How do I download a map and also how do I get in the map as well, put it on the game, ETC.;w; I'm part of a clan that has a map but I can't seem to get on the map!
Also if this helps, I'm on a Mac :)

Downloading map requries you to have the link, obviously. Download from link provided.
If is a zip/rar file, you will need a program to open it. (WinRar is a free program, can be found via Google).
If it's a simple FHM. file, just place it into your exports folder in your main Feral Heart folder.
In general, most files, FHM. FHO. and FHS. files can be placed into your exports folder and it will work.
Also, once in place, your portal will appear in Cape of Distant Worlds.

Nevermind read the thread wrong ^^
Actually, WinRar isnt free though there is a free trial which lasts for 30 days i think.
-
Do you know where your feral heart folder is? If not it's in Local Disk (C:)
most map downloads have a read me that says what to do
if you were given a zip, everything in the folder goes in the exports folder in your feral heart folder, if it's an .fhm file, it goes into exports on it's own.
to get into the map go to cape of distant worlds, there should be a portal to the map in there.
good luck :)

Well what if there are multiply files? Do you put them all in the export folder? I tried that and it didn't work...
-
Will depend on what these files are. And if exports isn't working for you;
Place FHM. files into FH>Media>Terrains.
FHO. Into FH>Media>Objects>My_Objects
FHS. and FHW. files into FH>Media>Sky.

Still not working, should I just restart my whole entire computer to see if the map portal pops up?
-
Sometimes that helps, so is worth a shot yes.
-
Mkay, I'll try that ^_^ I'll tell you if it doesn't work and then we can try to find out if it is because of a setting I did or whatever only if it doesn't work
-
Alrighty then. Most Mac users have problems with maps, never can remember if they can get working or not, though I think they do. Will look around for similar problem with solution.

Also CloudFish, thanks for the help ^_^
Still not working ;w;

I am on a mac and I have the solution!
First of all, you need to get the FeralHeart folders, you can do this by getting the full version of CrossOver (Look around for it) Then download and run the .exe file with crossover, install it to the z drive (Mac driver) Or the Desktop, your choice, just change the folder destination Or it will glitch up D: After it installs, you should have the FeralHeart folder somewhere, Search for it on Finder, (Note that you must go into the folder to run FeralHeart.exe) Now Get your objects,Maps or anything else! And put them in the folder! Then run the FeralHeart.exe in the folder with crossover and your finished! (You must watch out because it may crash every now and then)
Hope this helps!
That. Which backs up the first link.
And... Finally this; though it's outdated, so I don't know how helpful it'll be, think the first two links are your best bet.
