Title: More detailed mini map?
Post by: WorldRain on May 08, 2012, 04:52:37 am
I notice that on the minimap, it only shows height and depth. I've been searching for hours trying to find all the portals, and I wish it would be easier. Here's some ideas I have;

- When you search for a player, put a little marker on the minimap. Just saying what reigon they're in is a bit too vague.

- Mark and label portals.

- Maybe highlight landmarks like the stone bridge in Flourite. This isn't really necessary though.

Sorry if I sound pushy - I'm not used to asking for game additions!

There are already markers on the map, you need to be in the same map to see them though.

The others are good, but I enjoy looking for the portals, and really, they aren't really that hard except for the portal to Atlantis and last cave (And I mostly had issues with that last portal because my game wouldn't show the portal XD)

There are? Mine just has black and white streaks for elevation, even when on the same map. Is there like a separate page in the game to see the map better?

No, if they are on your friends list they are yellow dots that appear on your minimap. And you can zoom in and out, perhaps they are out of view on the map. I think clicking and dragging on the map is what zooms it in and out...

Same, i love looking for the portals but sometimes its disappointing. All that time to find a boring old cave. True story actually ^^
