Anyways, long story short. I downloaded Feral-Heart on my dad's laptop since my old computer had died. When I got onto it, the African Grass texture was in every single map I went to. Also, when I had tried to turn the water reflection on, it didn't work, though I had restarted the game. Any solutions, guys?

There is really no solution to this, you could try re-installing, sometimes it helps.
-
Also I forgot to mention that the laptop acts weird and thinks that almost everything, even uninstalling, has a virus in it, though it doesn't. >.>

Well, how about you try to re-install again. Though, now back up your files, delete the folder, etc.
But restart your computer before you download and install it again? I doubt that it's going to work,
but I think it's worth a shot.

Hmm...never mind, got some help from another person who had the issue. But thanks!
-
Could you please share the help you received? There are a lot of people with this issue who would like to know how to get this fixed. I would very much appreciate it.

I'm getting the same problem!

I have the solution for the African Grass showing up in every map, where they shouldn't. Just go to Options > Video > Rendering Subsystem > Click on OpenGL. Then restart your game. This might fix the Water reflection, though. Not sure.
I hope that helped.

That is most likely the optimal solution for people who's computers run OpenGL well, but what if Direct3D9 is the only way to keep the game from crashing upon start up?
From what I read in the other threads, I'm just gonna have to suck it up?

It happened on my other computer. It always lagged, and it ALWAYS had African Grass. It was annoying, but ever since I got my new laptop (The one I am typing on right now), the game's African Grass problem is fixed. The African Grass "glitch" depends on how old\new your graphics card is. I hope this helps! :)
-
So this means... You need to restart your computer after re installing? Or, we need to get a new graphics card?
-
So I just have an old Graphics Card??? I didn't know that, because I have two computers. Both are Dells, aka Windows XP are both. I have african grass all over, and none of the shading shows up. I know my pc isn't that old, maybe 4 years? Please help!

Please do not necro-old threads, as this was in 2012.
