Title: My FeralHeart isn't working. Ideas?
Post by: Kristahi on June 22, 2012, 05:41:51 am: Ok, i'm going to be very detailed with you and my problem. I have tried re-installing my FH, but it still isn't working. I'll click the FH icon, have to choose a Rendering System (By the way, I have a Dell Laptop, Hannspree) and click my option which I believe is the best. When I click that option, my screen turns black and then a icon appears saying (exactly), "Feralheart.exe is not working. Windows checking for a solution to the problem..." After a second or two, another icon pops up saying: "A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close and notify you if a solution is avadible."

Any ideas on what Rendering System to use/and or anything else that might help? My FH was litterally working two hours ago and I had shut off my computer to eat. And this happen. Please help... thanks.

Its making me mad not being able to get on it at all, and no matter what rendering system I use, its not working. I've tried reinstalling it and getting the patch just to see if that works. Nothing.

Post by: Paradise Alpha on October 20, 2012, 02:20:45 pm: My FH Didn't work as well and what I did is I messed about with the options and I found a way of getting your FH working, but when I tried that it did work but the FH background went all black (I did it with FH+), but it still worked I dunno maybe it will work on your's. Here's what you have to do: Click on the FH icon ((I tried mine with FH+!! But I think you can also try with normal FH)) with your right mouse button and and then choose "restore previous versions" and then click again "restore versions" and there should be 2 files. One will say "earlier this month" and the other one "earlier this year". I clicked the "earlier this year" option and it did work but like I said it didn't work perfectly because the screen went all black. (FH+)

I have a craving for Feral-Heart right now and i need to fulfill it (sounds like a prophecy haha) BUT PLEASE SOMEONE HELP D:

This can be caused by a problem in the program or deficiency in Wine. You may want to check the Application Database for tips about running this application.

Anyway, to your problem, maybe trying to Un-install or re-install -shrugs- I suggested you pick un-install, so when if finished, you simply delete it and re-download it. -shrugs- c:

Post by: JackobLoveu on February 21, 2013, 11:23:58 pm: Adrna, if your having trouble, I suggested you make your own thread. :3 Anyway to your problem, For the 5 tries or it is a 15min ban, you need to wait 15mins and the password, it needs to be 16 characters.

I sat down at my mac to play and as soon as I clicked the FH icon it opened for about half a second and then disappeared. Its SO frustrating. Please made your own thread Sophie for your own Feralheart problems. I do not have a mac but I can list some things that you might find helpful.

- You may need to delete then [re-download[/b] the Feralheart folder.
- Try removing any new files you might have downloaded and added to Feralheart.
- Check your Particles, My_objects, Sky folder for any particle files with a _0 or _1 at the end and delete them.
- Try downloading the latest patch for mac.
- Try switching your rendering system:

This file works just as the ingame options menu, but instead of buttons and sliders, there's text.

What we're interested in is the top row

Set the top row text so it is just like in the picture with the text

Save the file, and close it. Next time you run the game it should boot with the new settings you applied.

Even though this solves the graphical problems for most, there's still some unlucky ferals out there that the problems still remain for, but there's still 1 more thing you can try, and that is to update your graphic card drivers.

Can I just say but Microsoft Visual is a program used for programming/coding games, programs etc. It doesn't restore lost programs. I actually use Microsoft Visual to code/compile IT servers.

Lol, I meant files cx I was just giving a brief example of what it's used for. Not sure how you would restore anything with the program though, I use it and I cannot see any options/buttons to restore anything.

Are you sure you aren't talking about a different Microsoft Visual program? The one you linked to runs programs that require MV for computers that don't have MV installed. If that makes sense ^-^

You need that for the game to work. Also, you can always contact am admin or mod
and ask, they are pretty much experts ^-^ My advice to you is that its probly your Computer, not
Feral Heart's fualt. You should save important stuff like school work or letters ect. on a flash drive.
Wipe out your entire computer with a certain disk you can by at the store, and have a
fresh start with your laptop. First thing you might want to do is download feral heart, then Im sure i would work. This is not the only option, although this is what to do if your computer is derping way too much.
If its too hard for you, maybe take a break for a while?

It's understandable that ya'll need help, but we are focusing on the current issue here instead of any other additional questions being brought up by other users.

But to help ya on this. Some computers are able to play Feral Heart and some aren't. Also when you do get into the open page of the game, try changing the options to Open > Direct instead. It makes the game more sustainable to play

Make a new thread in the help section since this specific thread is pretty old (2013). You probably won't receive as much help here compared to the help you'd receive if you made a new thread. ;)
