Well i decided to make some items last night. So what i did was import either the feline or canine mesh into Blender and began creating an item on it. My first mesh was finished so i deleted the model and exported it. I loaded Preset Maker and tried on the item and it was the exact same size and angle as the one in Blender which was great.
So i made another item using the model and program once again. I loaded it in Preset Maker and it was the wrong size, it was huge! I dont get why its different to the first. So i shrank it and exported it again and its the same size still. No matter how much i shrank it in Blender it would still turn out the same size as the first, huge and useless.
What can i do?

if you go to the Items.cfg file you can correct the size using codes :) im not exactly sure how though.. try reading the item tutorial xoxo

This used to be a common problem with making items for me. As far as I know, it was never fixable, and I'm not sure why..

Despite this thread being over two years old I found the solution quite a while back.
I had to set the scale/rotation to the object when I was done and it turned out the right size in-game.
