Title: How do I make a map?!

I've been searching and searching and searching through the help boards and the tutorials, but nothing is helping me figure out how to make a map??  What I did was download Gimp, and, with the help of someone's tutorial, made a grayscale image of what I want my map to look like.  But now I can't figure out what to do?!  Please help me, I'm am really very frustrated >:(

OK, I'll try to explain (I only know this because I was looking over the forums anonymously wanting to make an account, but I couldn't because my email was down).
Anyways, here's what you do. First you calm down and take a break, or just relax for a bit. The probability of success will increase C: Next, you open the 'Start' Window and go to 'My Computer.' Then you go to the Windows C Drive and open the FeralHeart folder and go to 'media' then go to 'terrains.' Simply drag your height map there. After you've done that go onto FeralHeart, then go to Map Maker Tool, go onto Terrains, then type in your height map's name. Click on a different tab, and the changes will appear. Hope I could be of help  ;). If you need any more help just ask I'll try to find a specific video on it.

man noting is helping am having the same problem too cause it BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! do i need to make a map (not to have a black screen!!) :*(

xD Type 'FeralHeart Height Map' in Google and click on the 1st Youtube vid. Thats what helped me learn how to make maps. :D

Thanks Kitsune!  That's exactly what I needed, short and simple :D  It's working now.

I'm glad I could be of help :D. Wait, I forgot to put, when you enter your map into the terrains map maker tab, remember to click on another tab, NOT press return-that could crash FH.
