Title: Preset ideas - I NEED YOUR HELP!

Hey all,
I want to improve my preset-making skills and decided to make a one.
The thing is I have NO idea how it shall look like... Can you post me some links of some fantasy-like canines?
I always wanted to make an unrealistic preset, but please not too colorful.
I need some ideas for the markings. MAYBE Ill make it public :)

I always find it's easier to work on a project if I'm more enthusiastic about it. What sort of stuff are you into??
Even if it's something odd like pencils (idk waaaaaaat?!?!), putting it into a preset should make for an interesting idea.

Not trying to brag, but use this as an example, the first preset I made was a "wooden construct" simply because I wasn't sure how the texture map would look, and it would be a good reason to look at the edges of the wood pieces.

Hm... Well what if you tried a wolf, with like mabey a patch of fish scales on its back or side that are blue... And then you have a brown wolf, with a lighter brown underbelly? What'ya think? (has a crazy imagination) I just think the patch of fish scales are kewl :D dose'nt really matter what color
