Title: Erggghhh -_- Why gimp, why?

Ok so now i gave up on map making and i tried preset it was going fan freakin tastic until...you guessed it, gimp wont let me open the layers window. i click it and nothing happens, i click ctrl L and nothing happens. Can anyone at all figure out a way to help me? PLease :(

Hm, I have no idea. Perhaps you should try to contact GIMP itself? I don't know, I've never had that problem with Gimp. I always keep my layer window open anyway.

Well I just downloaded it and it won't work -_- but thanks anyways. I guess i'll try and contact gimp cause this IS annoying.

I don't know why the layers window wouldn't open... It could be hidden underneath your other windows because they will not pop up on top.... I hope you are able to solve your issue.

Look at top for Windows.  Then click recently closed docks and you will see the layers window :)

I have tried everything. I moved the toolbox window and i looked at recently closed docks and it says empty. Imma go check Fixya and see if Gimp answered me back. Thanks for the good ideas everyone.
