Title: Map crashes?
Post by: Hazelstiltskin on August 07, 2012, 03:06:26 am
As soon as I enter a map, I can only walk right. If I walk left, or even move the camera left, the game crashes. It's very odd!

I downloaded the map today, same time as everyone else.
I've restarted my computer.
I've re-downloaded the map.
I've reinstalled FeralHeart.

Anything else I can do to get this map to work?

Here's the log;

"[10:54:30 PM] Hazelstiltskin: Capabilities:: VertexProgram: NO
Capabilities:: FragmentProgram: YES
Sound:: Initialized: YES
WARNING::LoadFile:Overwriting Particle Template: StarAura

ERROR::SaveFile:loadz: HorrorMapFullerGates.cfg failed!
ERROR::SaveFile:loadz: HorrorMapFullerWater.cfg failed!

I'm not too technical, so I'm so lost.
Thanks for your time!

Can happen if the map is missing a mesh file when has been exported, so when the game tries to load it, it crashes.

Ask to someone else if is crashing in that map.

or ask to the person who made that map.

If that does not work it may be because the map is to full that your computer to handle it, im on a laptop and  it can barely handle fuorite.
I suggest getting a game enhancer, because i cant think of any other reason why it would be doing this
Hope this helps!

If Its A Newly Downloaded Map You Should Make Sure Almost Everythings In The Export File. But Make Sure You Didnt Put The Wrong File In Exports, Doing That Can Make Things Like This Happen C:

Sometimes it might just be that the lag is on your left, there might be to many items to your left for your computer/game to take? I suggest trying to change your Rendering Subsystem to Direct3D9 <--- This reduces lag but simplifies the textures.

This can be done by going in-game, pressing ESC, clicking Video and then click on Rendering Subsystem, if it is on OpenGL, change it to Direct3D9.

If this doesn't work then try to make sure you have put all the items and meshes in the right folder. And make sure you placed the textures in the right place too. :)
