Title: Map problems

I uploaded a map to mediafire so others could get it. It was a FHM file and unzipped. When someone went to download it, they said they couldn't find the portal to it and that it wasn't working.

Does the have to be zipped and how do you make a zipped file?

Also I noticed other maps that I downloaded myself also had a FHS and FHW file.

Do I need those? If so, how do you make or get them?

It may just be that the person you gave it too, installed it wrong.. maybe check that?

And is it alright for the file to be unzipped and to only have the FHM?

You need the .fhm, all .fho files, .fhw and .fhs files. Everything the map maker says it exports. These files are in C:/Feralheart/Exports

Try throwing the files into FH --> Media --> Terrains, this normally fixes the problem if it's not an installation problem~

Also can be the people who made the map simply forgot to put a portal in the map.
At map maker be sure it checked on the box saying "has portal".

if you are the only one with the portal problem, so it is because you did not put in the right place the files as described in the post above.
