Title: MAPS!
Post by: SoulHunter421 on March 10, 2012, 03:20:28 am
One day i was downloading maps my friend made. I put everything where it needed to be, reseted FH, and went into Cape. I saw portals in there and they all had the names of the maps. But when i go in the portals it says: FeralHeart.exe has stopped working and looks for a sullition to the problem. This happens with other maps too. PLZ if you know what is wrong, plz tell me!    :-[

You may have placed a file in the wrong place, or one of the files wasn't downloaded.  I've had this happen to me once with a weather file.  What else does the message say?  Most of the time, it'll tell you right in the message what's wrong.

I also am having a problem like that, I downloaded it completely and when I go into the portal it tells me map server has stopped responding, or whatever it says. It was placed correctly in my exports, one map will work and not the other, and other people in the group can get in it. Any solutions? ^^

Yes, you have to make sure you put all folders in the correct place.  If others can get into the map, you have made a mistake.  Delete the map, then try placing the files in the correct spots.

I have tried multiple times and I placed them in the exports folder...Ill try again. The thing is it worked for a couple days then when I went back on it stopped working.

What type of files are in download? Sky files, for example, go in a different place than a music.cfg file does. Depending on where you put them, it may be causing it to crash. It also may just be that your computer simply cannot handle the maps you download.

You may want to try uninstalling and then reinstalling if you are 100% positive that your files are where they should be.
