I am fairly certain it is not an issue with your operating system...
You probably either were not able to extract them, or did not place the files properly

In an item download you will either receive 1. a compressed file pack, or 2. multiple downloads for separate files.  You need to make sure that the compressed file is decompressed into multiple files before you are able to place the files in their correct location. The reason for a compressed file is so that it does not take up a lot of space, and it is easy to transfer between computers because it is only one file until it is decompressed.

1.
If you received incompatible files (like .rar, or .zip) you will need a program similar to winzip (I'm not sure what the mac equivalent is) in order to decompress files. Once you are able to decompress the files, check out the instructions below for where to place the files.  EDIT: check out this application if you need to decompress files: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/7880/openup-x/ (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/7880/openup-x/)

2.
Otherwise, when you have .mesh, and .png files make sure that they are placed under feralheart/media/items . They not only have to be placed in the correct folder, but you also have to have the required code (specified by the person who provided the items, usually in a README file) which needs to be added to your items.cfg file under your feralheart folder.

I really hope you were able to understand that... Good luck.

Well, I can unzip them and Ill try what you said

EDIT:
I put all files(unzipped ones) into Feralheart/media/items but it wont work D:

the files need to be in the correct place, AND the items.cfg code has to be modified.
The items.cfg file is under the main feralheart the folder. The code that you need to add will be provided by the person distributing the files either in their post or in a README file.

If you have these two things in order, then I do not have another solution for you.

Follow this guide here: http://www.fileinfo.com/help/mac_change_program (http://www.fileinfo.com/help/mac_change_program)
to open the file up in notepad, textedit, or some other simple editing program equivalent so that you can modify the code.

That would be an issue with the files, or the coding itself (which would be the error of the distributor). Most likely though, the .png or .mat files which should have come with the file pack (which are the textures) you did not move into the items folder like the other mesh files. Another possible solution is just restarting the game if all the correct files are in the folder it should be able to figure out how to apply the textures to the meshes itself.

So do these things if you haven't  yet:
Restart the game
Look in the items folder and make sure every .mesh file has a matching .png and .mat file. (If not, just unzip all the files again in the correct place)
Confirm that you added all the necessary code to the items.cfg file

If all else fails, then I would message the distributor and tell them that the textures aren't working for you, and they will probably have a  more direct solution to the problem.

Ok, now they worked on the older FH version, thanks, would there be any way of working them on the newest one?

They should both work the same way, if you have both on your computer though, they will have separate file directories (C:Feralheart/media/items vs C:Feralheart+/media/items) . You want to add the files the same way you did to the older version. If you are just now upgrading and replacing the older version you want to keep the files where they are, and they should still work.

That was just in example, it should work either way, whatever version you have, as such whatever operating system your computer possesses.
