Title: i nead some help, if it is at all posible.

i was wondering if it is possible to edit existing maps? such as ones that the original owner is no longer supporting and no longer has the files to? i was hopping to fix a few glitches and lag issues i am having on said custom map, however i don't know how to edit it when it is all .fho and such. if it is not possible i will have to start remaking it completely and i would rather not considering how much work that would be.

Unless you can somehow obtain the original files like the terrain and mask.png, and the .map file, you cannot edit it.
Exported map files are made deliberately so you cannot edit an existing map and make it as your own. That way people can't steal maps XD

So you would have to remake the entire thing from scratch.

that's what i was afraid of. aww well was worth looking into XP i guess i got a bit of work ahead of me XP
