Just discuss whatever you want about Naru---- here. Personally, I'm a NaruKitsu fan, but with someone in the show, I'd have to say I'm one of the rare NaruSaku fans, even though I'm also a fan of SaiNaru/SasuNaru X3

NaruKitsu is yourself and Naruto, right? If that's the case then I'm not surprised that you are a NaruKitsu fan. XD Personally, I'm a NaruJen fan but like you said, with someone in the show (including the movies) I like NaruSaku, NaruAma, NaruShion and NaruSasu.

I like every Naru--- besides NaruHina, really X3. And yes, NaruKitsu is myself and Naruto, lol. I don't know why I have something against Hinata-she has good taste in men, but still...something about her and Naruto really piss me off. I tried to like NaruHina, but everytime I tried I just started sobbing pathetically. I'm so pathetic D:> I'm going to bed so I can watch Shippuden on my iPhone.

I understand what you mean. I also don't have anything against Hinata but to me I think she's too weak and shy to be with Naruto. To me she's like a sensitive flower and Naruto would be the sun that's so powerful it burns her whereas Sakura is a strong flower that is supported and kept alive by him. Plus, whenever he acts out of line she's willing to keep him in line with a good "monster strength" punch compared to Hinata who would never hit him. XD

I don't really like how Sakura always punches Naruto, but it's better than Hinata who is almost NEVER THERE for him. Besides, Sakura punching Naruto will make him stronger in the end, not to mention his faces being hilarious X3

XD That's true, but at least Sakura doesn't hit Naruto as much as she used to when she was younger. She hit him over the simplest of things back then. I'm surprised he doesn't have brain damage or something by now. xP

He already had brain damage..., but as you know, the Kyuubi makes him heal faster...
Although, if you think about it, Naruto is very clever-there's a difference between being clever and being intelligent/wise. He knows how to get things done.

I agree, but sometimes he has his dumb moments. xP Then again, that's probably why he's called the "#1 loudest, unpredictable and hyperactive knuckle headed ninja." You never know when he'll show his clever side.

He only shows his clever side when he's protecting someone or trying to catch up with Sasuke. Otherwise...bakadesu, which makes him the best! I'm tired of liking the mysterious, boring one! Time for a change and I like it!

XD I think most girls like the mysterious guys. I know I did. I mean, when I first started watching Naruto I loved Sasuke and thought Naruto was annoying. Only when Naruto was fighting Gaara was when I started to like and admire Naruto and in the episode when Sasuke stabbed Naruto in the shoulder with chidori was when I stopped liking Sasuke completely. After that I grew to love Naruto more and more and now he's my favorite anime character EVER! X3

When I First Started Watching Naruto-Crush=N/A
Naruto was my favourite character, though, even though I didn't have a crush on him in the least. He just seemed like a cool guy to hang around, even if he was a bit annoying.
When Sasuke-kun and Sakura-chan were introduced: Crush=Suspecting Sasuke, but I didn't for some reason...I suspected I would like Sasuke because I wanted a mysterious, dark-haired guy, but for some reason, it just wasn't clicking like I expected it too, in fact, he kind of pissed me off
In the Land of the Waves=Crush=Verging on Naruto
Ike, Naruto-kun! You're kicking some Zabuza ass!
In the Chuunin Exams: Crush=Naruto
He's kicked some ass and earned my repsect by now. I still like Sasuke, even though I don't have a crush on him.
When Sasuke Leaves: Sasuke you a-hole!
Etc, etc, pattern continues...I still like Part 1 sasuke though, but like I liked Naruto-kun at first.

Haha! Wow. xP Well, I'm the same as you when it comes to liking part 1 Sasuke. Part 2 Sasuke is just- Ugh... I hope Itachi is able to change Sasuke's mind when it comes to destroying Konoha and killing Naruto, but I highly doubt it will happen since Masashi-san has been planning Naruto and Sasuke's fight since the beginning of the series.

I really want Naruto to kick Sasuke's ass so bad.., but I know Kishi-sensei is a fan of plot twists, so I really am not so sure.....he's liked Sasuke a lot from the start D:
I'm scared now...if Sasuke-kun deafeats Naruto I think I might just go into Naruto and kill Sasuke-kun...I still am not that far in the series, even though I started watching it when it first came out, I stopped watching it for, like, two years until I decided I would watch it again...by then I had seriously lost pace...

That's true. Masashi-san is definitely a fan of plot twists but I don't think he will kill off Naruto. I mean, he is the main character after all. What episode are you on? I haven't watched Naruto for, like, a year now. >.>;

You mean the Akkipuden legend? I thought Kishi-sensei said he was wrapping up Naruto at the end of Shippuden. Although, it would be kind of cool to see Naruto as an ANBU. Even though I want to see him as Hokage-sama, think of how boring that would be....him sifting through papers and assigning missions, etc. Think of how often Tsunade-sama actually goes on a mission with someone..... When Naruto becomes Hokage, I think Kishi-sama should wrap it up

I agree that it would be boring to watch Naruto going through paperwork, assigning missions, etc., but I've read a few fanfics where Naruto is Hokage and they were really interesting. Masashi-san just needs to hire a few Naruto fans that write fanfics to come up with ideas for him. ;P XD
(Not at all. ^^ I prefer to call him "Masashi-san" since sama is too polite and it's usually said by restaurant waitresses, hotel staff, etc. to customers.)

(Ikr, no one uses the actual meaning of 'sama' anymore D: Probably because there really is no one really to call 'sama.' I usually call him Kishi-sensei, though.)
Anyways, about the fanfics I kind of agree with that, but I'd still rather see him as ANBU and for them to wrap it up in a few episodes after he becomes Hokage X3

Same here, but I don't think he's going to be ANBU. After this war is over and everything I think Tsunade is going to make Naruto the next Hokage. I mean, he's already fought plenty of S-rank criminals like an ANBU does so he already has the strength of a Hokage.

Yeah, but in the end I think Tsunade is going to ignore that fact and still make Naruto the next Hokage since he's proven he is worthy of the title. The only reason I could see that he wouldn't be allowed to become Hokage yet is because of the elders.

Actually, if they'd make some sort of "after-series" where Naruto is Hokage, I honestly can imagine some sort of early-series hilarity due to Naruto's character. Though, it would probably revolve around the graduating of new genin, and then focus on a specific new-gen genin or something, either having a similar background to Naruto and being shunned with people forgetting Naruto's background, or some sort of connection with Sasuke/Itachi (since Konoha still views Itachi as a traitor and Naruto promised to keep it a secret).
Either way, Naruto as Hokage would be sort of funny, in certain aspects.

---He'd have clones go to meetings
---He'd actually be good political wise and scare people with his strangely deceiving people skills
---Most common argument would be why he's never PHYSICALLY THERE when he's needed.
---He'd be eccentric and probably freak out new Genin on purpose (Imagine Iruka-sensei's face when the first prank to new genin is a false S-Ranked assassination mission but winds out being a twisted, planned out, "Retrieve Lady Sashimi's newly adopted kitten mission").

Exactly! In fact, all of those aspects except for the last one were in fanfics that I've read and they were really hilarious! XD I just hope Masashi-san will at least make an epilogue after Naruto Shippuden is over.

The most wonderful political tactic would be when he debates with himself in his office about some tough decision the council wants to push him to agree on, LOL.
Though, pairing wise, I don't really agree with any of them because I over-think them. Hinata would require some sort of political assistence because of the way the Hyuuga are, Sakura just...doesn't really fit anymore because most of the series has made Sakura a sort of "mission" for Naruto, and the rest just don't make sense. It'd have to be someone completely random or something.

Well, anyways, even though the elders are wise, Tsunade-sama is still the Hokage and her decision will most likely be to make Naruto-kun Hokage. Even though Kakashi-sensei is a good candidate it's not really his goal as far as I know and Naruto is stronger than Kakashi-sensei in some respects.

I was like "Interesting...now just get rid of Sakura and then it's MORE interesting," (I don't mind her, I just dislike her hair color).
It's fun to randomly debate on things though even though we know how it'll work. I don't even know how the shinobi system will work if there's some multi-village alliance, though considering that Grass/Waterfall/Rain (if it was a stabilized village by then) didn't appear to be a part of the alliance I could possibly see some sort of troubles with national politics/peace/stability meetings problematic for Naruto as Hokage.
Meh, I'm overthinking things again, aren't I? XD I'll shut up now.

Anyways, I also don't particularly care for Sakura-chan's hair colour, even if I do like her character X3 I do like the Stupid Sakura parodies, though. Even though I like her, those are just too funny X3. It isn't Sakura-chan's fault, that her Dad was the Easter Bunny, though....
Am I the only one who noticed that her parents never show up. Am I just rambling now?
P.S. Happy Easter, Sakura! I hope your Dad doesn't have too much work! Tell him to give me lots of presents!

I'm the same as you Kitsune when it comes to liking Sakura parodies even though I like her. NTAS (Naruto the Abridges Series) is one of my favorite parodies of Naruto and they make fun of Sakura most of the time. To me, somebody takes their favorite character way too seriously when they can't even laugh at parodies of their favorite character.
Oh, and did you two see the trailer for the new Shippuden movie? I think Naruto is going to be in the ANBU and either one or both of Sakura's parents are going to appear! =D

I had a traumatizing experience with pink, so I'm generally wary of it. If it isn't on a flower, I usually try to ignore it. (I'm just weird, that's all).

On the note of making fun of your favourite things, Naruto is one of my favourite characters to make fun of even though I love him with a passion (well, the passion of a thousand burning suns, but that's just chessy crap) X3. Although, I'd have to say it's the funniest to make fun of Sasuke just 'cos he tries to act cool all the time and really anything just sets me laughing X3 (like SasuNaru X3)

Yes it is a sexy voice, but it's also relatively creepy that both voice actors are women. How do they do that? LOL
:'D I like bothering all of the characters story-wise. It's just so much fun. Naruto's easy to fluster, Sasuke's easy to annoy (and would be quite a challenge to prank, I would say, though I think a whoopie cushion under the decorative pillows on a chair would work out just fine regardless of his age), and all of the other characters have some sort of peeve.
Though, if I had to be honest, I'd probably enjoy myself simply by using a Henge to take Itachi's appearance and hang around with Deidara for a day, what with how the guy hates Itachi and all (I would have so much fun. SO MUCH.)

It's not lesbian that I think his voice is sexy, right? That woman does have a very low voice. Most women I meet have rather high voices. My voice is pretty low, but not to the standard of a boy's. Can't he simply be voiced by a boy that is Naruto's age? That would make a lot more sense.
Also, the voice isn't really sexy in a womanly way, but I don't really know what a 'sexy' voice would sound like for a woman-I guess it varies.
Why am I talking about this?

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's higher than Naruto's. Takeuchi-san's voice sounds very much the same as Naruto's when she's not actually voice acting (thank you radio shows for that interesting insight, LOL), and Naruto's english voice actor usually played cute little animals that had high pitched voices. They probably change the pitch like how the vocaloids are voiced, I would think.
Speaking of which, every time I watch a Naruto episode (with the sound off) or read a story where Naruto's smarter/mellower than his canon counterpart, Len's voice is somehow assigned to his face. Weird. My cousin who's around the same age has a more suiting voice xD
All we need now is a parody or some sort of fiction where someone pranks Sasuke into inhaling helium and I'll be set for life.

@Kitsune: I have a pretty deep voice for a girl too but when I'm on a phone I sound like a little girl. XD Also, the reason why the anime voice acting industry doesn't have teenagers or children voice characters around their age is because: 1. Children usually don't pay attention like teenagers or adults do and for the anime voice acting industry time is money. The faster they can have the anime episode dubbed the better. 2. There aren't that many teenagers (if any) that are willing to spend a lot of time voicing a character for a couple years or more and even if they do they would need to have at least half a year of experience in voice acting. And 3. Since Naruto had a time-skip they couldn't have a young boy voice 13 year old Naruto and then hire a teenager for 16 year old Naruto. Their voices would be different and a lot of the fans wouldn't be happy about it (including me XD), so it's better to have an adult who can make their voice sound young and then if there's a time-skip they can make their voice more mature.
Besides, if you look at the anime voice acting industry I would say that 99.9% of the voice actors are adults and it's pretty common for a woman to be the voice of a young or teenage boy. In fact, the person who voiced Ash Ketchum from Pokemon was a female and Ranma Saotome's male side from Ranma 1/2 was also voiced by a woman too. That is, up until the last season or two then they changed the voice actress to Inuyasha's voice actor.
@Shusuke: Nah. They don't change the pitch of Maile Flanagan's (Naruto's English voice actress) voice like they do for Vocaloid. I know because I met her once and she did Naruto's voice right on the spot. The only time they changed the pitch of her voice was when Naruto went Kyuubi for the first time after he thought Haku killed Sasuke.
OMG that would be hilarious! Somebody needs to ask Yuri Lowenthal (Sasuke's voice actor) to breathe in some helium and then talk in Sasuke's voice. XD

It did take five or so years for Naruto to reach the time-skip anyway, so by then Part I would have had moments where Naruto's voice would have cracked from the kid's voice changing over the years and might not have been as clear as an adult voice actor's could have been.
And meh, they still change the pitch for stuff, LOL. Even if it's for a few seconds.
They have Sugiyama doing a squeaky voice on the radio show that you can listen and read on Youtube. The Sasuke Special episode 35 [part 2 or 2/2] has a recording of it. [It was absolutely hilarious for me when I first found it.]

Yeah, I know, but I would be so willing to voice one of them X3. I don't really think I could pull off Naruto, though, because when my voice is recorded it sounds like I'm five. I know my voice doesn't really sound like that, though because there's a trick to hear what your voice sounds like to other people (in person). Cup your hands over your ears (don't lay them flat, cup them over your ears, leaving space between your hand and your ear-this doesn't allow the sound to travel directly to your ears, changing the wavelength, blah blah blah science-y crap). Now speak-that's what your voice sounds like to other people in person.
Also, my question was rheotorical-I know why, it's pretty obvious. My voice doesn't sound like a boy's, so I couldn't voice Naruto, but I guess I could pull Sakura off. Also, about switching to a sixteen year old kid-they could still use the thirteen-year-old kid because your voice sounds relatively the same, especially since the voice actor would still be aging as the series progresses, making it actually seem a bit more realistic since their voice is getting deeper as they get older and time passes in the series, but it really is the corporation's choice-even though my heart breaks at the thought of Naruto being voiced by a woman.

I could probably get away with acting one of the guys from Naruto, or some sort of female character with a laid-back, I-don't-care attitude that will never exist. When I hide my hair under a cap people easily mistake me as a guy when I talk to them. My voice is much higher on the phone than it is in person.
Closest canon character I'll probably ever get would either be Ino or Temari.

Even if I put on a ball cap no one could mistake me for a boy if they were looking straight at me. I'll give you one guess why (and it's not my hair).
One time, though, in gym I had on a cap and had my hair tied back into a ponytail tucked into the gap in the back of my hat and when I was heading back to the girls' locker room, someone turned around and was about to say something, then said, 'Sorry, I thought you were a boy.'
I didn't respond...

I purposely let people believe what they wanted on April Fool's once. It was hilarious. It was during an activity/assembly sort of week too, so one of the parents that signed up to help took our names of those participating. They spelled my name in the boy spelling too. I didn't think my boyish clothing would be boyish enough to hide my feminine features so well for the prank to work. I had a field day.
And then everyone hated me for a while when they figured out I wasn't a guy. I didn't really care though (My entire family on my dad's side were terrible, terrible, pranksters. It's apparently genetic).
I remember when Naruto first aired, I sort of imagined pranking him and seeing if he'd actually freaked out. One of the houses I lived in had a large pine tree in the front, and my father and I had stuffed some clothing with leaves to make a dummy and tied it in the tree. We used to drop it on people during Halloween (one year there were some church advisors who were supposedly against pranks; they both howled like hyenas for a good fifteen minutes, and they were in their fifties!).
It might not have worked on Naruto, but I know it'd work on Sakura, Kiba and (to some lesser, eyebrow raising extent) Sasuke. Though, knowing him, he'd probably start laughing his head off too.
Man, I really want to prank someone now. Time to go make a prank scene in my working plot lines now.

I'm pretty good at pranks, I guess. I used to be a terrible liar, 'cos I always smiled, but now I'm a brilliant liar, thanks to homework :DD
I haven't actually really pranked anyone, but it would be so fun X3 We are pulling a prank on one of my annoying friends, writing her a fake love note and stuffing it in her locker or something. She's really annoying because she has this really petty girl laugh and tries to hand out with popular people to feel like she's popular. I'm not popular, but my friend is because she has a boyfriend who's popular X3. Ok, middle school is totally a hellhole. I came to that conclusion long ago.

When I'm by myself at school, I'm all quiet like Shino or Sasuke. When I'm with people I know, I'm all energetic and bouncy like Naruto. I even infect people with my randomness! :'D I'm so gifted.
I just realized that I'm the only girl that sits at my table amongst the small group of manga lovers in my current lunch block. Intriguing.
I listened to Hetalia Britain's "Pub and GO!" song and now it's stuck in my head...with Sasuke's face. Can someone help me? Because near the end he gets a high pitched voice and says "baka" thirty-one times in rapid succession and I can only think of Sasuke chasing Naruto around Konoha as if he stole something important and being increasingly frustrated.
Then when he says "Fish and chips!" I think of Sasuke tossing a bag in the air and Choji randomly just being...THERE...grabbing the chips or something. It's incredibly random and entertaining.
So much so that it scares me.

That's exactly how I am X3, just I'm trying to work on it. No one respects people who are mysterious and quiet in real life, lol. I'm always just the quiet girl who doesn't really raise her hand in class and doesn't speak a word. On the other hand, with my friends I'm in total innappropriate humour/sarcastic mode (hurray).

I guess I'm like an intelligent version of young Naruto, with a mix of Sasuke in there. I'm kind of ostricised in my class because, even when I talk to people they always say, 'What?' or just ignore me. When I do work up the courage to raise my hand, there's always a moment of awkwardness after it. Also, I don't usually use my common sense so almost every time I do open my mouth I end up sounding like a fool, even though I do learn fast and almost everything other than math comes easily to me. I'm trying to work on being more outgoing and talk to people more, and it's working. Even though a lot of people still think I'm a fool, I don't care. I'm not gonna get anywhere by being like Sasuke and brooding about how terrible school is and moping and being silent in school like an emo. I'm not an effing emo! Sure, I wear black in almost every outfit I have and like music in the minor key and have hair over my eye and hate the world and wish I had black hair...oh sh**. At least I don't cut myself...and I'm working on not being not being an emo....(I'm not gonna give up half of those things, but they're just stereotypes).
