So I was dowloaded a map the other day and I was moving files but wasn't entirely sure where they went but went ahead and moved em '^^ anyway, FH will not work now D: is this because i moved something wrong? Plz help :C

Remove the maps you added and the files for it, try to restart the game and see if it works.
If it still doesn't start up, go into the the particles folder laying inside the media folder. Look for particles that ends with the name _01 _02 etc. And delete them if you have, since you cannot have doublets by these.
If that still doesn't work try a change of the rendering mode inside the ogre.cfg.
If that doesn't work uninstall the game completely, then install it again without adding these maps.
-
Still not working :C
-
If your FH used to work, it should work after a reinstall.
Make sure you delete all of the content inside C:\FeralHeart before installing the game again.

I installed and deleted every but its still not working :C it wont even go to the Kovu sign anymore

What about this?
If it still doesn't start up, go into the the particles folder laying inside the media folder. Look for particles that ends with the name _01 _02 etc. And delete them if you have, since you cannot have doublets by these.
If that still doesn't work try a change of the rendering mode inside the ogre.cfg.
For the last part open the ogre.cfg inside the feralheart folder with notepad, change the top row of the text document so instead of OpenGL rendering subsystem it should say Direct3D9 Rendering subsystem.
-
There's nothing that says ogre.cfg :C im sry for being such a handful
-
if you open your computer, then enter the C drive, then enter the FeralHeart folder.
You will see various files listed within it.
There's one file that is called "Ogre", and if you look on the right side it will show that it's listed as a cfg file. If you never opened them before, you need to double click them, then choose a program from the list and select notepad.

Ok finished that ^^ know what? Thx for helping btw ^^
-
try
change the top row of the text document so instead of OpenGL rendering subsystem it should say Direct3D9 Rendering subsystem.
or if that is set, try the option that is not in it from the start, save the notepad, and try the game again.
I still get a feeling that you must reinstall completely still though, cause if it's the map fault, and you remove all FH content and install fresh, the issue never exists, it just can't.
-
ok how do I completely uninstall FH?
-
Just go to your computer.
C:\FeralHeart
Remove that folder and the things in it. once that's done reinstall the game with a working game setup.
Just don't forget to make backups of things you want to keep like maps and presets, but also keep in mind, do not add them back into the game right away if you do keep things. Only do it after you tried the game to see if it works. That way you'd be able to pinpoint if it's one of your things that causes the game to crash.
-
ok! :D it seems to be working ^^ now I just gotta get my maps back and inspect the issue further :) Thx SO much Red CX I would have never figured this out alone ;D
Thx, charmermew
-
No problem, just let me remind you I wrote in the very first post this
If that doesn't work uninstall the game completely, then install it again without adding these maps.
And by the "still not working" we went on for yet another page. Always make sure you do it all as suggested.

oh I didbut I uh... accidentally downloaded the patch instead '^^ It's great now though :D Thx again ;D
