I was thinking about the one charr in a series I read, and how cool it would be to make a charr in FH that was a shapeshifter, and that led me to this idea: What if we had a button in character maker, that we could click on/check, and we could chose one or more charrs to be with that charr your using. I don't mean follow, I mean we could customize those other charrs as well as the main one, and use then without logging out and back in,a nd going through the whole list, which takes alot of time. Yes, we will still do that, but I mean, don't use the list with the other charrs, have them on a panel of some sort you could click on, and then you chose which charr you want to morph into, and you would. It would also be pretty cool for rps, say, you had a wingless feline that could morph into a canine with wings. :3 I don't expect this to be added soon, maybe not at all, but its worth suggesting.

Programming, programming and more programming. I don't see this being added.
I see you don't want to go through the big list, but I'm afraid that's the only thing you can do right now. Just delete the chars you don't need? Won't be so hard to go through your list if there are only a few chars in there. :)

I know :) it just seems like a good idea, especially for rps, but I also see your point

That would be cool, but one thing: It would take a lot of coding! It possibly could add more lag.. e.e. I like the idea, switching without exiting out. I get tired easily of one char and always end up loggin' off a million times, then get bad tokens trying to get back in xD

XD same

All the switching back and forth can make one tired x.x

ikr?

Why does everyone always have to fuss over the coding amount? I mean, really? What's the point of having an idea section if people are just going to shoot them down with that cliche "coding" comment?
Enough thinking about good ideas can actually somewhat help in cutting down the amount of coding required, in my opinion (there are a lot of functions in the code that I'm learning, and there are many, MANY "shortcuts", or other functions, that can make 60 or so lines of code turn into less than 15).
All I see that's needed is an extra window in the player's personal section with a couple tic-boxes. One for "canine", one for "feline", and that only one tic box can be clicked at a time to avoid some sort of bug where both models appear at the same time.
The only main difficulty would be on how to make the switch without slowing down the game or having to wait a long time for a switch like that to load on the server and stuff. :/

yeah, and I know absoloutly nothing about coding, so good for you XD
-
I think the amount of coding would be worth this. I mean, a game's not going to get better without hard work.
-
yeah, and I was thinking, yes, you could just go and get another of your charrs, but if you really did roleplay a shapeshifter, it would take out rp time to log back in, go through your list, get the charr, and move it to the proper location. sides, you don't have to create a morph animation, just reload the game with the charr and such.

Either that or have a window of "grouped characters" that you brought in with you and have it so that whichever "character icon/name" you have picked to play will change when you select a different one, sort of like how tails and markings switch when making a character maybe.
...I don't know.

maybe...
