The markings are not working. I did every thing in the Tearless markings folder and then on the MACOX or some thing like that folder, the images wont come up, just like a paint brush and the little thing that has colors in it. I click on one of the images to see if it will come then, it says C:\FeralHeart\exports\TearlessMarkings\_MACOSX\TearlessMarkings\._cmarkBiohazardHead.png
Paint cannot read this file.
This is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not currently supported.

Huh... okay, I don't know what the deal is with the MacOX thing; the only things that should be in that folder are the markings and readme, and all should be in .png format, which I know FeralHeart supports. Have you tried putting them in the game to see if they work there?

Got them to work I love em. I love the Biohazard for my tan and brown wolf, Boxer. He looks epic with it.

I was actually not far from you on the l island earlier But I'll show you soon ;D I love the markings. the only thing that fails is that the dots, and the bone whatever one on the canine doesnt show up. Maybe its under my mane. I'll figure out sometime xD

As for the preset thing... assuming you're referring to a preset I use in game, yes, I have several. As for a preset thread, I think there's one buried somewhere, but it's severely outdated. XD

Cynder to help you,you must put all pictures in FeraHeart/Media/Textures and put them there inside.Now the tip!somewhere before going in any file in FeralHeart file it is written "markings".A file in Winrar writes the same.Just scroll the new file from Winrar at the FH file.Change the files to the new markings notebook.I hope that helped sorry really for bad explanation :I

When you paste the code from the ReadMe into the 'items.cfg", be careful where you put it. The code under the section called 'Feline Body' in the ReadMe should be pasted under the section in the 'items.cfg' called [Fbody]. That way all the feline body markings appear properly in-game. The Feline Tail in the ReadMe corresponds with the [Ftail] in the 'items.cfg'. The Canine Body corresponds with the [Cbody], etc.

help! i used win.rar copied the files to the textures and pasted and when i did i dont see the markings and i go to feral ehart and i dont have them on the markings list! PLEASE HELP ME!

No need to panic, Windpaw. First make sure the markings are in the correct textures folder. They should be in FeralHeart>media>textures, NOT FeralHeart>media>terrains>textures.

If that's not the problem, did you open the ReadMe and paste the lists into markings.cfg? The markings will not show up in game if you haven't.

I don't know what the DSS thing is, to be honest; just ignore it. If you open the ReadMe you'll find all the markings that you can copy/paste into markings.cfg.

All you should have to do is put all the .png files into FeralHeart>media>textures, and copy/paste the lists in the ReadMe into the appropriate sections of markings.cfg.

Click the link to download, and unzip the file (on a Mac, just double click to open. According to Google, it's the same for Windows). Open your FeralHeart folder, go to media > textures, and drag all the .png files into it (everything but the ReadMe). Now go back to the main FeralHeart folder and open markings.cfg, then open the ReadMe that came with the download. I've organized all the markings into groups, just copy/past them onto the end of the lists in their respective categories. They should appear in game after that. Feel free to PM me if you have any problems.

I tried using the markings, I put the markings in textures, and the lists in markings.cfg (( I changed .cfg to .txt so I could add them in, then I changed it back)) and now my wolves are all white except for their eyes and wings and when i look at their markings it says "none".

I downloaded them all right, as far as the directions said, but the markings aren't in the right places when I try to create them. There are none in body markings and very few in head, but there are tons, mostly doubles which none match, in tail, for canines. There are only 2-3 in body, head, and tail for felines. I pasted all the stuff in the Word file to the Markings.cfg thing... DX I'm getting frustrated and tired, and I really hope these markings work because they're so amazing.

Brianna, these markings work. I have them and I've seen them in-game on other players.

Did you put the markings in their corresponding areas? Because I had a similar problem when I first tried to use these markings. The markings listed under Feline Body in Tearless's ReadMe should be pasted under [F Body] in the main FH markings.cfg. The markings listed under Canine Tail should be pasted under [C Tail] in the main FH markings.cfg. and so on.

The instructions are in the downloaded zip file. Just save the zip file anywhere you'd like, and the instructions will tell you the rest.

Ok, I downloaded them.... Put all .png files in Feralheart--->media-->textures copied&replaced everything and restarted FH but my friend using them was still white. Help? There was supposed to be a .cfg file but instead it was a DS_store or sth file. Where do I gety a cfg. file? I got these other massmarkings and it deleted my datmassmarkings and MM(2) Does anyone know where I can download those?

Where is the .cfg file? Normally, when i download massmarkings, I put all the .png file in FH>media>textures and copy&replace everything, then I put the .cfg file in the main FH folder. The problem here, where is the .cfg file?

that was very explanatory huh xD well it wont like open i re-downloaded it though.... im not sure if the markings is good for my computer or somethings wrong with my installing haha but when i get it my fh wont open ill click it and it says feralheart has stopped working its a shame i cant get such epic markings :"c

Yes... that's because someone, idtentity as yet unknown, took a bunch of my markings and stuck them into their own pack without permission. If anyone knows who, please do tell me.

As stated in the first post, I have a thread in the main addons board. Any further questions, please contact me there or PM me; I'd really prefer that people stop bumping my old threads to make room for other peoples' stuff. However, I'd reccomend that you download Ouka's marking pack instead (it's also in the main addons board), as it includes mine along with many others, and is much more widely used so more people will see your markings correctly. It's also easier to install.
