Well, I've had this problem since back in early august or so. I think it was v1.09, and FeralHeart began to make my computer crash after playing it for thirty minutes to an hour. I'd always have to be careful how long I played, or else everything would shut down. Because of that, I couldn't make maps; I was afraid that all the progress would be lost. I tried to solve the problem by using the trick that puts FeralHeart on the second core of the dual core processor, but that ended up making everything worse, including lag.
I stopped playing FeralHeart until just recently, because I found a cooling pad for my laptop and thought that maybe FeralHeart would finally work-- I always thought that it shut down due to overheating... But, sadly, it doesn't. >.< I don't know what's wrong with this computer; it would always work fine throughout the Summer with FeralHeart, and it's super new. My smaller NetBook computer never crashed like that with FeralHeart, but of course it was extremely laggy and the game would stop working a lot. The only games I've ever had on this computer are FeralHeart, ImpressiveTitle, and one smaller game that takes up virtually no space on the hard drive.
I'm not sure exactly what it does. When I start the computer back up, it doesn't explain what happened, but it says stuff about if the computer shut down to protect data, then has the option of safe mode and everything.
What I'm wondering is: Is it just a problem with my laptop? Or was there something in an update that changed some way that the game works? And is there a way to fix it? D:

it was most likley your laptop i never had that problem with v1.09

Ah, shoot. >.< Thanks anyways. Maybe I'll be able to play the game when I get a new computer.
