Title: Game wont play, need patch?

I've downloaded and installed Feral Heart+ to my win7 64bit computer and I've had two issues.

First, my desktop graphics look very strange and need a computer restart in order to fix them. (I had the same problem with Free Orion not long ago) (But this is a minor problem as far as I can tell the ingame graphics look okay)

But my major problem is I just installed and tried to log in and play, it says I need to download the patch. Okay, so I do. Install the patch and try again, but it refuses to work, so all I can look at is the main menu. Am I missing something?

You need to uninstall FH+ and get a new download, then install from the new download.

Tried that too.


I uninstalled FH+, Then installed normal FH, then FH+ (in seperate folder as it was instructed) and still, nada. Regular FH works out just fine, but FH+ when I try to play, the menu comes up, I click log in, it says connecting to front server and then stops to say 'You must download the patch'.

yes, I got both downloads from the torrent (FH and FH+) :/ just not sure what the heck Im doin wrong.

Hi do u want FH or FH+
If u want FH u need to download the Game setup and also the Game Patch
If u want FH+ u need to download the game on the very bottom and then download Game Setup

Do not download FH+ at this time, a new update for it has been announced with a fixed installer. Until then i don't recommend using the currently released version.
