I've been playing around with the items, trying to make my own items. I finally found out how to but I have noticed that some ramdom players running around with my items online. I know this is a glitch I just wanted to say something about it. Another silly thing that has happened to me while talking to some people is this http://saphire15.deviantart.com/art/HA-You-ARE-in-a-bubble-281014337 (http://saphire15.deviantart.com/art/HA-You-ARE-in-a-bubble-281014337.).
The wolf is me and I didn't even know that I was inside of a yellow ball, another player who did see this took the snapshot and showed me. Lol
I hope they get this glitch fixed soon. :-\

Did you change any of the default item files? If you modified an existing item, anyone wearing the original one will appear to have the one you made!
The link is broken, so I don't know what to say about the second issue.
-
Nope, I didn't delete the default item. When I do see people with a odd item on them I would go and ask if they were using a item and they will usually say that they are not wearing anything.
-
You probably changed somethign you shouldn't have changed...probably best to re-install
-
I'll give it a try but I'm confident that this is somesort of glitch.
-
When it is happening to only you, after messing with files you don't know much about, it can be called a glitch....but you caused it yourself O_o
-
but it was happening with the person how took the snapshot of me two. )=
otherwise she wouldn't have said anything.
-
As I said earlier, your snapshot is broken. Hard to be able to tell you anything related to it

Items work exactly like markings. If the two people have two different sets of items, they will see the other player as wearing on that's on their own list. If that slot on the list is empty, they won't see any item.
ex:
player 1 has the default hat, a set of horns, and a bubble in their list.
player 2 has the default hat, a bubble, a tutu, and fangs in their list.
player 3 has the default hat in their list.
if player 1 is wearing the horns, player 2 will see a bubble and player 3 will see nothing.
if player 2 is wearing the tutu, player 1 will see a bubble and player 3 will see nothing.
if player 3 is wearing the hat, everyone can see it.
-
So is it the order that the items are in is what effects who can see it?
-
Yes, the order YOU have your items listed in versus the order the OTHER person has them in. If you have the exact same list in the exact same order, you both should be able to see each others items just fine, at least, thats what I am figuring based on what Hammy has said.
-
Alright thank you much for the help.
I got another question thought, non-related to items. Do you know the sizes you are able to make terrain hight maps without crashing the game?
-
(Y x 2) -1 where Y is your initial map size.
ex:
(513 x 2) - 1 = 1025
(1025 x 2) -1 = 2049
works in reverse as well
(Q + 1) / 2 where Q is your initial map size.
ex:
(1025 +1) /2 = 513
(513 +1) /2 = 257
-
@Hammy:
Well damn. That makes everything HIGHLY inconvenient when it comes to items.
-
That i just weird O.O

Thanks for your help hammy! ^^
