Title: Post Count
Post by: KnifeKnut on May 13, 2012, 12:45:48 am
I have just a few questions.
1. It seems as though posts in the "Forum Games" area are not counted. True or no?
2. Why do people advise others to post in the Help area to increase their count? Is there a bonus for doing so?
3. Does your post count influence your chances for being picked as a Mod, Admin, or MOTS?

Thanks for looking.

1. True, posts in forum games are not counted.

2. I guess there is more to post in Game Help, i wouldnt know why else they would suggest there. I havent encouraged anyone to post in any certain places.

3. I would say its more what you post than how many you post.

Generally posts wont make a difference in whether you become a mod/admin or even a nominee for MOTS. But helping others by answering their questions or participating in the forums itself does show mods/admins your capabilities. As well as bumping up your post count :)
