nodded at Zero, locked eyes with Topaz once more and went to the front of the pack.
"Let's go!" The beta barked and they went off in a sprint, Cera easily being the fastest with long legs and a lanky build. She glanced back at Topaz, slowing her pace down so the auburn wolf could hear her.
"You can call me Cera..." She growled, but an amused smirk started to form on her maw. "So the thought of eternal life isn't so bad anymore for you, huh?" Cera asked, tipping her head up to see the den site over the hill they were running up.

Chase slowed her sprint to a trot then gradually slowly began to stop as she neared a lone male, her attention was then averted to a moving pack of wolves not far from the male. She craned her head and watched, trying to muse over what was going on. She could sense tension in the air so stayed low and well back to examine the other canines. She was a nervous dog and didn't do too well with words resulting in her putting her foot, or paw, in this case, in her mouth the majority of the time.

Zero continued to pad along, he felt eyes raking across his pelt. At fist the male thought it was one of the pack members but he saw that they had turned away from him and were disappearing into the distance. The alpha took a deep breath, the scent of his pack and frost entered his nostril, he was up wind of whatever or whoever was watching him. He haulted and looked about him, he's growl rumbled deep in his chest. Zero's eyes flashed in the night and he looked about, his normal amber eyes were now a mixture of green and yellow; he looked for the exact same. The scarred male spoted the eyes shine of another wolf behind some shrubbery, Zero speed towards the wolf a snarl plastered on his face, he launched into the air awaiting the body of another wolf under him.

The coal coloured wolfs heart jolted, her orbs widened and her ears flattened against her dome as she watched the seemingly aggressive male bound towards and then leap at her. Before she knew it the small female felt paws slam into the front of her chest which threw her backwards resulting in her being pinned to the ground. Her body nervously shivered and her tail was firmly tucked between her hinds. She was hunched up but did not try to struggle, there was no point, he was stronger. She didn't know what to say, even if she did the words would only lodge in her throat. She withdrew eye contact with the stranger, turned her head slightly left and held her chin against her chest.

After a few moments of backing away from the pack shyly, Topaz decided that such an act would cause the others to view her as weak. So the autumn coated female lifted her head and proudly began to sprint towards the front of the pack with strange female. The fact that she was much faster and had better stamina that herself made Topaz swarm with jealousy but was glad when the beta female slowed her pace. Though Topaz was neither strong or quick, she was still great in battle, this was most likely due to her intelligence and quick thinking which often won her the fight.

"Well Cera, I don't seek eternal life nor do I want to lead this pack or to be coupled with your precious alpha," She snarled lightly, trying her best to keep her tone as calm as she could but was beginning to fail rather badly. Topaz knew she lieing, but she would not give in to someone like Cera, she was competition, and she was good competition too. "But you seem to have your eye on Zero...Don't you?" She asked, a snigger of laughter followed her words.

Cera leered at Topaz, her ears flicking in annoyance. The pack had reached the densite and they were now settling down for the night. The beta glanced back to see if Zero was in earshot, but she couldn't see him anywhere.The she-wolf turned back to Topaz,
"On Zero?" She asked incredulously, "Was it that obvious..." The last four words were barely audible, and she caught herself saying them and scolded herself inwardly. She can't know that!
"Of course not. I'm his beta, nothing more. Nothing less." Cera said firmly, shaking away the hurt that was brought after saying that. She turned her attention to the pack that was retreating into their dens.
"Lets get you a den to settle in... I'll let Zero no where you are when he gets back..." She said, bitterness slipping into her tone but not much. Cera padded to a empty rock den and sat in front of it.
"You can stay in here if you like." Her silver eyes stared absentmindedly off into the trees, as if searching for the alpha.

Zero growled with satisfaction as his paws met the body of the other wolf, his amber eyes gleamed withe the urge to kill, he hadn't gotten Izah but this would be an easy kill for him and it was satisfy his longing to kill. "You're noting but a weak dog!" he chuckled out loud, "I thought you were at least put up some kind of fight!" Zero wrapped his jaws around the neck of the she wolf, his teeth only pricking her skin. This wouldn't satisfy Zero, the she wolf wasn't even putting up a fight! A low growl rumbled in his throat as he toasted the smaller canine to the side like a peace of trash, "Why don't you even try to fight back? Not even a beg for mercy?" he growled stalking up to the female.

The she-wolf flinched as she was shunted aside. She rolled onto her side facing the large male but sill gave no eye contact. She paused for a moment, contemplating whether or not to get up. He clearly wasn't a friendly chap.
"I-I'm sorry ... " she stammered, her voice was soft and very quiet. She took a gulp as she slowly and awkwardly shuffled onto her haunches. She kept her head low and stared at her paws. She flicked her bushy tail so it curled around the thigh of her leg and she looked up at him. "I'm not a violent dog." she barked at him, slight remorse in her tone. "You can't go around just lookin' for pointless fights all the time ya know!" Chase lectured. She narrowed her eyes as they met the males amber orbs. Chase was young, naive and didn't comprehend how deadly the situation actually was that she was in. She lowered her brow and got onto all fours, "Now, good day, sir." she declared in a very condescending tone before proceeding past the stranger.

A smug smirk formed on Topaz's jaws are Cera denied such an idea. "Right..." She said sarcastically, her tail violently flicking back and forth, both brown eyes fixed upon the female ahead of her. Topaz decided that making Cera as jealous as possible would be a fun and amusing thing to do, but right now was not the time or place to do so. It was better to make friends than enemies first, she had learned this in the class room of life. "This will do just fine, thank you Cera," She said lightly, her tone more polite and gentle than before hand. The auburn she wolf slowly made her way inside the den, her eyes examing its walls and ground.

Cera raised an eyebrow at the change of tone but said nothing as the she-wolf slipped into the den. The black-white canine deicided that if the alpha wasn't back by midnight she'd send someone after him. If all else failed, she'd go after him herself. She smiled at the delicate snowflakes as they floated down from the pale sky. Cold weather was something she always liked seeing, it showed that the world was always changing. Everything was always changing...

Cera stood up and stuck her head into the den.
"You hungry?" She asked bluntly, and a bit awkwardly. It wasn't really her nature to be friendly, but Topaz was new and had not done anything wrong to her...Yet.... It wouldn't do any wrong to be a little nice, especially since the auburn wolf seemed to be in a better mood. The beta waited anxiously for an answer.

Chase let out an almighty scream as the back of her neck was latched onto. She still stood but because the male had her by the back of the neck her fore paws merely skimmed the floor. She arched her spine in a concaved manner and pushed off franticly with her hinds kicking the silver wolf in his chest every now and then. She turned her head over her left shoulder, then right, then left, trying to get at him. Her rows of ivories were bared and orbs wide with panic and terror. He was too strong, there was no way she was getting away. /shortshortshort/

The male wolf paused in his steps as he waited for the others, using the time to get his bearings and check the surroundings. No sound of approaching feet could be heard, the snow was smooth and clean beneath him and the moon was rising higher in the sky.

I think they've stopped the hunt... For now, he thought to himself, eyes cast upward. It was getting late and even his pursuers needed rest. Perhaps Izah and his new group with cover more ground, then once he felt satisfied with the distance and their location they could rest for the night as well.

A sudden death-like-shriek split the air, Izah's ears pinning themselves down against his skull and his head lowered with eyes shut and teeth gritted. The cry was mostly unexpected than painful, and the sudden thought of Zero crossed his mind. No doubt he had found another victim.

Curse him! the silvered male slammed a paw on the ground, body trembling slightly with rage. A part of him desperately wanted to run toward the scream and help the victim, but then he'd be leading himself right at his enemy's paws. For a moment he just stood there, struggling between the decisions to flee or save whoever it was that screamed. So far the idea of flight was winning, and he wanted the other two to hurry up and catch up so he could run as far and fast as he could away from that spot.

THe white eyed wolf stayed silent as the badger pelted male talked to her, she didn't want to speak anymore, everything she says seems to get her yelled at. With a sigh she trotted up to Izah and followed close behind no wanting to get left, she was about to apologize when a scream reached her ears, the sound made Elly jump. THe female stayed silent as she looked over at the dark silver male awaiting what ever.

Zero's grip tightened as she screamed then started fighting back, this was what he wanted; but she would have to wait. "Shut up you little runt, you' get your chance soon enough." his voice was muffled by the female's scruff.
THe alpha returned to the camp with the squirming she wolf in his jaws, his eyes scanned the wolves, they seemed confused by his actions... so was he. Zero really didn't know why he would bring a wimp like this into his pack, maybe she could be a training dummy(Not saying she is one) the cruel thoughts came to mind. Zero spotted Cera poking her head into a den, with a smile he trotted up to her, "I have something that came help the others train." the alpha said mischievously.

Cera's head jerked back from the den and turned to the sound of Zero's voice. She had barely even noticed his presence and chided in herself for not paying better attention to her surroundings. The beta examined the wolf- err, dog? that was trapped in his jaws. He seemed to have dragged it all the way here. Cera's ear flicked and her eyes widened in recognition, this was the dog that she had last seen dangling for a tree branch, she had gotten her down...
" She came here? That has 'great idea' written all over it." She stared at the struggling dog condescendingly, "You sure she'd last a minute with our wolves?"
In truth, she didn't mean to insult the canine, this was just her way of getting the dog out of trouble. A smooth voice entered her ears and she groaned inwardly.

The blue-black male padded up to the three canines, his crimson eyes curious and with a menacing glint in them. His sharp front claws scratched the snow underpaw, his ripped ear twitching in a friendly manner.

"I see we've got another she-wolf in camp." The white-striped male winked at Zero, "They sure are lining up for ya."
Cera growled, silver eyes glaring.
"He planning on using the mutt as a training dummy."
"Touchy..." Serpe sort of pouted, but quickly regained his cunning smile, "I'll take her to the fighters if you wish, alpha." You could tell he was up to something, but you would never know what with Serpe. Heck, maybe he wasn't even planning on bringing this stranger to fighters at all.

(Sorry for not posting too often, just been rather busy -.-)

Topaz began to paw at the snowy ground, sheerly out of boredom. "No thank you, I'm not hungry," She replied lightly, not paying much attention to her or anyone until Dusk returned with a rather cruel present. When Topaz's brown eyes laid on the struggling female in his jaws her heart jolted with fear. Oh god...No Zero...Don't make them kill her... The auburn female thought to herself, but dared not speak her thoughts aloud.

Cera's speech held a hint of worry, not allot, but just barely a sprinkle. Her voice made Topaz's ears twitch with shock and wonder. Was she protecting this female? No...not really protecting her, but trying keeping her out of trouble and preventing the pointless spillage of blood. Topaz returned to the females side, her eyes fixed upon hers holding a expression of respect and appreciation. But some how she knew that the alpha would not listen to Cera's words and continue with the killing anyway.

A sly voice caught Topaz's attention and her eyes discovered that the owner of the speech was a midnight blue coated wolf. He was rather dark looking, but seemed to be less of a danger and more of a nuisance. Surprisingly, his smug behavior amused the autumn female and she failed to hold back a smirk from forming on her jaws.

The coal coloured juvenile hung from the silver males jaws like a dead rabbit. She didn't even attempt to hold herself up anymore. Displeased at herself, she had eventually given up her struggle- not that it would've gotten her anywhere anyway. Her brows were down, hackles raised and teeth still bared as she examined over the rest of the wolves that gathered around her, giving them unpleasant glares as she did so. She voiced a disapproving and enraged growl as she listened to the wolves speak of her being used as a dummy. She wasn't a possession. He had no right to take her anywhere against her own will. Chase decided there and then, to be as uncooperative as possible. He wasn't the boss of her.

Serpe nodded respectively at the alpha and took the female gently in his jaws, slightly noting the relieved look on Cera's face, from what he didn't know. For now, his 'mission' was to escort the hostile canine to the fighters. Right...
He dragged her slowly to the center of camp, careful not to hurt her too much by lugging her around. The crimson-eyed wolf was many, many things, but he wasn't heartless. Honestly he felt a bit bad for the smaller canine, apparently destined to be killed off by Zero's words. Once he made sure Zero or any one of the like was out of earshot, he stopped near the healers den.

"I realize that you'd run the minute I let you go," He whispered around a mouthful of fur, "But you should realize that we'd hunt you down if you did, right?" After asking, Serpe examined the suspicious and confused glances he got from his packmates. Knowing that they were surrounded by wolves and if the hostage were to escape she'd be caught before even getting out of sight, he let go of her scruff. Keeping and eye on the canine as he entered the empty den (the healer was probably out somewhere), he shuffled the various herbs around and came out with some clamped in his jaws.
"So, what are you called?" Serpe asked, setting them down and beggining to check the fae for any wounds.

Cera watched the blue-black wolf go, then turned her silver gaze back to Zero. She glanced uneasily at Topaz, who had come out just as the alpha dragged the stranger into the camp. Yeah...She didn't need to see that...
"Zero, what exactly are you planning to do? That wolf didn't do anything to us," The beta tried to reason, but realizing her efforts would be in vain she shook her head as if waving her words away. "D'you find any sign of Izah?" She asked wearily.

Her two toned orbs analysed everything. She could feel the other pack members eyes on her as she was escorted to a dingy looking cave. There, at the entrance, the male released his grasp. He then proceeded into the cave, her eyes darted left, then right. Running away was so tempting. "So, what are you called?" the stranger asked.
A long sigh escaped her maw, "Does it matter what my name is?" Her voice was filled with bitterness, "I'm only gonna be killed anyway, I hardly think putting a name to a dead body really constitutes much, do you?" she vented. She peered her nose in the cave and watched him, awaiting his reply.

"Yes..." Izah answered reluctantly, his gaze shifting over to the direction the cry had come from. "But it would be pointless. She could already be dead for all we knew, and if I led us there we'd very likely be caught..."

Even as he said the words, Izah found himself walking toward the direction. He groaned inwardly and his mind told his legs to turn around but the stubborn things kept moving forward. "I- I'm going to at least investigate. If it seems impossible, than I'm leaving straight away, they'll hardly know I'm there. But you," he glanced back to Elly. "You can wait behind, if you like. It shouldn't take me long."

Topaz felt eyes wander to her and a uneasy feeling rolled in her stomach, but Cera's words made her even more uncomfterable. The female shifted her paws in a awkward mannor "Izah?" She questioned...even though she clearly knew who Izah was...

His ear twitched at the female's bitter response, "Would you prefer I call you 'Corpse' then?" Serpe asked slyly, but he was being serious. It wouldn't be any different anway, he usually gave nicknames to others either way. The blue-black male stepped up and craned his neck so he could see one of the bite marks on the fae's neck. Rubbing the herbs on the wound and quickly wrapping it in cobwebs, he met her mismatched eyes with his own.
"And whoever told you that today was your day to go?" Serpe snorted, an amused twinkle in his eyes, "Shoot, what did you think I was getting the herbs out for? I don't think you're gonna die today!" He chuckled and padded from the healer's den to the fighters den, ignoring the stares he got from his pack-mates. Turning back to the female he fell to his haunches and wrapped his tail around his front paws.
"Most everyone who comes into contact with this pack, or Zero would probably be killed or hunted down. I don't know if you know this, but there are already about two wolves that we're hunting down right now and I suspect that they may travelling together." The two were in a more secluded area in the den, no one could hear or see them talking here. "If you want another shot at living, I suggest you try to find them before we blow your guts out."

Chase drew the corner of her mouth back at that males response. She paused momentarily and mused over her entire situation. Maybe being un-compliant was not the best of ideas. The thought of being a prisoner made her irritable, but to survive I guess the smartest thing to do was be as compliant and obedient as possible. Chase wasn't stupid, she was just young, inexperienced.
A sigh escaped her maw, 'My name's Chase...', she divulged. She craned her head and perked her large ears forwards as her eyes met with his. "What's your name?" she asked, tilting her head and forcing herself to sound chirpy.
She restrained herself from any emotion as the blue pelted wolf took care of her wounds, even though she desperately wanted to at the very least whimper. But she didn't. She merely scrunched her eyes and wrinkled her snout. But not a sound passed her muzzle.
"I don't understand... Why do you guys go lookin' and hunting for fellow wolves? Surely you're not cannibals? There's plenty of prey here in these woods." bewilderment was clear in her expression, her tone was uneasy and shaky despite her best efforts to compose herself.

The she-wolf introduced herself as Chase, her voice had a forced chirpyness to it, but Serpe didn't comment.
"I'm Serpe, the guy that attacked you was Zero, and that beta was Cera. I'm not sure who that loner was..." He trailed off, then perked his ears at her questions. The blue wolf looked surprised for a fraction of a second before the smug smile replaced it.
"We use the term 'hunting' lightly. We aren't trying to eat anyone at all, it's their soul that we're after." Serpe explained, staring up at the rocky ceiling of the den, "Let's just say that this wolf we're after has the ability to make someone immortal." He looked at her again with red-slitted eyes.
"He has been running from us for a long time, and is quite good at it. That's why I think you have a good chance of living if you find him."

Zero shook his head, "I dont know quite yet... At this moment she's not going to be killed." the alphas ear twitched as he heared Topaz say Izahs name," Yes, Izah."he grunted in reply. Zero turned away from the others with a sigh, "No I didn't find him, I wouldnt have brought back that runt if I had found Izah."

Elly stood there in silence as she listened to the dark silver male. She under stood why he wanted to go, she nearly protested though." I'll wait here... But be careful." the white eyed female said softly.(fail fail fail!)

Izah gave a slight nod to Elly, "Alright, I'll be back as soon as possible. But if I don't return within a few hours, move on."

With that the silvered male disappeared through the underbrush, using every inch of his skill to remain as silent as possible. Like a shadow he moved, using his surroundings to aid him, from the moon's light to the snow. Instincts screamed for him to turn around and run, but his mind fought through it. Soon, he was at the very edge of their camp.

Heart pounding, Izah took a few deep breaths to calm his nerves, forcing himself to remain focus. There was a slight breeze, but fortunately it blew his scent away from the wolves beyond. Crouching low, he spied on the area, eyes searching for the captor (if she was still alive) and also keeping an eye out for Zero.

"Serpe? Serpe. Weir- Cool name!" she corrected herself, she had a habit of speaking before thinking but sometimes she was lucky enough to emend herself. She raised a brow as this talk of 'immortalisation' came up which brought her attention back to the conversation she overheard the two females exchange about this very subject. Her train of thought was then disrupted by Serpe. She titled her head then straightened herself back up before checking her surroundings and hesitantly entering the cave. "What if somebody else finds him before me? Or what if I don't wanna help? Poor wolf hasn't done anything, no wolf deserves to be hunted down like a crappy piece of meat. Actually, anyone involved in such nonsense and... and brutality should sooner be hunted down and killed." her tone got more aggressive as she neared the end of her rant and she got all up in Serpes face. This wolf was short-fused, which didn't bode well for her in most situations. Especially this one, besides, this guy appeared to be decent. To be trying to help her. But when Chase got started, she struggled to stop. She was merely inches from his face, her nose pointed to the ground and looking him straight in the eye. Once she realised what she was doing, she backed off, sat onto her haunches, drooped her neck in a sulky manner. and fixated her eyes on the cave floor. She took in a large breath and held it momentarily before slowly and gradually exhaling.

Cera's ear twitched as Zero mentioned that the 'runt' he brought back was not to be killed...Yet. She sighed inwardly and stood up. "Alright then..." The beta turned back to Topaz, then to Zero with a strained look on her face. "I'll let you two.. Talk now..."

The midnight wolf simply sat there while the female got up in his space, ranting about how wrong it was to hunt Izah. His gaze locked onto her mismatched eyes and he had deduced this much just by staring into them: The wolf had a short fuse. Nothing he'd never seen before, Serpe tended to hang around the more easily angered wolves anyway. When Chase fell to her haunches sulking, he felt it was the right time to speak.
"First of all, trust me no one will find him before you." He began calmly, "And I think you misunderstood me. If you find him and travel with him, rather than killing him for eternal life, I think you'll have a better chance at winning. I believe someone else is already travelling with him." Taking a deep breath, he met her gaze evenly.
"Second, you may believe what you like about hunting the wolf down being nonsense. But to us it makes perfect sense. Who wouldn't like the thought of living forever?" Serpe sighed and stood up, padding out of the den. He flicked his tail in a gesture for her to follow. Wandering to the den exit, where the pack could still see them but only as figures in the distance, he glanced back at the fae.
"So, what do you think? Going to give it a try, at least?"

A dappled figure shot out after a rabbit. The timber she-wolf leaped for it, and barely missed. Eternity panted, exhausted, but still went in pursuit of the tasty prey. (Sorry for shortness, I had to ideas. xD)

Chase screwed her muzzle up and lowered her brows as she craned her head to looks at Serpe. She failed to understand... "So, I don't gotta try kill him?" she asked flicking her ears forwards and slitting her eyes in a very confused manner. She slowly got up onto all fours as Serpe began to leave the cave. 'What's he up to...?' she reflected to herself. Her body language and mannerisms were still very much displaying all the signs of an uneasy and tense wolf. Serpe then gestured for her to follow. So again, reluctantly, she did. "I dunno... I guess I don't have much choice in the matter." Chase grumbled, like a stroppy teenager being asked to do chores. <FAIL/>

The Scarred wolf shook his head, "We need to rest, it been a long night I have a lot to sleep on." Zero walked over to his den knowing that he might not sleep this night, there was soo much to plan. What are they going to do next? Track him down? Dispite the chill in the air the alpha sat down out side of his den looking out over the visible landscape, a thoughtful expedition was fixed on his features. What to do?

Easy, Izah... The silvered male coaxed himself to relax. But it was difficult to do, he was on the very edge of his enemies territory; one mistake, even the tiniest one, would be his downfall. What am I even doing here? he thought to himself irritably, but his eyes continued scanning the crowd. A few times he had to change location when the pack patrols came to near, popping up in a different spot entirely. At least he was able to get a better view of the place each time, but still he had trouble pin-pointing the captive.

Ears perking forward, Izah rose his head as two more wolves showed up by a den entrance. Their figures were barely outlined, though the silvered male could find nothing else. Slinking back into the underbrush, he began making a wide berth around the area. When he thought he was close enough, Izah cautiously poked his head out again. He could see the figures more clearly now, a bluish male wolf beside a female. Instantly he knew the captive had to be her, she stuck out like a sour thumb compared to the surrounding wolves.

Well, I found her, Izah thought. But now how can I get her away? And would she even come with me?

Unknown to him, his eyes were already shifting back to their shocking emerald green color. He wouldn't be surprised, though he was unsure if the Alpha was present here at all or still out in the wood searching for him.

Topaz's stomach rolled with uncertainty as the Alpha and Beta spoke about the "gifted" male named Izah. She dident say nothing, just kept flickering her golden brown eyes between the wolves before her. She was begging herself to snarl, but she knew allowing herself to do so could cost her dearly, weather that to be in blood or insults she did not know. "Why do you wish for eternal life anyway Zero?" She questioned, smoothing her voice out to a silk like tone. Topaz's eyes met that of Cera's, remebering that she also did not understand why he had such a need.

As Serpe stopped near the entrance he turned back to the tensed fae.
"Hey, it really is up to you. I'm not stoppin' ya, so whether or not you want to meet death is your choice..." The black-blue wolf's eyes flickered around the clearing, his ears swivelling every so often. Most of the pack would be sleeping now, Zero probably wouldn't come back out hunt again. The only wolf to worry about was Cera, he remembered that the beta had volunteered to do night patrols. Brought of his thoughts by a shine of emerald green, he tried not to look too surprised. Serpe knew exactly what that color was... So he has come... Now how am I supposed to make it look like I'm not simply letting her go...? He brought his muzzle to the still night air and breathed in, detecting a faint, unfamiliar scent. Perfect, an aversion and an excuse, believable as well... I could make it look as if I'm after and intruder. After the plan had clicked into place in his head, Serpe made his body go tense, ears and tail erect as if be had sensed another unwanted presence.
"Intruder!" He barked before darting off, leaving Chase in the dust to possibly be found by Izah.

After a few minutes of running, it was safe to say that he was out of earshot. Looking around for the so called intruder, he noticed a slight rustle in the bushes as a rabbit hopped out. Raising an eyebrow, he crouched, about to pounce at it (or whatever was chasing it.)

(Case you not know, the 'intruder' and the rabbit Serpe noticed were Eternity and the prey she was after ^^.))

Chase stiffly jumped in the air as Serpes sudden actions startled her. Her mismatched orbs were wide with alarm as she watched the blue male dart off for, what she understood to be from the situation, an intruder. "Wh- Ser- EH?" she stuttered, failing to utter a single word. She didn't know what to say nor did she know what to do. She was simply just left standing, unattended, unwatched. She flicked an ear out to the side like a wing of an aeroplane whilst the other stood pert on top of her dome. One brow lowered and the other raised, she stood, looking bewildered.

I need a diversion... Izah thought to himself. He had remained in the same spot for who knew how long, plans and ideas running through his head as he tried selecting the best one that would prevent endangering either of them. But each one seemed useless or too risky, he had no idea what he could do that could possibly get them both out of there safe and sound. Fortunately, it seemed fate was on his side.

Before he knew it, the male that he supposed was guarding the "prisoner" had darted off, shouting out that there was an intruder in the area. For a quick second Izah thought the male meant him and he had caught sight of the dark silvered wolf, but it was not so. The blueish male ran on off to the distance, others following in close pursuit to assist the wolf. The female was left unattended to, looking as bewildered as Izah felt, if not more so. Here was his chance.

Without wasting another second, Izah quickly darted out from the bush and came up right beside the female. "You," his voice was just below a whisper but he spoke clearly and with urgency. "If you wish to get out of here alive, follow me. They'll be back here in any second. We must be swift."

He gestured toward the underbrush and began heading back that way, looking back at the female all the while to see if she understood and if she'd come along with him. Izah also kept a look out for both the beta and alpha of the pack, increasingly growing anxious as the time ticked away. The male kept expecting either of them to pop out of no where, especially Zero. They needed to hurry.

Serpe smirked at the dappled female as she crashed through the brush, and immediately after noticing him asked if the prey was his. The male stood up and glanced over his shoulder, his pack mates had come to aid him. The four of them were now slowly surrounding the intruder.
"No, it's not mine." He began, his voice smooth and he advanced toward her. "But this territory is."
His slitted ruby eyes slid over to where the rabbit had hopped off through the bushes. Serpe barked at one of the wolves to fetch the beta, or even Zero. Turning back to the female he growled in an attempt to look menacing.
"What business do you have stealing our food and stepping upon our land?" He asked, in a way he was stalling. Trying to buy time for Izah and Chase to leave unscathed.

Eternity wasn't fazed by his tone. "I crossed the boundary by mistake," she explained, twitching her ears. She blinked her milky-colored eyes, dappled auburn fur fluffing up in mild defense. "I can leave now, if you want." The she-wolf tossed her broad head in the direction of the border. Her gaze glinted with somewhat calm amusement as she threw a sideways glance at Serpe. Eternity's voice was gentle and calm as she spoke, and she shook her head once or twice to get rid of the irritable leaves that had rested on the back of her neck when she skidded.

Out the corner of his eye Zero spotted a slender wolf approach, he spoke of an intruder. Without a moment notice the alpha leaped to his feet and followed the swift wolf. A gentle voice reached his ear's, he had hoped so much that Izah had been found, but unknown to him, his prize wasn't so far after all. "You can't cross borders without smelling other wolves, the scent of my pack surrounds this area reaching far." he turned to the midnight blue male and spoke, "Do with her what you wish, If i wasn't so exhausted she would be dead." he turned back to the intruder, "Consider yourself Lucky." he growled harshly and turned away.

Eternity glanced at Zero. "The rabbit's scent masked the scent of the boundaries," she defended herself, tail swishing from one side to the other as her milky gaze scanned the undergrowth for the rabbit. Then a light-brown, fuzzy and stumpy tail stirring within the bushes. "Ahah! Found you!" she squeaked, posing to hop off again, then remembered what she was doing. "...Oh... Sorry." The female shuffled her paws and twisted her head around to lick a tuft of straying fur on her shoulder, trying to hide her embarrassment.

Chase craned her neck and looked the sliver male up and down as he appeared out of, more or less, no where. He seemed on edge and by his behaviour she only assumed that this pack was in pursuit of his life. That he was one of the, god knows how many, wolves this pack were hunting. At this point, she obviously had no clue that this was the wolf that possessed eternal life.
Without hesitation, the dark pelted female gave him brief eye-contact before following him. She would ask questions later. Although, she hadn't yet completely convinced herself that being on the others side was the cleverest of things to do. Zero seemed determined and that strong determination made him somewhat powerful. That nothing would stand in his way. To Chase, Zero seemed merciless. Nothing appeared to matter to him, nothing matched up to this eternal life that he so desperately longed to possess. All emotion seemed to be unpresent from this wolf, all emotion except anger, which was all Chase had witnessed him show.

Noting that the female was going to follow him, Izah eagerly increased his pace, just in time too. For not long afterward a scent passed by his nostrils that sent a horrid shiver running down his spine to the very tip of his tail. Zero was nearby, but by how faint it became and the lack of commotion the alpha had no clue that what he desired was right under his very nose. This caused a rather sly, amused smirk to spread across Izah's visage, a silent air of victory surrounding him.

It was short lived, though, for the silvered male inwardly shook it away to remain focus. Now was not the time to lower one's guard. Slipping through the underbrush once more, again he moved like a snake, his paws hardly making any tracks against the snow as if he were merely gliding over them. Only if he thought the female behind him was dragging behind would he slow, but with each passing second they became further and further away from the pack territory.

After some time, Izah finally stopped. They were near the spot where he had left Elly in but he wasn't sure of going to her yet, and he turned to the female behind him. "I got you out, now," his voice was still low even with the distance they made between themselves and the enemy. "You can go now, if you wish. Though they may hunt you down in which case you'll have to run for it. I can't say if I trust you enough to come with me, however, but if you need help you can try following us."

Eternity repeated her offer. "I can leave now. It's no trouble." she chimed, her pale-green eyes lit up by the reflections of the forest. She started to back away, unsure if the male wanted her to leave or not. Her dappled fur looked like autumn leaves, and it fluffed up in surprise as another leaf fell on her head. She shook it off quickly, embarrassed. (Sorry if it's short, my dog is trying to push me off of my chair. So far, she's succeeded. >-<')

Keeping up with this guys pace was exhausting, but Chase did her best. She was already faster than the average wolf but still struggled slightly. Eventually they came to a halt, Chases tongue rolled out her mouth and she panted softly as she examined her surroundings. "Trust me?" she barked, still catching her breath, "Well... wait, who are you and why are these pack of inbreds huntin' you?" she digressed, making herself avoid an explosive rant about trust. Her rib cage rose and fell fast and she panted in-between sentences and every now and then her gaze would wonder form his and skim the trees. "And... why did you come to my aid, not that I needed any, how'd you know that I had be captured?" she quizzed him, sternness in her voice.

Serpe nodded as Zero padded away, his crimson eyes turning back to the female. The light filtered down from the forest trees and onto her autumn fur as she shook off a leaf that had fallen on her head. Smirking, he stepped toward her until they were face to face.

"We have plenty of fresh prey that you won't have to hunt down," He said smoothly, circling the dappled fae, "Would you like to enter our territory? It seems our alpha has no problem with it." The midnight furred male stopped on front of the stranger, a somewhat smug smirk on his features.

"Come follow if you wish, Lucky." Serpe walked on back to the territory, his tail flicking 'Lucky's' muzzle as a gesture to follow. He found it amusing how Zero had said 'Consider yourself lucky', and so he thought it would be a suiting nickname. He glanced over it shoulder one last time, glad to find that Chase's scent was long gone from the scene. She must have gotten away.

"My name is Eternity, not 'lucky'." the she-wolf responded. She followed, tail drooped in a somewhat relaxed position, but she kept her stride to one level so she could easily follow Serpe. Eternity's milky eyes shone with an amber tint as the reflection of the sun flashed in them. She tipped her regally-pointed muzzle to sniff for that rabbit. If only it hadn't gotten away, the she-wolf would have some actually prey to feast on by now. But her sleek fur was a sign that she was a healthy, active wolf.

Izah's eyes narrowed slightly as he considered the female before him, shifting his muzzle so his right eye could get a clear view of her. Though the silvered wolf remained silent, hesitant to answer her questions. How much did she know? What was her involvement in all of this? Would she try something if she knew the truth? He had already risked to much by helping her.

"If you did not need my aid," he at last broke the silence. "It would of been better for me if you had attempted escape sooner."

Turning his gaze away from the female, he rose his muzzle to the air and breathed in. Clear so far... Next he shifted his gaze to the trees, taking a few paces toward them as if he were about to leave. "My name is Izah," abruptly he paused, looking back. "Depending on how much you know, that name alone should give you a clear reason why I'm being hunted down. I have someone else waiting for me and must check to make sure she is alright. As for knowing you had been caught, I was a short distance away when I heard your yelp, and it was partially my fault you were caught for that pack had scattered all over these woods in search of me. So I felt like I had to do something to make up for it, nothing more. Now, what are you going to do?"

As always, Izah remained alert with muscles tense. He observed the female carefully, for she could simply howl and alert the enemy pack of their presence. It could of all simply been a trap to lure him out like what had happened before, or if she knew what Izah could do, she could try winning the packs favor by turning him in or try killing him herself. Whichever the case, if he saw a hint of betrayal or trickery, he was prepared to act, wither it be striking her down or riding with the wind.

Topaz didn't respond to Zero's answer, she remained still and silent as though even speaking against him would cost her a decent amount of blood shed. Well who knew how he would react? Zero certainly seemed sick enough to attack or even kill for little or no reason. Topaz's mind began to cloud with visions the of silver male with his jaws rapped around many a wolves throat, one of which was Izah.

He must really want to keep ahold of his status... She thought, for some reason he reminded her of herself, she also craved dominance and if she ever got it she would wish to keep it. Topaz would never kill for such a petty thing though, but she was not Zero, and Zero was not sane.

Did she really belong in a pack full of such blood lust?

Topaz followed after the alpha after he was told of some kind of disruption in the territory. Though the auburn coated fae was curious as to what was happening she remained at a distance, her dark eyes fixed upon the area ahead of her. Being honest, she was disappointed with the lack of drama. It seemed that a stranger had simply wandered into the territory, and Zero did not really seem to care. Once he had left, Topaz was unsure of what to do, so she remained where she was stood, watching the midnight blue male from before and the intruder speak. "Wait you are allowing her to stay?" She questioned, her head tilted slightly to the right.

"So, I guess you must be the wolf with eternal life, huh?" she grumbled, rolling her eyes. She didn't believe the stories of a wolf being able to attain eternal life. She drooped her body lazily and gazed up at the alert male. A huff escaped her maw. She swung her neck to the left and then to the right, looking for whatever it was that was making him so alert. She narrowed her eyes as she done so then returned her gaze back to his. "Why so... tense? We're miles away from those crazy dogs." she spoke softly, yet there was always a sort of firmness in her voice. She flicked her ear then returned it to it's pointed forward position, "Well, I guess I'd rather like to tag along with you guys. If that alright with you, Izah." a sweet, juvenile smile swept across her jaws and she stood square with her neck craned, ears pert and tail slightly lifted, awaiting his verdict.

Cera growled lowly and slunk over to the dappled stranger, circling her suspiciously. She turned to Topaz to answer the auburn wolf's question.
"It seems that way." She fought the urge to roll silver eyes, "He's letting loners in left and right... If this keeps up we could have an ambush on our hands..." Cera mumbled something under eyes breath, her gaze meeting Serpe's for a moment.

"Or worse, another pack could be moving in." He finished for her. The dark furred wolf nodded and glanced sidelong at the sleek female.
"What is her name?" The beta asked, and Serpe answered with 'Eternity'. A snort came from her lips and she turned back to the territory. "Searching for a snack, were you? Come along then, and while you're at it tell us your purpose here." She walked back to the densite at a brisk pace, the group of wolves following suit.
"Topaz, you should come too...
Eternity, huh? It's unlikely for her to be a loner, being that fit. She glanced to make sure said fae was following, Yes, it's more likely for her to be from a pack and spying.

The fae breathed in deeply, and then explained in more detail. "I used to be in a pack farther from here. They abandoned me awhile back, so I came to roost near here... but at the moment I hadn't known another pack lived here." Eternity lowered her head, looking truely ashamed. "I didn't mean to cross the border, honestly. I was just chasing a rabbit from where I found it-- beyond your borders," she added, glancing at Serpe. "And I ended up here."

"It's exactly that sort of thinking that probably got you caught in the first place," Izah answered her question coolly, though it was difficult to tell if he meant it as an insult or if he was simply stating a fact. "Those 'crazy dogs' are not to be underestimated, I've eluded them for this long but only barely. If I lower my guard for even a second, I could be right at their paws."

Though a sweeter side of the female had showed (if it could be called that), Izah's eyes had narrowed slightly with suspicion. The green in them had by now began to fade, shifting back to their blue color. "If you're going to be tagging along, you're going to have to keep up, stay silent, and not lower your guard no matter how far we may get from those wolves." This meant he was allowing it.

Turning away, Izah began slipping through the underbrush again. "By the way, I didn't catch your name," the dark silvered male had noticed the way the female had rolled her eyes when she stated he was a wolf with eternal life, which pleased him more. It meant she didn't believe he had such an ability, which was for the best.

A huff escaped her jaws, "Well, to be fair, I wasn't aware there were such barbaric wolves that had to be avoided in these woods..." she trailed off as she approached him, her tone was smug, getting that last word in was an immature trait she had never grown out of. She would've blown a raspberry at Izah- but decided to at least try act mature. "I'll be alert as ever, even in my sleep if you want." she enthused, grinning. She travelled along side his right flank as they began to travel in the underbrush, "Oh, my name is Chase." her grin faded to a warm smile.

Topaz couldn't help but laugh aloud at Cera's response to her question. She seemed to hold some a minor amount of hatred for the midnight blue male and his smug cocky attitude. Maybe it was just the fact that he had allowed some stranger into the pack, but what ever it was it seemed to amuse Topaz. "Coming..." She reply to her, darting after the fae until she was just a meter or two behind her. Her eyes seemed to still hold a flicker of fear as she glanced around at the surrounding group on Cera's tail. These wolves...what do they think of me?... (Flail)

A sly smile began twitching at his lips unintentionally as he listened to the female talk, it was almost amusing but in a good way. "Fair enough," he replied to her comment as he ducked below a hanging branch. "Now that you do know, though, you'll be more aware. If you can do that in your sleep, it'd be greatly appreciated," he joked, the female's atmosphere was almost relaxing but even so he remained tensed.

"Chase? Hm, an interesting name," pausing, Izah rose his muzzle to the air once more, breathing in. Ears flicked back and forth as he listened to the night's sounds, before he turned in a different direction and continued on his way. "Well, Chase, it is a pleasure to meet you."

At last the duo came to a small clearing. Izah's eyes scanned the area before stepping through, and even then he was still being cautious. "Elly?" he called out just below a whisper. "Elly, are you there?"

A white eyed female poked her head from behind a bush, her eyes scanning wearily. "Oh Iazh it's you." he said softly emerging fulling from her hiding spot, "Is this her?" she questioned looking down at the female wearily.(fail)

Cera led them to the den where they kept all of the fresh kill, Serpe tailing her. The male smiled at her in response to her story,
"Hey, you didn't know. Oh, and help yourself to the kill,"
He looked at Cera for a reassurance and she nodded, sitting in front of a half eaten elk. Serpe gladly dug in, ripping out chunks of meat and using his sharp front claws to pull apart the skin and pelt. The beta stared at Eternity for a long moment before looking at Topaz.

"And what about you, huh? You never told us why you were around."

Drift walked around a tree, sniffing it. It didn't smell like any pack she knew of, but it smelled like some pack. Drift walked around untill she could smell something, finally. She walked around untill she saw a bird fly in the opposite direction of her. This usually ment something bad, but she couldn't smell anything. Just to be sure, she turned around and ran, dodging all the trees.

Topaz almost crashed into Cera as she halted; the auburn coated female had been tailing her so closely due to her uneasyness around the other wolves she had not been introduced to. The smell of fresh meat made her stomach aggressively growl with hunger. She had suddenly come over all hungry at the sight of food, but came to the conclusion that it would be rude to ask for a bite or two, so she remained silent. That was until Cera asked her how she ended up where she was.

Topaz let out a small amount of sweet laughter. Did she really not know the answer to that question? "Curiosity is my greatest weakness, do you really think I could ignore the sound of snarls and violence? I headed towards that direction and then found you.." She paused, wondering if she should add the part about the possibility of Zero giving her some dominance. Though she was sure it would make Cera squirm with hatred, Topaz didn't wish to cause arguments and played her words on the safe side. "I have been searching for something more than my past dull life, and Zero said I might have a interest in staying here," The female explained, her voice slightly uneasy and careful.

Drift panted, and stopped running. She looked around. She smelled a carcass, so she followed the scent. She saw a carcass. Her stomach growled with hunger. Drift gasped and got low, and forced her stomach to be quiet. There was other wolves around the meat! What if they killed her? What if they asked her to join? What if they kill Drift for tresspassing on their territory! Drift turned around and ran, terrified.

Cera listened to Topaz's story with a blank face, but internally was drinking in every word. The auburn she-wolf explained that curiosity was her greatest weakness, and that she couldn't resist the sound of the pack's growling.
Oh, was that all that made you want to come here? Cera wanted to ask to prompt Topaz into admitting that she wanted dominance in this pack. The dark-furred wolf shook her head slightly, taking note of Topaz's steady and unsure voice.
"Alright then. I hope you find good fortune here," Cera forced out, she had no idea why she was acting so kind when there was a rivalry bound to form. Silver eyes narrowed at the unfamiliar scent of wolf. Her ears perked at the sound of pounding paws and rustling leaves as they made way for whoever had just ran.
"Loner!" She barked with anger. The beta was getting sick of all these tresspassers. She got to her paws and went in front of a group of wolves that were trailing the intruder. Secretly, she was glad for the distraction.

Serpe hung back with Eternity and Topaz, thinking that the pack could deal with the situation themselves. Crimson eyes found their way to Topaz,
"You know, you can have a bite too if you like." He said calmly, knawing on a bone of the elk leg he had just eaten. "So... You and Cera fighting or somethin'? I've never seen her that mad."

A large male laid in the shadows, his amber eyes covered by his eye lids. The male wasn't sleeping though, he was listening to the pack that surrounded him. Zero's eyes flashed open as he heared paw steps then Cera's call. The alpha just watched, his eyes drifted to wolves that sprinted after his beta; they then found their way onto Topaz, Serpe, and the intruder. Zero held back a growl, the navy blue wolf was feeding a runt of a wolf his packs food! Zero just glared over at the male.

Eternity twisted her head to stare at Zero, as if she had just noticed him. She had a look on her face as if asking, "What's the matter?" But the she-wolf blinked and turned her head away to stare at the sky. She held back a long yawn and then a sneeze as a fern tickled her muzzle.

"Yes," Izah nodded to Elly's question, relieved that she was alright. His now more bluish gaze went back to look to the the female, gesturing for her to come. "Her name is Chase. She'll be coming along with us for awhile."

Suddenly the atmosphere changed. With spending so much time alone and on the run, wither it was caused by paranoia or not, Izah had become extremely sensitive to sudden changes. The air shifted and with it it brought along with one strange scent and one he recognized right away: Cera.

The beta had found another intruder, but this intruder was heading near their direction! If they got to close, the beta would no doubt discover they were there. A growl slipped through Izah's maw, body becoming even more tense and neck fur bristling. His gaze was faced in the direction he believed the source to come from, though he began walking in the opposite direction.

"We better go," his voice was low as if he were afraid Cera would hear him. The silvered wolf should of expected it, they'd been there too long. They had to go now if they didn't want to be caught.

Elly watched the male as he introduced the wolf by him. The white eyed wolf examined Izah as he grew tense, then the scent hit her; it was of the female that let her go. Elly nodded and trotted quickly to his side, "Let's go as quickly as possible." she said quietly.(fail)

Chase cautiously stepped into the clearing. Her whole body flinched as Izah called out for another wolf. A white wolf emerged and the tone of the atmosphere changed dramatically and quickly. They both became very tense which made Chase feel uneasy. Her mismatched eyes desperately searched the surroundings. She watched the two wolves intently, as if waiting for their instruction. "We better go." Izah declared quietly. Chases ears sat perked on her dome but she carried her body low. She followed at the heel of the two new acquaintances. "I don't understand, whats wrong?" she asked, keeping the loudness of her voice to a minimum. </shortshortshortt>

Topaz's dark russet (Brown) eyes followed Cera as she left to deal with another intruder; an sudden uneasy feeling rolling in her stomach. God your so pathetic, needing someone to "Protect" you and make you feel safe... A stern voice spat in her mind, but she knew it was right. Topaz straightened her posture and held her head higher, she was afraid that the two wolves before her could feel her fear. "Thank you," She said as she tore a chuck of meat from the kill, her eyes holding a grateful expression.

"So... You and Cera fighting or somethin'? I've never seen her that mad,"

The midnight blue male's words rang bitterly in her ears. "We are..." Topaz paused thinking of what to say, finishing her meal and her eyes meeting his. "What you could call rivals," The auburn coated female explained, unable to keep back the small smirk of smugness from forming on her jaws. Oh how she loved making Cera squirm with jealousy. "I never caught either of your two's names?" Topaz asked, tilting her head and her eyes flicking between the blue male and the stranger female.

At the sound of footsteps, Topaz jolted and quickly turned around to find Zero stood behind her. He seemed to be obversing the female that he had described as a runt who was tucking into the packs meat, he also seemed to be shooting sharp looks at the dark coated male. "Oh...Hello Zero..." Topaz whispered, forcing her tone into a sweet sound. She approached him, trying her best to grab his attention and keep it away from them. "Cera has gone to see to some intruder...maybe you should go with her?" She suggested, this was her attempt to save the pairs necks.

The amber eyes the the male sharply shift in the direction of Topaz, his glare just as harsh, "She can handle herself." Zero's was deathly calm. The alpha returned his gaze back onto the dark pelted male, "Why are you feeding her?" he moved past Topaz his his body tense and posture dominant. "If you feed them they come back, get rid of her before I do."

Serpe smirked at the smugness emanating from the female's voice as she explained that this fight of theirs had turned into a rivalry. He didn't know for what and wanted to know, but decided that he would learn soon enough. This female seemed like she was intending on staying for a while. His crimson eyes looked up at the alpha that laid a small distance from them.
The auburn she-wolf quickly jumped at the chance to save Eternity and his necks. Serpe sent a slightly grateful at her. Zero was one of the people he didn't want to be on the bad side of, no matter how much he likes to mess with the large male's head. The alpha ordered him to get rid of the dappled female before he does... Whether that meant by killing her or simply chasing her out, Serpe wouldn't allow.
"Oooh. Thought you said I could do whatever with her..." He trailed off as he noticed Zero's hostile and dominant posture, then let his ears fall against his skull. "I'll just...Go."
The midnight furred male gestured with his paw for Eternity to follow him into the outskirts of the forest.

Cera zoomed in front of the group, determined to find Izah. He should be out of this forest by now, She thought irritably, Izah was like the travelling elk to the demonic pack, wherever he went they all followed. I wonder what's keeping him? Was it the female I let go earlier? Dusted white paws flew over the snow, her nose desperately trying to find a scent. Once she caught it again she took a sharp turn at a thick tree, kicking up chunks of snow and pretty much leaving the rest of the search party in the dust. Heavy pants escaped her maw, making puffs of smoke trail behind her as she ran. Finally, she caught a glimpse of silvery fur and blue orbs through some bushes and she turned toward it.

What am I even doing this for?
She thought abruptly before her paw got caught under an arching tree root and twisted the appendage painfully. There was a dull Snap! and her body tumbled to the ground. Normally she would've stifled the cry of pain, but she let out a high-pitched yelp anyway, alerting the group of the approaching search party.

The look in Zero's eyes sent Topazs heart into a dash. She was unsure if she was afraid or just thrilled, but what ever it was the alpha was definitely a merciless being who wouldn't give a second thought at killing anyone of them. Her attempted of distracting Zero had failed, but luckily the pair were already recoiling. The auburn she wolf exhaled, glad that innocent blood had not been shed.

But now she was alone...The blue wolf and the stranger female had gone...Alone with Zero and a number of other wolves she did not know...

Topaz's dark eyes slid back to the grey male, remaining silent and still as though he was some kind of mine field and if she took one wrong step it would be disastrous. "You know, he was only giving her a bite to eat and then she was going to leave," Topaz explained, unsure if this was the plan or not, but never the less it did not matter.

A sudden shrill sounding cry echoed in the distance. "Cera?" She whispered aloud, before absently dashing off in that direction.

"The beta of the group that's after me," Izah explained to Chase. "She's very near, we have to leave before she spots us."

Even as he said it, Izah caught sight of a white muzzle and silver eyes, the white fading back to black. For once his blue eyes widened and flashed with fear, his heart beating rapidly. Quickly he rose on his back legs, attempting to make a sharp turn to the other direction and bolt for it. However, when his paws touched ground again, his ears flicked backward at the sudden yelp the beta female had made. He hesitated.

Fool, he snarled at himself. Already he could hear the approaching paws of the other pack members, Cera had left them behind so they still had a good distance to cover. "Listen," he spoke to the other two females. "I'm going to make a run for it, top speed. We can't slow up even for a split second. Keep up if you can, but if you are unable to and they're catching up, split up and take a different path. They'll remain focused on mine most likely."

Without another word, Izah bolted. The forest foliage engulfed him in their white arms, his silver fur gleaming and almost blending in. Even as he ran, his paws made light steps across the snow, every bush and over hanging branch undisturbed as he passed by. Years of constant practice and experience, he was like a ghost of the forest.

Drift heard the wolves chasing after her and she ran even faster. "No, no no!" She said, looking behind her to see wolves sprinting towards her. She dodged trees, panting, and ran straight towards a lake. When she got there, Drift jumped in the freezing cold water and ducked down under water, holding her breath. She wondered if the wolves where still there, so she lifted up her head a bit.

((Just to clear something up, cuz I just noticed what I wrote didn't make sense *sweatdrop* Cera scented Drift, but she caught Izah's scent and went after him instead. The pack split up between Drift and Izah...

Zero stood looking on as the dark blue male as he walked away with the stranger. "WHat she ate could have helped my pack keep strength. That wolf most likely will die.. Better for us." he added the last part as a whisper. Zero's heart nearly stopped as he heard Cera's yelp. He wasn't far behind Topaz as he began running as well; quickly by passing her, his paws slamming heavily into the snowy ground. This has to be bad... Normally Cera wouldn't show weakness. A voice echoed in his mind, Zero's face showed for the first time in a long time held an emotion other then anger, frustration; it was worry.

Zero entered the area were Cera was, (After tracking her scent) "What happened?!" he questioned the female as he came closer and examined her contorted paw.

The silvery female shook as she heard a shrill yelp and the sound of paw steps, she barely comprehended a word Izah said.as the male took of Elly followed, she wasn't as swif as the male but she was able to keep up staying a good distance away.(Fail)

Cera's thoughts swam inside her head dizzily for a moment, the only thing she was able to see was the light snow falling down in a blurry haze. Once her vision focused, her ears perked at the sound of pawsteps and suddenly the answer to her question before was beside, studying her injured appendage. Zero...I'm doing this for him. Such a foolish thing, to ask that kind of question. The beta's silver eyes gazed up, surprised to find that the expression on his face was different than what she had seen in all her years around him. The alpha male looked a bit concerned.

"What happened?!" He asked. Cera gulped internally, if he found out that it had simply been an attempt to warn the target of their appearance, he would certainly not be pleased. She mustered up the strength answer,
"I was after Izah... Th-The d*mn tree root got in the way." Cera made it as blunt as possible, hoping it woul suffice. Her head turned to look at her paw, which was bleeding sluggishly and was twisted in an unnatural way. Her nose twitched in discomfort. Out of the corner of her eye she caught sight of Topaz, Oh, so she me along too?. The fae's thoughts were a bit jumbled and lazy, each passing second she found it harder and harder to gather up a thought. Cera let her head plop back down on the snow, wincing at the sharp pain in her paw.

Serpe led Eternity out of the territory, near a lake that ran through the land. (Its the same lake that Drift is in)
He looked back over his shoulder, "Well I guess this is goodbye." Serpe yipped before leaving, "I hope you enjoy your other lone friend!" The wolf sprinted off, giving Eternity a strong hint that someone else was near. Apparently he sensed or smelled a loner under the water.

Eternity suddenly looked confused and her jaws widened in an unspoken question. But all that she managed as Serpe hopped off was, "Wh-wha?" The timber's green eyes were wide as she watched him go. "What other 'lone friend'?" she murmured to herself. I don't get it...

Zero gritted his teeth at the sight of the fallen wolf, "You're normally not this clumsy." he grunted. Cera was the most agile and skilled runner in his pack, what would cause her focuse to shatter like this? The scarred male felt something gently fall on his pelt, then chilling the skin beneath. It had began to snow again. Zero lifted his head, letting loose a howl calling their healer. "What was distracting you?" Zero questioned his facial expression changed to a more sturn looked even though his amber eyes betrayed his real emotion.

Unknowingly to Izah, his eyes had shifted to a sharp, emerald green. His focus was mainly looking ahead and listening for fast paws crunching through the snow above Elly's and Chase's own. So far all was quiet, which pleased him but nonetheless remained alert.

A light drift of snow began to fall around them, and Izah couldn't help but smile. Their tracks could be covered, Zero and his gang would have less of a chance of finding them now. Suddenly, a howl echoed through the air. The sound was haunting to him, and he knew instantly whom it belonged to. Even though it was not intended for him, the dark silver male couldn't help but think it was taunting him, mocking him. Forever it was that howl and that wolf he'd been running away from for what seemed like ages, but no matter what distance he gained he was always right there behind him.

Izah became distracted, his heart pounding at how close the howl sounded and eyes widening with fear and determination. His paws lost their rhythm, they stumbled over each other and he tried straightening them out a bit. But then the ground became lost beneath him, his paws descended in midair. A sharp yelp of surprise and bewilderment escaped past Izah's maw, then he found himself half-tumbling and half-rolling down a mini cliff that jutted out from the earth. It had to be no more than five feet, instead of fighting it Izah rolled along while using protruding rocks to slow his descent. Finally all four paws reached the bottom, he stood and shook out his fur and head to both clear off the snow and his mind. No pain, he was unscathed. Good. Glancing back up to the cliff/hill, his now emerald eyes looked for Chase and Elly, making sure they hadn't been left behind and had noticed his fall so they wouldn't make the same mistake. He hoped they wouldn't have shouted out his name or called out, his own yelp risked them all greatly of revealing their location, though there was still a chance it went unnoticed. Hopefully they'll only glance down and see he was alright, then slide down the hill after him and they could continue their run.

Drift tensed her mucles when she heard the howl, but kept on walking, away from the pack's territory. Why couldn't I just have said something? Like sorry? She thought. But then she thought that if she did stay and said sorry, they probably would've killed her. Drift sighed. It was a hard life that wolves lived in.

The dappled timber wolf stiffened as a cold wind blew past her, and felt snow falling onto her pelt. Then she turned with surprise as cold as icemelt as another wolf's head popped out from the water.
So THAT'S what he meant... she thought. Everything was making sense now. But why did Serpe take me here? Eternity stared at the new appearance in confusion, her dark, milky-green eyes intact and their pupils converting from contracted dots to round, wide spheres. But as the cold snow pelted her, she began to lose her footing due to numb paws. She crouched, ready to leap into battle if the wolf got defensive. "Who are you?"

Elly gasped as she saw Iazh vanish into the thickening snow fall. She held her tongue. Elly slowed her pace as she aproached the spot were the male had vanish. A dark silvery pelt and emerald eyes met her eyes as she side with relif. THe female leaped down, bounceing off rocks; she was following a similar path. The she wolf landed clumsily by Izah her tongue lolled from her maw, "You scared me" she whispered to the male between pants.( don't be everyone makes mistakes)

As Cera came into view, Topaz raised her speed, but even by doing so Zero still raced in out front of her. His level of speed and strenth made the autumn her feel some what weak and omega like, but she would never compair herself to an alpha, let alone a wolf as powerful as Zero. For some reason Topaz held a great amount of concern for the Cera, even though they held a high amount of hatred for each other. The smell of blood sent a sickly feeling dance in her stomach. "Oh god," She hissed quietly, standing beside the wounded female. Zero's maw held a concerned appearance, which was the most emotion he had shown since she met him. Maybe he did like his beta fae?

A sudden amount of rage rushed over Topaz, all the care she held for Cera had now faded to little. A sound that was little less then a snarl escaped her jaws as she shot a sharp look at the female. "Stupid prat," The auburn fae spat, few people had seen the darker side of her.

Cera held back a snort of cold air. Apparently her blunt response had not lowered his suspicion, but she wasn't going to tell him whatsoever. She opened her mouth to answer but something drifted into her ears that sounded something like,
Stupid prat. Immediately Cera recognized it as a certain auburn she-wolf's voice, and it made the blood in her veins light up in flames. Suddenly she pushed herself up off the ground, her back left leg touched the ground so she could face Topaz. Once pressure was put on the paw, the she-wolf trembled and lifted it up so she wouldn't collapse. Something was definitely broken. Her silver eyes found their way to Zero again, unable to hide the slightly sheepish look.
"Nothing was there to distract me... I-It was my own fault for not looking. I apologize." She said in a low voice, then right after winced and sat down. Looking around with only her eyes, she saw Topaz who sending her a hateful glare (Cera would have returned it if the situation were different) and a few of the pack members returning from their chase. They hadn't found the loner or Izah. Don't know if thats a good or bad thing... She glanced down at her paw. Probably a bad thing...

The healer wolf appeared a moment later, scurrying over to examine and treat the injury. Cera looked away as the wolf worked, sickened by the sight of blood oozing out of it. Holding back winces and whimpers, she narrowed her eyes in the direction of Topaz, trying to focus on her hate toward the she-wolf rather than on the fact that her paw hurt like crap.
Did you come all this way just to mock my slip-up?

A sense of relief went through the dark silver-furred male at the sight of Elly, she hadn't cried out in shock (unlike him). As the female proceeded to make her way down the slope, Izah took a few steps back to get out of her way. Ears were strained to their highest listening point as he observed her coming down, no howl's sounded or the rushing sound of running paws, all was silent in the night air save for the falling snow beneath Elly.

"Sorry," Izah replied automatically when she had reached his side. Emerald orbs glanced back to the top of the slope, becoming anxious when the familiar shape of Chase did not appear. "I don't think they know where we are," he whispered to Elly, though did not move his gaze. "We'll continue on in this direction, then once we're far enough and safe we can find a spot to rest."

Zero acted like he was oblivious to the tension between the two females but on the alpha mind everything was going according to plan.By the looks of it, it wouldn't take much to snap both of them.(If you want to know what he's thinking about just ask I'll tell you.) Zero stepped back from Cera as she got to her feet, he held his tongue; he wanted to let the tension last until it was the right moment. Soft paw step of the others sounded around them, he was glad.(OMG my brain wont work!) Zero turned away from the healer wolf, who just had begun to work Cera, and the injured she wolf and walked away from them passing TOpaz and then into the foliage heading back to the camp.(Fail)

Elly followed his gaze back up to where she had just came from, "It's fine and If they had gotten her we would have heard something.."she sighed turning her gaze back to Izah. The white eyed wolf nodded and motioned for the male to lead the way.

(Holy cow, I've missed quite a bit. Been crazy busy, lol! -Sorry... :) ))

Chase bounded just at the heel of Izah. She was fit and fast but was pushing herself to keep up with the silver male. He blended so well with his surroundings so her nose had to keep her right. She weaved in and out of trees, branches and undergrowth before she slipped up and was smacked in the chops by a low branch. She stopped abruptly and gathered herself up. She stood square and alert as she surveyed her surroundings. Even though she had only stopped for a couple of seconds Izah and Elly were well out of sight. Gone. Her ears were like satellites and her wet nose shimmered as it twitched trying to pick up the two wolves scents.
Finally she caught smell of them. She dipped her head and sprinted full throttle in their direction. She stopped at the top of a small cliff like hill and peered over it's edge. Her orbs lit up as she gazed down on Izah and Elly, relived she had found them. She sized up and examined the slight steep hill and hopped down it like a mountain goat. She bounced over to the two "Sorry I fell behind. I ... ran... into a tree. I guess I just ran so fast that my co-ordination went to pot." She huffed, trying to catch a breath.

Izah knew that Elly had to be right, and he wondered if Chase had simply wondered to her own path because she couldn't keep up with them. After a few more seconds he remained where he was, then turned to lead them away.

A sudden movement at the very corner of his eye drew his attention back to the cliff, mind thinking it was the enemy, but to his relief it was Chase. Staying where he was at, he waited to see she made it down alright and was safely by their sides. "Well I'm glad to see you're alright," he commented. "Next time try slowing your pace just enough to get your coordination comfortable, if you can get that adjusted to your liking you should be able to still keep up and avoid hitting anything else." Izah smiled at the female, showing it was only friendly advice and simply not just a correction.

Then his visage showed worry and concern once more as he glanced back up the hill. To him he thought Zero was still close behind, but his eyes had began shifting to their bluish color again. "I don't think we'll be going through as many obstacles this way," he said, turning away from the cliff to look off into the distance. "We'll go a little further off, and once we find good enough shelter and we're sure they've lost our trail, we can rest for the night. Thankfully this falling snow will cover our tracks, but hopefully it won't turn into a blizzard while we're running."

That said, Izah continued on his way. The snow fell lightly around them, and ears still catching no signs of pursuit took the opportunity to slow his pace somewhat. It was best to conserve his and the other's energy should they really need to make a run for it, and increase their stamina for longer travel.

Topaz watched from a small distance as the healer wolf worked on Cera's wound, her upper lip quivering with anger. She couldn't help notice that when the two fae's began to show aggression towards each other, Zero did nothing at all to stop them. Was this what he wanted? Did he want them to be rivals? She didn't know...She didn't care either...Either way she hated Cera, she made every drop of her blood boil.

With a awfully smug smirk on her jaws, Topaz slowly turned to leave. "You injure yourself by falling over a tree root, god knows how pathetic you will be in battle," She hissed just loud enough for Cera to hear, before racing towards Zero. (Writers block -.-)

Izah's breath came out in cold wisps from his maw, breathing remaining in rhythm with his paws but growing heavier. How long had they been running? At last the male slowed his pace, until he came to an abrupt stop. Muzzle to the air, nostrils flared as the dark silvered male took in the scents the cold wind offered, ears swiveling back and forth for stray sounds. Silence.

"We can stop here," he told the other two, turning to face them. Shifting his muzzle, it pointed out something deeper in the foliage, though at first glance there was nothing. Izah walked in that direction, pushing pass a few bushes and walking beneath overhanging branches, doing his best not to disturb the snow that covered them. When he stopped by what appeared to be a hill of some sort, he vanished. A second later his head reappeared, showing the opening to a little den that had been camouflaged well with snow and shadows. "If we're being followed, there's a very likely chance they'll pass right on by from us, and with the help of the snow fall it'll both cover our tracks and mask our scents. I'll set a false trail for just in case, but I think we'll be safe here for now."

Elly felt her body grow tired the longer the ran, her paws were numb from the chill of the snow the blanketed the ground; more was still falling. Mist billowed out of the canine's mouth as he panted heavily. Dang he is in shape. he was sprinting so fast for so long! Elly was greatful as Uzah began to slow his pace, her limbs still cried out, begging for the motion of running to stop. Soon their wish would come true.

Elly skidded to a halt nearly slamming into Izah's rump a full speed. The silvery female stood unsteadily on her paws , head down, and her sides heaved. She waited, listening to Izah as he moved around. As the male spoke Elly brought her had up as looked at him with a greatful smile," Ok but once I get my energy back I'll get food.. That won't take that long." the canine moved over to the hidden den passing Izah and sat down enjoying how warm it was compared to the outside.

They had been running for so long that it hurt to breath, the cold air burned her lungs. Chase was as fit as a fiddle but Izah was even fitter. He didn't even look tired. He didn't even seem to slow his pace.
At last they had come to a halt. A pink tongue rolled from her maw and she panted heavily as she listened to the silver male. Chase swivelled her ears back and forth, traced every inch of the forrest with her eyes and and stood in an alert manner. Her eyes dashed over to Elly as she proceeded into a hidden den to rest.
Chase captured her tongue back into her jaws and sighed through her nose. Her warm breath turned into mist then disappeared as quickly as it formed. She then began to pant again, this time not as heavily and this with her tongue more hidden. She gave Izah a quick glance and smiled at him before following at Elly's heel. She sat aside her acquaintance but said nothing. She just looked out from the dens entrance.

Both of the female's condition worried Izah. He was used to traveling alone and wasn't aware of the average stamina a wolf used for just hunting and surviving, his own had been built for running from others to save his own skin. In a way it made him hopeful that perhaps the wolves in Zero's pack were similar, but then again he would of had wolves trained for this sort of thing.

"I don't think that would be necessary," the male said to Elly. "I appreciate the offer, but I think we all need sleep mostly. The night is passing and it'll be dawn soon, which we should leave about then. I'll go out and find something, I still have some energy left."

The male headed to the mouth of the cave without waiting a response from Elly, though paused to glance in their direction with a light smile. "Though you could take the next hunt tomorrow when we stop again."

It was worrying to have two others with him, but it lightened Izah's spirit greatly. To have other wolves with him that weren't trying to take the eternal life from him made him feel normal, it was great to have others to talk to. That could be the end of you, a dark voice echoed in his mind. The constant cautious and paranoid part of him that hardly ever seemed to leave him alone, and though it annoyed him most of the time it had helped him out of many difficult situations. You have to focus on taking care of yourself and yourself alone. You can't afford to watch over two other's you just happen to cross paths with.

Hiding the irritated snarl that threatened to show, Izah forced the thoughts to the back of his mind. I know what I'm doing, he told himself sternly. I gave them both warnings and precautions. As long as they're followed then there should be nothing to worry about.

After the healer had departed and Cera was able to stand (although with her injured paw in midair) was when she heard Topaz's hateful commet. The black and white she-wolf let out a snarl, already starting to follow the rest of the pack at a fairly fast pace considering her paw. Her ears didn't detect what Zero said after that, but she his mouth moving. The alpha disappeared back into camp. Rage coursed through her very being, a more evident scowl on her face than usual. Cera limped up next to the auburn wolf, lagging a bit behind.

"I'd like to see your sorry little a-!" Before she could finish, a familiar voice rang out from behind the bushes.

Serpe burst out from the brush, racing up to the two females with that oblivious little grin on his face.
"Now wasn't that exciting! Who'da think that the Cera would trip over a tree root!" He yipped, snow crunching violently beneath his bouncy steps.
"Why- Shut up you idiot! Once this darn paw is healed I'll have your tail!"

The auburn fae halted at Zero's comment, though his words did not surprise her, his tone of voice did. Why was he so calm? Why did he sound so peaceful even though he could easily kill her right on this spot? For some reason Zero's soft speech made Topaz fear him even more than she already did. A emotionless killer was far worse than ones with thoughts and feelings...

Topaz couldn't help but laugh lightly at Cera's reaction; she was lapping up the drama like a cat drinking milk. Even though the silver Alpha had already ordered her to drop it, she could not resist giving her a smug glare. Nothing more nothing less...

Elly opened her mouth to protest, she wanted to do something to help; she was the reason that Izah was so close. If it wasn't for her, Izah wanted have had such a close call and had been long gone by now. THe white eyed female hadn't noticed that he had stopped at the entrance of the den, the sound of his voice scared her. Elly jumped to her feet and looked up at Izah with wide eyes, "Oh Okay.." the female sat down hot with embarrassment. THe silvery wolf glanced over at Chase then moved to the back of the cave to rest. (Zero's just in his den resting, so I'm not going to post him.)

Cera's eyes burned into the ground as they reached the camp, and for a moment she just stood there at the entrance, thinking. Her gaze turned grudgingly to Serpe,
"I can't believe I'm saying this..." She mumbled bitterly, "But.." Cera sighed and turned away, talking the midnight furred wolf with her back to his face. "Take the fighter's out for a drill. Maybe even send out a few trackers."

Serpe's head tilted, usually the beta didn't act so...Dramatic. Or emotional. Crimson eyes blinked as he realized that she was actually giving him permission to do something useful. Something was definitely wrong. But he wasn't going to waste this, it was his time to shine! A wider grin was on his maw now,
"Alright, I promise not to burn the forest down this time!" He beamed, watching her slink away.
"Idiot...I need some sleep..." Serpe turned away, oblivious to her statement, to face Topaz.
"Hey, you should come with us! Give you somethin' to do I guess." He offered, already starting to pad to the fighter's den. Wait until the general hears this!

((Ehm... 'General' would be the head fighter xD))

Topaz turned at the sound of a familiar voice, not Cera's, but someone else who she knew and some what trusted. Her pupils enlarged with interest as she listened to the male's offer. Sounds amusing...Might add a flash of colour to my dull life... "I would love to!" The auburn fae replied with a small silky smile, her dark eyes still rather large. "Just give me a moment, There's something I have to do...I'll meet you at the fighters den okay?"

The fae then popped her head around the corner of the cave to find Zero resting quietly, for a second or two she just watched him, laid there, his expression somewhat peaceful. "Zero?..." Topaz whispered quietly, hoping his was not asleep or near to falling. "I came to apologiese for being so rude to Cera, though your not the one I should be apologizing to I know...But I know its not my place to insult someone with such status, I should respect her allot more than I do" She explained, her tone low and slow, as though she was trying to force the words into the alpha's brain.

The funny thing was, that Topaz was lieing. She held little respect for Cera now, knowing that the two of them were fighting for dominance and Zero. Infact she was jealous of the Beta female, and some what loathed to be her. The autumn coated fae was simply saying these things in attempt to win over Zero.

Amber eyes slowly open as Zero awoke to the sound of his voice being called. The alpha looked over at Topaz with a calm eyes, "It's good that you see the wrong in you actions, but as you stated I'm not the one you should be saying this to. Cera is the one who deserves the apology." Zero closed his eyes not slipping back into slumber but waited for Topaz to speak once more.

Izah watched as Chase began walking away, off into the woods in a different direction from both them and the enemy pack. When she was out of sight he decided it was time to catch some food. "I'll be right back, wait here," he said to Elly, and then was off.

Even now the snow continued to fall. It became a little heavier but it didn't bother him, there was nothing that would make him regret the snow fall... except perhaps it made it harder to find food. Still, he simply continued on, searching and looking. The dark silvered wolf wondered around a bit until he caught an ever so faint scent of rabbits. A burrow was nearby. Usually he would wait until the rabbits showed themselves, but he couldn't linger out here any longer, so off he went to digging into the snow. After some time the rabbits couldn't contain themselves any longer, they dashed away from their location at his scent and approaching figure. One had gotten close enough for an easy kill, but the others proved to be more difficult. A chase was held and Izah went after one of the slower looking bunnies, trying to keep up while trying to avoid hitting anything. Finally, with a pounce, he brought the rabbit down.

Returning to the burrow location, he scooped up the first rabbit he killed and carried his prizes back toward the den.

((Psh, not the best hunting post you heard but it got the job done xD

((Sorry for dying the past few days... I went on an overnight three day trip into the wilderness >:3))

Cera lowered her self down onto her side so as to not graze her paw on the rock of the den. The beta rested her head on the cool ground, her muzzle pointed downward more toward her chest, almost protectively. Her eyes flicked shut and she drifted in and out of consciousness, and even if she wasn't entirely asleep if anyone tried to wake her up...

You'd never see the end of it...

Serpe nodded at Topaz, only briefly wondering where the loner was off to before he returned to the fighter's den. Pleased to see that the general was fast asleep, the midnight furred male gestured for the wolves to step outside. After explaining that he was 'in charge' of them until Cera was up and running, he paced around, waiting for the auburn she-wolf to appear again.

(Sorry about my inactiveness : ( I went away for a few days and didn't have chance to tell youh! )

Topaz nodded but said no more after Zero replied, she felt like the silence was better at speaking than she was. Anyway, the alpha looked as though he was not in the mood for a long heart to heart conversation...

He looked...some what...harmless?

The autumn coated fae then slunk out of the cave and headed back down towards the hunters den where the midnight blue male offered to give her somewhat of a adventure. For some reason, Topaz had a idea that the "hunt" she was going to join in with had something to do with the blessed wolf named Izah, but she was not incredibly sure...

The Auburn female halted a few meters in front of him, a small smile on her jaws. "Hi-!" Topaz just realized she did not know his name, for some reason she felt to blood rush to her maw and became to embarrassed to ask for it.

Serpe's head shot up as the auburn female approached, pausing shortly after greeting him. Noticing the slight embarassment, he chuckled lightly and swished his tail as a gesture for her to follow.
"I guess I never introduced myself properly. The names Serpe." He said, the group of fighters now gathered outside of the den.
"Let's head off," He commanded, though with a low voice. If the general woke up he'd chew him off. The midnight furred male lead the group from the front, stopping every few seconds to make sure everyone, including Topaz was following out into the wilderness.

Topaz exhaled as the Midnight blue male introduced himself as Serpe. For some reason, she found that the name fitted him perfectly, it reminded her of a snake, and he himself was rather slick. "Its nice to meet you," She said with a gentle smile. The auburn wolf nodded as they were ordered to follow after him. Topaz stayed close by Serpe's ankles, feeling uncomfortable near the other wolves. "Where exactly are we heading?" She asked quietly, though that was not the real question. It was really...Who exactly are we following?

The snow crackled beneath the paws of the trekking wolves, but he could still hear her voice over the noise. He thought for a moment.
"Normally Zero or Cera would lead us to find Izah..." He mumbled, slowing his pace so he could scan the area to see if it would be good for training, "But since they're both not available for that, we'll to do drills." Serpe stopped in the middle of one clearing, the tree branches stretching far out to shield them from the moonlight. He hoped that they would see him stop so they wouldn't bump into him, his pelt usually blended in well with the darkness, being the color of the night sky itself. Crimson eyes were a sure tell-tale sign that he was present, so the troop halted and waited for his command,
"Alright, we'll split you up into two groups. Half of you, work on your tracking skills and see if you can bring anything back. Maybe an elk or two." He didn't mention Izah at all, which puzzled them, but half of the group dispersed and disappeared off into the trees.
"The rest of you can spar together. Play nice, now." Serpe smirked as they took their fighting stances, locking eyes with whoever they chose to battle with. The midnight male turned to Topaz and lowered his head so his neck wasn't exposed.

"I hope your good at dodging." He stated, "Fight!" The male rushed toward the she-wolf and jumped as if he was going to pounce on her. At the last minute he dug his paw into the ground, cutting the leap short, and snapped his jaws just inches away from her shoulder. He waited for her response, the wolves around him breaking into action.

The blood trail the dangled rabbits from his maw left behind was going to be difficult to cover, along with the upturned snow he caused when chasing after them. After he dropped the food off he'll have to retraced his steps and do the best he could, he didn't want any signs left near their hiding spot.

Izah's ears flicked with the sounds of the night, slight rustling of bare branches above from a passing wind and an occasional hoot of an owl. How great it would be to have wings, to spread them to their full length and flap them on a coming breeze. Then to be lifted and carried into the air, rising so high that those below could mistake you for a cloud, a star, or a bird, then to leave one location miles behind with a simple few flaps, and you'll forever be gone.

"Owe!" Izah's muzzled met the trunk of a tree, momentarily dazed. The sudden impact rustled the branches above and a light drop of snow fell over him. Shaking out his pelt, he shook his head to clear it and cursed himself for being so careless, body sending a shiver down his spine when the snow was removed. At least he was near the cave now, and he headed to the direction.

"Elly?" he called softly into the den. "I brought food, it isn't much but it should fill us up." Entering the enclosure, he gently placed the carcasses on the ground. "There are still no signs or sounds of pursuit, I believe we'll be alright through the rest of the night. After we eat we should sleep, we'll head out again when we wake up." As he waited for an answer, the dark silver male glanced outside at the falling snow. It was still going at a steady pace, and he hoped it would be enough to cover the splotches of blood where he had killed the rabbits. The blood trail, thankfully, only lead a quarter of the way to their hiding spot, and Izah took care to set a false trail until the bleeding had stopped. Any tiny droplets that managed to slip off would very likely be covered in the snow fall.

Elly's eyes flashed open as she heard a voice not far from the den. Had the other pack found them. SHe was relived as Izah popped up, "OH it's you." she nearly squeaked with joy and relief, "And you brought food!" THe white eyes wolf walked over to the rabbit and took a small bit then looked up, "THank you>" she said softly.

A sound of surprise escaped Topaz's jaws as she quickly leapt back out of Serpe's reach, landing on the tip of her paws and arching her back in a rather feline way. As he halted and snapped right before her she realized he had no invention of hitting her right away, he was just teasing and testing her. The auburn coated female began quickly began dancing around the male, her nimble legs bouncing back and forth as though she was on springs, enabling her to be able to quickly leap forward when attacking or recoil when dodging. Though Topaz's fighting skill's were only average, her intelligence and tactical skills made up for it.

The fae then bounded forward, as thought to make a attack on Serpe's shoulder, but suddenly she quickly changed her target to his neck. Jaws open, expecting to give the navy wolf a nasty nip. She hoped that she had fooled the male, but who knew? Maybe Serpe was just as smart and swift as her...

Serpe's red eyes flickered everytime Topaz made a move, which was often. He tilted his head slightly at her strategy, bouncing around all the while alert for any attack. The male was so engrossed, watching auburn paws drifted across the dirt and land inches away, that when the fae lunged at him with fangs bared he almost didn't have enough time to react. Almost.

Serpe sidestepped, since it appeared as if she were going for his shoulder but at the last minute she aimed for his neck. His eyes widened, mind calculating all the possibilities to prevent her teeth meeting his jugulars. The wolf dug a front paw into the ground and launched himself at her flank, a back leg still outstretched for her to trip over. It would look as if he was going to ram into her though.

Topaz let out a small squeak of fear when she realized that Serpe was just as witty and quick as her; the auburn female had no or little back up plan. She began to recoil but was much slower than she had hoped to be and the midnight coated male crashed into her any how, knocking the wind slightly from her lungs. "Damn you!" Topaz panted, teeth now bared in anger and aggression. The female leapt into the air, towards Serpe, and opened her jaws ready to bite his spine. By the looks of it, she was not just sparring anymore, this bite would be for making her feel weak, but still she didn't intend to cause him life threatening damage.

Topaz did not want to hurt him, Serpe was one of the few wolves she trusted here...
Maybe she could even describe the blue male as a friend...?

Color change. I just realized that there is a navy color you can use, and I was liek: "Why the heck am I using teal if Serpe is a navy furred wolf? O_O"))

He ended up collding with her side and knocking her back somewhat, earning a furious
"Damn you!" From the fae. A smug little smirk appeared on his maw and he moved to face face, expecting to see fangs bared in aggression. The sound of crunching snow met his ears as weight was lifted off of it, someone leaping into the air. Red eyes glanced up to see Topaz, open jawed, aimed straight at his back.

The only words that swirled in his adrenaline pumped head right now were: Oh crap-
Then many, sharp as tack teeth connected with his spine and he winced, faltering a bit. This loner was not sparring anymore. Serpe managed a thin smile, legs shaking at the pressure on his spine. He felt blood trickling from the punctures, but it wouldn't be much. Topaz obviously didn't mean to make a killing blow. His lone ear drooped and lowered his head slightly, as if in submission.
"Alright, alright, you got-" Abruptly, he jerked his whole body to the ground, intending to bring her down with him. The navy male rolled around in the grass for a moment, "Nice fighting." He looked around, seeing that a few of the fighters had stopped to watch. The trackers broke through the brush, back from their trip.
"Okay, lets head back." He said, locking eyes with Topaz once before standing, the wound on his back now forgotten.

Zero awake with the faint rays of the afternoon sun falling on his face, dappled but branches. He slowly got to his feet yawning. "I've slept in." he grunted. Zero walked out of the den to feel bone chilling wind tug at his fur. THe aloha shook out his fur and padded to the middle of the camp, he watched as some wolves wandered around.. " Alright enough sleeping!" he barked, " It's time to head out again!" Zero looked about the camp his eyes searching for his beta, then he remembered her injury. "Serpe!" he growled, "Come here!"

Elly's eyes slowly opened and popped her head out the den, it was just before dawn they should be leaving now. SHe turned and saw izah, he looked to be sleeping but she wasn't sure. Was he just waiting for her to get up? "Umm Izah, you ?"she questioned(fail)

The dark-silver male's ears bent backward at the sound of stirring, followed soon after by Elly's voice. He had been up for awhile now, waiting for the golden-lining of the sun over the horizon. "Good morning, Elly," he raised his head, smiling. Stretching out his limbs, he gesture to a rabbit on the cave floor. "Sorry if it's a bit cold, but the meat should still be fresh. I already ate mine, go ahead and eat and we'll head out."

Shaking out his pelt, he sent Elly another smile and walked toward the mouth of the cave. There he exited and glanced about the area, raising his muzzle to test the air now and then and flicking his ears to hear anything out of the ordinary. So far everything still remained quiet, though as soon as Elly was finished he wanted to head off.

Topaz awoke early that morning, she had not slept incredibly well and had mainly danced in and of out nightmares. Slowly the auburn fae got to her feet and glared around the cave before walking towards the entrance. For a while she just sat there, watching a peaceful golden sunset...

Serpe was peacefully snoozing until the alpha's harsh call met his ears. At that, he cringed and jumped up, eyes frantically searching around. After seeing that the fighter's were now up and leaving the den, his eyes searched around until he found Cera, who was still out cold. The navy male had begun to wory about the beta a bit, she had slept through the afternoon and all of this morning, wouldn't she be up by now? It wasn't like her to sleep in like this...

"Serpe! Come here!" Zero's voice rang in his ears, making him sigh and stalk over to the entrance, where Topaz was observing the sun rising from the trees. He yawned and shook his pelt out,
"Have a good sleep?" He asked casually, peering out the entrance to see Zero in the middle of camp, "You can stay here and...rest if you'd like. We're probably going out to track Izah down agin." He flicked his lone ear in her direction as a goodbye and headed over to the alpha.

"Siryessir?"
