Title: Moving Feralheart libraries
Post by: littlepinksprite on August 20, 2012, 06:53:33 pm
Is there a way I can stick the whole game on a memory stick and run everything off of there without messing anything up? Would I have to re install it, or could I move it and reset the reference directories?

Um...if you mean by memory stick you mean flash drive..um (sorry not really sure what you're asking) then just move the FH folder onto the flash drive and i guess move it to wherever it is you're trying to move it? Like i said im not too sure what you're talking about.

It should work, yes. I've moved my files that way before. I don't suggest booting up your computer with that being the first option, though xD But yes, it should work just fine without reinstall.

It works, but sometimes you FH will not start in some computers saying there is missing a dll file.
I that case you will need to install directx or to have this dll file in your main feral heart folder

Here is the file if needed.

Unzip this file in to the feral heart folder

Thanks everyone! I wasn't expecting so many replies. Yes, Bloo, I meant flash drive. Someone else today also was confused when I said memory key. Is this term incorrect?

Not wrong, some people used to say USB key.
But better to say Flash Memory because it makes reference to any USB memory or memory card (SD, MMC, xD, CompactFlash, etc).
