Hexed Pack is a brand-new “realistic fantasy” wolf pack open to new roleplayers willing to learn and experienced ones alike. Our goal is to create a rich roleplaying experience for all who wish to join and to create a non-realistic roleplay without all the godmodding,powerplaying,and character controling!
What is realistic fantasy, you may ask? Well, it means that even though there is an abundance of "Unrealisticnes"(lawl) in this roleplay, it is bound by certain rules and limitations (which is one measure used to prevent godmodding,powerplaying,chara controling,etc etc). It also means that, aside from their curses,they act much like regular wolves but from time to time otherwise.
What are Hexed Wolves?
Well there not just Hexed,theres Baned(bane) AND Hexed(Hex) wolves. Hexed wolves are the ones who have been cursed for eternity and cannot die,and the Baned are wolves who have been cursed for a week,month,and to 2 or 6 years. Blained cannot die until there blaine has ended. The difference is the period of time cursed. (App. Hint: You should include how you where bane/hexed.)
The Looks of a Regular Member
As you guessed,hence the name,they are wolves. They come in the colors of reds,blues,black,grey,tints of white,maroon,some greens,and some,but not all,yellows. Their markings come from two catagories,basic and Mass Markings Pack.
Basic: Stripes,Spots,Snake,Chimeras,practially any of them :3
M.M.P: Orbs,Stars,Tounge,Bands,Gloves,Points,again,practially any of them x3
The eyes can be any of them that stand out from the eye base. Example: More glow,Glow slit. The eyes are always a opposite color from the pelt,markings,underfur,or tail tip. The most popular is pure red or pure yellow,but geet creative and go crazy! As for loners,they have a difficult time living,most are VERY thin,scrawny,and some are VERY mangy.
Behavior
Due to some of their lives on the line 24-7, most value what they have. They can be selfish or aloof, but not for long. Loners have a very difficult time staying alive(as metioned in looks). In the past, packs acted much like “normal” wolf packs and had ranks such as Alpha, Beta,delta,warrior,med,apprentance,warrior,yell,shaman,scout,hunter,feastli,and member. Those ranks of course still stand. The pups and pregnet members are just refered as members. When they send off hunting parties,they try and choose hexed wolves and still baned wolves to stay stronger. Of course, every wolf is an individual and won’t always.
have these behaviors.
Diet
The wolves normaly eat like any other wolf,yet some do eat fruits. When they do eat fruits its normaly used by the feastli to spice up a meal or to hold wolves over until feasting time. Basing on the seasons is what they hunt. For example,in spring,birds,fish,squirrels,deer,and other spring time game is what is hunted. In winter,deer,cotton tail rabbits,and birds. In summer it is open game,they hunt what is there,most game is out in the summer. Finnaly,in fall,deer,rabbits,birds,squirrels,chipmunks,and other small game is hunted. A favorite is fish and deer.
Mating,mates,and pups
They have no real mating season,they mate normaly in the time when the pups are born in warm weather when food is plentiful. The two mates are mated for life until parted by death. The only time a wolf can seek a different mate is if their mate has died or they are seperated for a good reason,wich must be brought to the alphas. If the alphas do not agree with each other at the time,the mates will stay mates until the alphas conclude with their desicion. If the alphas conclude with they cannot seperate,the mates must work out the reason. If they conclude that they can seperate,they are no longer mated.
(Even then, many wolves enter a grieving period, depending on the circumstances.) Their gestation period is 1-2-1½-2 ½ months, during which they generally remain in a “Queen's Den” until their pups are old enough to begin their training.
The average litter size is 3-5 pups, but more or fewer or more isnt uncommon,but more than 7 is VERY rare.
The wolves are born with faint markings but full eye color. (if underfur is a different color,that is faint as well)
If a Hexed wolf and Baned wolf mate,strangely,the pups have some hexed,some baned,and shockingly,at least 2 normal wolves that arnt hexed OR baned.
Lifeline/Lifespan
The average Baned wolf can remain immortal until the bane wears off,then they age like a normal wolf would and are considerd "Liaok" (lee-aie-oh-ck) >See vocab< wolves. Hexed wolves are forever immortal and cannot die unless there hex has been removed by the one who hexed them or removed by a "Misala" >see vocab<.
- Birth: Pups are almost completely dependent on their parents and pack, relying on them for food and protection.
- 1 Month/Month 1/2: Pups begin to become a bit more independent but still rely on their parents to fulfill their needs. They can begin eating solid food.
- 2 or 3 months: Pups begin their training. Usualy with another hexed/baned/Lioak
- 1 year: Usually, this is when trainees “graduate” and become full members of the pack.
- 2 or 3 years: the wolf is ready to mate around this time.
- 15 years: the wolf is now an elder or aged shaman(basing on rank)and now has a coice to hunt or fight.
Vocab
Hexed: Permenately cursed wolf
Baned: Temporaily cursed wolf
Lioak: A wolf whose bane has worn off
Misala: A time when something "holy" happens is a Baned wolf's life that takes off the bane
Aanasia: A event when there is the sacred red moon,usualy signals the Inicha festival.
Inicha Festival: Also called "Festival of the Red Moon". It is a very sacred festival when every member of the pack must gather in the meeting place or feild(alphas choose) that celebrates the gift of life.
Red Moon: It signals Aanasia and the Inicha Festival. It occurs every 4 weeks(weekend).

--About your wolf--
Noted to be as emotionless as a statue peering down, Fawn has a heart of utter stone when first approached. Her plum orb eyes pierce the very soul of any those who dare offend her, her wrath relentless and horrid. Fawn knows she is not perfect, but telling her that might end up with your heart in her stomach. Though when you scratch at the walls of her heart Fawn can be found to be a loyal and truthful companion, not just able to heal, but to love. When found past her hard walls she cares deeply for you, wanting to keep you as close as possible, never wanting you to leave her, or for you to be hurt in anyway.
--Some History--
Fawn was born to a rouge mother and a pack father, their love unbound by the laws of wolf kin. She grew up knowing not everyday she was guaranteed a meal or even the soft fur of another or the love of a parent. When Fawn was within pack boards she was often beaten by other mothers threatening her father to tell the alphas. Fawn grew bitter from this, her father never trying to change what was going on. Growing to maturity her mother showed her the world and all its blessings and curses. Being exposed to these elements, Fawn grew to know and love the plants of the land, able to brew up many combinations of healing salves and pastes for any number of wounds and sicknesses. Fawn found herself restless, being let loose made her want to act. To do some thing.
She went rouge returning to her mother, her mother showed her to the life of a loner. Hard, timeless, and horrid. Fawn found herself enjoying it, the action, the romance, and the thrill made her jump for joy. Till she was Hexed.
Fawn found herself with her blood-brother in too much of a fight with an unusual pack, their eyes more twisted, their minds more experienced, and when called upon they spoke of the Hex. Fawn wasn't going to stand for mere 'fairy tales' and lashed out. The alpha, Rig, saw potential in the young wolf and decided against killing her, but to show her that of immoralities love and hate.
Rig took her blood-brother, Para and beat him to a bloody pulp till his eyes shown barely the light of life. Rig took the blood from Para's dripping heart and slapped Fawn's face with it. The blood stung her eye, the taste of iron dripping into her mouth, the foul feeling that she was no longer whole. Rig stared at Fawn, her eyes had warped vision because of the colors flowing into it. Though it could not hold back the flames from appearing around her.
"To live forever is to take the life of another," the fire seemed to speak, hissing into her ears like hot wind.
She wanted to howl out for help, to lie down and whimper, it was like pain but no reaction. It was like within the stories her mother used to tell her to frighten her from going out alone. The fires of hell licking your paws, the eyes of pain its self piercing your soul, and the jaws of oblivion at your throat. It is indescribable, yet her mother knew. Words were slithered into her ears, none that she knew, but it sounded like the crackling of fire, her heart seemed to burst within and the world rushed up to meet her face.
When she awoke, she though it was a dream, but to see the mangled carcass of her blood-brother laid out before her, his rib bones exposed. They had eaten part of him, or she had. The image scarring her eyelids like molten etchings. She looked away only to find her legs burned with symbols she had never seen. She couldn't walk for what seemed like hours, the blood of her heart boiled pumping with fire. The wolves back at camp talked seemingly casting out the cast away, Fawn was confronted by one of the more experienced members and was told she was Hexed. She lashed out in rage and fear hitting the wolf with a fatal blow to the face and a snap at the throat. When finally put down by several members of her tribe she was exiled. Fawn did not understand she didn't feel any different, maybe more bitter and heart broken but she lived just as any other. It took many months for the scars to heal, emotionally and physically. She had noticed a difference in her pace and how wounds seemed to disappear completly, even her scars faded back into her skin like they were never there. A year went by and she noticed that not even age affected her any more, defying that of the laws of nature.
--Short RP sample--
"I hear them getting closer," whispered the white wolf, his red eyes bright in the darkness of night.
"Hush, Para," snapped Fawn the blueish tint from her fur glinting in the faint moonlight, "we get them when they pass over the hills."
The pack members, few in number, passed over the rolling hills tracing little trails as they passed by. Fawn snarled startling one of the younger ones, the two jumped from their hiding spot cutting off the trio of wolves. They were unforgiving looking, their eyes piercing the few that still stood tall, the growls from their throats like thunder on the horizon, and the fur on their bodies, ruffled and dirty, as if wet paper to their boney bodies. Fawn snapped her jaws together to frighten them, she stood taller then the experienced wolf. She breathed out, the cold air turning it into a fine mist.
"So far from home... I wonder what brings you to trespass, food? You won't find a scrap," Fawn said slowly a cold smile forming at her lips. Para snapped at the ankles of one of the younger ones, it yelped as if it was dieing and Para let out a low laugh, how innocent they were, "You'll only find the remains of those how dared take OUR food, you are encouraged to pick at the bones of your fallen comrades."
Sorry for the slightly "dark" RP sample, i just found it some what fitting to the situation. If you want a more full RP sample, don't be afraid to PM.

I love the way your wolf seems to fit the pack theme. I dont quite understand HOW she was hexed or WHO hexed her... Also,my plan is for them to show me the picture if i approve of everything else. So if you are to change that,plaease do include her picture. :3
When i see the picture i will tell you what should be changed and if anything. Needs to. I will be adding when we rp. Ill assure you it will be on weekends so be prepared! :D

Its a little mehh, I would assume that most wolves wouldn't truly have complete recollection of what was happening till some one explained.
I don't really have a direction with it, so thats why it might be a little, sketchy? Not developed fully, but it will as we progress through out the RP.

She looks good,but the marking color is abstract from the rest of the fur,and the eyes do not meet the eye color standard. The color of the pelt,eyes and hair is fine,the underfur and marking color,not so much. Just fix underfur,marking,tailtip color and what the eyes are,and your good to go.

Ya know on second thought, this outline is a little strict.
And was not stated at first, so i feel like im degrading my chara by changing her.
I understand it is a realistic RP, but it was not made clear what colors, how realistic, or very many guide lines as to what/who my character should look like.
Im sorry, but this RP, just isn't for me. I was fine with the first edits, but my character is my character. And unless it is stated black and white how realistic or unrealisitc my wolf can be I don't think i can change my character.
Im sowwy, and i hope i didn't sound harsh or mean in anyway.
It is a fantastic Idea, but i am discouraged by the strictness of the colors.
Because the second i have to change what my chara looks like, i feel like its not my wolf any more. That its some one elses design.
Please dont be discouraged by my opinion!! This can be a wonderful and indepth RP with the right people!!

Ahh, maybe i was being a little drama queen though.
This was the only RP i saw that i really wanted to get in on, so when my chara couldn't be her i was shot in the heart.
Imma stay cause it was an innocent little incident. Plus you were really cool about me sayin that, i was worried you were gonna blow up on me.

Hey yeah the wolf on my pic is my main chara on flipnote hatena. My Hexed pack wolf is Hexallia shes kind of abstract. you CAN use purples and blues,and crud. Its just the RP thats realistic,the pelts arnt. seeing as its a "realistic fantasy".
