Title: Swimming Glitch
Post by: Password on February 12, 2012, 06:15:48 pm
Hullo everyone.....

Okay when I enter a map on FH whether it be one I downloaded or one I made myself, I swim in mid-air where there is no water. If a press R I rise until I can no longer see the map and it is driving me crazy! When I go into maps like flourite plains, and temple of dreams I don't swim, it's only custom maps.

It started when the map files changed in a patch or something... the same patch when lip-sync was introduced. I've tried re-downloading FH and the patches but nothing works. I would really like some help because I'm literally tearing my hair out. >:U

Thnx so much for taking the time to read o3o

Maybe, since it's only custom maps, you turned ocean on but you have it soo high that it covers the whole map. So instead of just water where you want water to be it is over the whole map. Try going into feralheart map maker, loading the feralheart map maker and turning off the ocean setting, then after saving it, go back into normal online feralheart, going into the map you edited and seeing if anything changed. (sorry probably very confusing).

hope i helped.

Easy fix "should" be to remove the game completely and reinstall the game with a new installer from our download page.

Take note that you must delete everything from the C:\FeralHeart Folder before you install the game again, otherwise something still might lay around and cause this to happen again.

My guesses are something similar to the response above, you edited around with the ingame files and somehow the waterplane in all maps is now much much higher than the standard value. If you remove all FH content and install the game again with a new installer, you will have the very same game as everyone else, thus it shouldn't exist anymore.
