Hello together,
our Wolfen-RPG board is using FH for a little chat-time, so i created a nice little world with some custom objects. (3D Artist)
The world and the custom object collisions are working stable but i have some questions:
- I exported the mapmaker files for the other players. They can get into the map but didnt see any custom textures. Do they need these textures seperatly? Where should they put these files?
- According to this, i want to ask what files the other players need from me to see everything.
- Sometimes, after a re-log, we can play the others characters and can move them. Whats this? Some network bug?
- Sometimes, larger objects in front are disappering but the collisions are still working. After some time and walking around theyre reappering.
Sorry for bad english,
greetings, KJ
btw: here is a little screenshot from our world.

Make sure when you're exporting your map, you're getting ALL of the exported files. Make sure that your members are replacing any default files. Also be sure you're creating your own object-group to place those self-made objects in. The textures may need to be transferred to the players as well, however this usually isn't the case.
Instead of sticking the files into exports, try sticking the object files into My_Objects. They may texture there, assuming you give them the texture files.
Large objects will dissappear because the computer can't load them at all times. There's nothing you can really do to fix that except maybe changing your view distance.
Your map download needs to include all FHO. and FHM. files included in the map download, also any sky or weather cycle files included, (FHW. and FHS.).
The situations where you're re-logging as different characters is a server glitch problem with your characters. When this happens, you need to relog as a DIFFERENT character from the one you're trying to use, and then wait a few moments before jumping back over.
