Title: Help needed with particles!

So I've been trying to use particles for the longest time but I just can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be appriciated <3

Well i dont really know what you need help with exactly. I find particles difficult to load in Object Maker sometimes. What problems are you having trouble with?

I downloaded some particles from a forum post yet they never work. It gets kind of annoying.

What particles though? What is the name of the files in the download?

Ehem. Download The Particles, If it is a Zip, Open it. Copy everything but the readme, And go to C:/FeralHeart/Media/Particles After going there, Hit paste. Now restart the FeralHeart game itself, Go into objectMaker, Click EffectMaker, Click Particle, And type the exact name of the Particle. Say you downloaded a fire, called Fire.particle, Then you would put Fire into the box.

No, thats not the same with all particles. Some yes others no, for example the firefly particle you dont type in firefly but up, down, east, west ect at the end.

THey say "cannot find X particle"

Ah that, i downloaded the salmon pack it came with frogs, starlings and tuna. Did you read the ReadMe it came with?
Everything goes into the particle folder images, material files, particles files. In Object Maker go to EffectMaker then go to the Particles tab.
Now some particles you type the same as their .particle file. Well that is what you type for these, for the frogs you type Frogs

Frogs= Frogs
Albacore tuna= AlbacoreTuna
Salmon= Salmon
Starling swarm= StarlingSwarm

This is for the salmon pack since i dont have the others you downloaded. You get what im saying here?
I also made this tutorial on how to get particles up if you cant figure out what to type in Object Maker.
