Title: A 'monitor shadow' issue?
Post by: Zarago on March 11, 2012, 12:41:13 pm
A 'monitor shadow' issue?

So, yarr, today I switched on my computer as normal, and these shadows come up after every letter and icon. I didn't think that FeralHeart would have this problem, but it did, and even the freakin' trees have shadows. Could anyone help me solve this issue? Or at least tell me what the problem(s) could be?

Thank ye' in advance. It is extremely irritating and I want to have it fixed.

Have you tried re-isntalling? A screenshot would also help.

Nu, I have not tried re-installing because the shadows aren't just on FeralHeart. They're on everything. I also remembered that I downloaded Mozilla Firefox yesterday, so perhaps I could of overloaded my computer? Anyway, I unistalled it, but it had no effect.

Murr, here's (http://oi44BannedImageSite/24xngh1.jpg) the screenshot.

It's off 'Dragon Cave' where it seems to show up the worse because of the colours. It's the clearest example of my problem. Clearer than on FeralHeart itself.

From the image you provided i honestly dont see any shadow appearance ^^; not that you arent seeing it, just maybe its your Actual monitor, a light could be out, or a dent in screen i know happens at times to cause a improper shadow effect (Works at a electronic store so i deal with this alot)

Main problem is how its hooked up as well, if it is a desktop and hooked up by VGA ur cord could be simply loose or breaking~ Double check all your cords are properly secure and try again

You can also change the refrsh rate on your computer. Right click on your desktop, click on properties, then choose the settings tab. Now press advanced, then click the monitor tab. Change the refresh rate
