Title: A Little Idea Based Off Of Lately.

OK so lately I've had problems connecting to the maps servers of some downloaded maps and I really don't want to remake the characters. (I think it might work later anyways.) SO I thought of an idea. What if you could go into the character editor and reset your characters home there to? That way if your stuck in a map you can just go back home instead! Since Lonely Cave is the new home I don't see how you could have problems with it! So you could just reset your home in the character editor and then you don't have to remake that character! I hope you guys like this idea because I certainly do! :)

Not a bad idea honestly.
Even though you can run around with a backup character checking maps, you can never be 100% you are going to avoid a stuck map even when it used to work. Being able to just reset your home back to something like lonely cave in char creations screen would save a lot of frustration among the users of FH.
Good idea which we should try to mention to kov.

I've thought of this idea once or twice as well It is a great idea to be able to choose where your character will show up. c:

@Galiou Well I'm glad I'm not the only one to think of this! And yes it would be nice if you could choose where characters show up. :)

Not sure if this is the case, but if you guys mean as in choose any map to spawn in, that I'm highly against since it would lower the thrive for exploration and traveling, instead users would just teleport out of pure laziness to get to the wanted map.
Fetching stuck chars would be one thing though.

This is an impressive idea! I would like to see this added to the game some day. I have thought of it a few times myself though, but never posted it myself.

@Red I meant for fetching stuck characters. :) I don't mind exploring despite Fluorite Plains and Bonfire make me lag big time and I try to stay away from those two maps I wouldn't ask for something to just take me where ever to get to a certain map. ;)
@Lugai Well I'm glad you like this idea maybe it'll be something Kov will add someday. :)

I think that is an awesome idea, but you should ONLY be able to re-set your home position.

Awesome idea it would save the trouble of having to remake your character every time you lose it in a map that doesn't seem to wanna work for yah.
