At the risk of sounding antisocial, this is a feature I'd really love to see implemented at some point. Not exactly essential, I know, but every once in a while I come actoss moments where I'd really love to be able to go invisible, especially given that I'm not always a very chatty person and kind of like to be left alone to derp around the plains sometimes.
I'unno. It's a thought. Apologies if this idea's been posted, but I didn't see anything.

I actually love this idea, I have moments where I just want to be left alone and people come and find me. This would be a great option to be implemented into the game. Great idea Tearless lets hope we something like this in the future.

I agree with this, at times when I am on Feralheart and i get whispers from people in my group freaking because I am not in there map every time I'm on, it's really annoying...

I have always wished we had this option...! There are many times I come on Feral Heart when I am having a bad day just to get my mind off things and to be alone. Don't get me wrong I love my friends but some days it's very annoying that the moment I sign on I am bombarded with whispers etc. Lets admit that sometimes friends can be stalkerish and they think I must play with them or hang out with them every time I am online... and if it's not that its a group driving me mad to come to where ever they are to RP with them. We all have our days we want to be alone -_-

Sounds like a awesome idea, sometimes I just want to 'poof' and watch the chat go by-
Sometimes people tend to come up to me and talk, and usually I'm 'forced' into a conversation with them.. XDD

It'd also be a great way to just roam about the map without fear of mate beggars, trolls, etc.

I know, happens to me too. I was just going to post a topic on this because I agree 100% on the wanting to be alone sometimes. I LOVE being alone sometimes on FeralHeart. But, another idea I had was that you could show yourself as not being online to certain people in your friends list. That way, if you want to hang out with a friend or something other than that, you could without getting whispers from other people in an rp group of yours wanting you to rp when really you just want to...chillax.

I would love it if this was added, I honestly would. But there's always another way, Lonely Cave.
Of course it's not the best way to solve this. Like mentioned above you wouldn't be able to just watch the chat go by anymore.
But aye.. you could try that. c:

another idea I had was that you could show yourself as not being online to certain people in your friends list. That way, if you want to hang out with a friend or something other than that, you could without getting whispers from other people in an rp group of yours wanting you to rp when really you just want to...chillax.
That's an awesome idea, it'd also help you avoid certain people, too... >.>
Like those people who are on your friends list but end up being very annoying and always wanting your attention, but you don't want to be rude and remove them just cause they're pestering you (had this happen to me several times). Also because sometimes they're normally great to hang out with.
Or if you're one of the people with groups constantly raging at you about not being on their map and RPing with them, you'd be able to RP with others without all the fuss.

this i very much doubt
but i agree with this. not so much for your actual user to be invisible, but to appear invisible on friends list and on the map. like already stated by a lot of people, i find it bothersome that i have to hide out on other accounts just because of wanting to avoid whispers and the like from friends/group members.

Yes, I didn't mean that your character should literally turn invisible from everyone (I feel like that would get boring pretty fast anyway XD), just that your name doesn't appear in the 'online' box to people you've friended, and your dot doesn't show on the map.
there is a user named 'Helper' who can do this. i met them a few times, we're quite good friends. only thing is, kovu gave them this special ability, her and only her.... :/
Um... I'm having trouble seeing what the point of this was. No one (not counting mods/admins, of course) randomly gets special powers from Kovu, that makes no sense. Assuming you didn't just make this up, the user was probably lying to you for attention.
