Make a avatar by drawing one from a art program (like paint.NET, gimp) And upload it to a image sharing site (like tiny pics and imageshack) if this is confusing you then I'll tell you how to make a avatar the easiest way.

Art programs (there all free but I think photobucklet costs money so it's best to chose these two)

Wait, meh can help! (I'm a helper 2day, lawl!). At least if what you mean by 'avatar' was profile picture/signature.

Step by step instruction for Signature:

1). I know this was said, but I'm starting from the beginning. Get a digital art program-I recommend GIMP from gimp.org. .ORG. No seedy websites. It is completely free of charge and viruses (I would know I have GIMP), but if you don't want to download something, I'd recommend going to sumopaint.com. Free to use, no download.

2). OK, once that's done, make sure you're drawing is the way you want it to be, then save to your computer. Open up tinypic and upload it, then copy the image address (the one with brackets around the letters: IMG, like so [IMG])

3). Go to your profile under 'show new replies to your posts' in the left corner under the "Hello,-" *insert your name here* the small bar, and click profile. Then click 'Forum Profile Information" on the left side bar. Then go your signature and paste the image there.

Step by step for Profile Picture:

Repeat Step One, drawing what you want for your signature.

2). Upload to tinypic and copy the URL, not the image address. Then go back to the same place you changed your signature and go to the Profile Picture section. Check the box for 'I have my own pic,' and then paste the image URL there.

You still need to do that. Just adds two more steps step, though.

New steps:
1). Look up your image that you want.
2). Drag to your desktop
3). Do the rest of the earlier mentioned steps

.Gifs (moving images)? Oh, there are two ways to do that. Either the google search way, the same as the pics or this way:

1). Go to Gifsoup.com or click on my .gif to teleport there
2). Make an account, then click on 'create a gif.'
3). Copy and paste the youtube URL/address for the video you want to make a gif out of
4). When you're done, scroll down and click 'Finish,' then wait until it loads
5). Now copy the image option that says "For Forums and Message Boards", and go to your Profile-->Forum Profile Information-->Signature
6). Paste the .gif URL and now it's there C:

Either that, or I can make a .gif for you. Just give me the YouTube URL and the Start and Ending times for the .gif. It has a range of 15 seconds. Or you can search up the topic of your .gif and repeat the regular image instructions.

here sorry if im doing this but all you need to do when you find the avatar you like his click on it and scroll down the page there is the url thing for the avatar copy it paste it delete the url thing for glitter graphics than wala!

You just copy and paste the URL into the sections to put your avatar/siggy. For example, copy and paste something that looks like this: (http://dl2.glitter-graphics.net/pub/549/549952px1kmho4sn.gif)  (http://www.glitter-graphics.com) (not exactly, but you get the idea).
If you mean where to find it, there should a box that says, "Copy and paste for forums or profile pictures," or something to that effect.

if u dont find it do this:

1. goto your profile where it says: Forum Profile Information
click it then you will goto your profile.

2. scroll down the page after the first section then you will see all of this:

   I have my own pic: _____________
Specify your own avatar by URL. (ex: http://www.mypage.com/mypic.gif (http://www.mypage.com/mypic.gif))
   
   I will upload my own picture: __________

in this case you would upload your own picture (underlined one)

3. click the upload button find your picture that is between 100 width & 100 height.

4. once you found you file click it push open and the URL should be in the box by:  I will upload my own picture

5. After all that you will scroll all the was down the page to where it says: "Change profile" press it and it shall be there:)

Not the URL from the website, the URL of the picture, it should be there when you click on the image/.gif in a white box labeled: For Forums and Chat Rooms:[url =http://=http://(insert image url here)](insert image url here)] =http://(insert image url here)](insert image url here) [url]

I'll give you a link to a detailed tutorial, just give me a second to find one.

It includes all the details, and I tried to make it as simple as possible, because it is pretty simple once you get the hang of it. All the images were made in the same way signatures and avatars are and edited by me C:
