So, I'm trying to work on a map here, and as I've seen here, people are having it crash when they try to change the terrain file. Old maps with other terrain files load fine, however, if I change it, it simply crashes.
I've tried using older versions of FH, but I accidentally updated my laptops FH, and reverting to older versions, as well as FH+ still causes the problem. Because of this, I have reason ton believe it is a problem with the OGRE engine files used to run FH.
The fault causing the crash is always either shown to be the Executable itself, or some file called "libstdc++-6.dll"
Event Viewer (http://feral-heart.com/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=2&jfile=index.php&topic=16259.0) provides the following information of one such crash.

Are there any versions of FH that people are sure are stable and can run the editor correctly?

I am having the same problem :/
On the map maker does your terrain come up as random black "splodges"?

It instantly crashes once the program tries to parse the filename.
