Today I made a terrain map and when I tried to enter it to map maker, the game crashed and I had to close it. I decided to move the terrain to another folder in the FH Folder and when I opened it, the backround in the opening is black. Everything is black except for the FeralHeart banner and picture and the signing in part. When I tried to go to map maker again, the game crashes once again, but if I sign in and select my character, the game works fine. The backround is back and I can move and stuff. How can I fix this?

This happened to me once, I simply re-started my laptop and it worked fine after that. C:

As for your crashing terrain, you need to make sure the height map is;
513x513
One layer
Greyscale
No alpha channel
PNG. file
No exceptions on these things. ^ Otherwise, it'll crash your game like so.
However, restarting your computer should fix the black background problem.

I tried restarting my laptop, but it didn't work. As for the terrain, I followed the instructions in the manual, so it's actually the size I'm supposed to use.

I fixed the black backround screen, I accidently deleted the Watermill.map thing while trying to fix the problem. Buuut, i still have the map maker crashing problem.
-
And I'm telling you, if those aren't the dimensions you're using, it'll crash.

I fixed it! I went through the FH folder and realized I may have deleted something, so I went through the Recycle bin and saw that I deleted the object temp.map. So I returned that and checked FH and it worked.
Derpy derpy me :P
Thanks people.
