Dawnclan

Dawnclan has been in the forest for countless moons.  They live strong with hope and are fearless warriors.  The cats have always been brave and trustworthy, but secrets will spill, and fear will show....


Camp
Dawnclan's camp is surrounded by tall elm and oak trees.  These tree's provide an excellent barrier during the harsh Leaf bare winds.  The leaders den is located in a hollowed out elm tree and beside that is a secret entrance to a pool of fresh water used during droughts.  The apprentice den is near the leaders den, which is made of a patch of thick hazel bushes.  Beside that is the elders den, which is a large stone hollowed out to form a cave.  The medicine cat den is near the entrance of the camp made of hazel bushes and is protected by the shade of two oaks.  Lastly, the nursery and warriors den are nestled near the back of the camp.  The warriors den is made from a large rock and a fallen tree branch and the nursery is a hollowed out oak.


Territory
Dawnclan's territory is filled with oak, elm, pine, and a few maple trees.  The area is covered with thick vegetation and herbs, but lately juniper berries have been harder to find.  The landscape contains a flowing river that has dried up on several occasions during New leaf.  There is also a pond that is sometimes used for fishing and drinking if other prey is scarce.  The training hollow is a small clearing surrounded by  pine trees and a few shrubs.

News
Treekit was murdered by an unknown cat during the night.  Frostpath broke his back leg while he was out in the forest and is recovering in the medicine cat den.  Featherkit has an injured paw and he is also recovering from the small wound in the medicine cat den.  Juniper berries still remain low in the territory.

General News
We found a leader.  Thank goodness. :D

Personality:Frostpath can seem a little grumpy at times, not liking younger cats, snapping at them. however, that's only due to that he doesnt want to get close to anyone, as they seem to always get hurt. however, in battle, what you see is how he is. He's cruel to his opponents, and often exploits their weaknesses.
Looks:A white tom with a black dorsal stripe and a bright cyan underbelly.(screeny coming soon)

Rosetail sat in the medicine cat den examining her stores.  She noticed that her store of juniper berries was running low.  She would have to go looking for some later.  If only I had an apprentice....

SparkWind padded out of the den, yawning and started looked around camp. she stared at the surrounding oak and elm trees, she then proceeded to walk around. She felt chills go down her back, and stopped at the exit of camp, looking out at the territory.

Rosetail padded outside the medicine cat den to see Sparkwind sitting near the exit of the camp.  "Thinking of going hunting?  If you do, keep your eyes open for juniper berries.  I'm running low."  She meowed, padding up to the she-cat.  "This Leaf bare is a cold one I must say, wouldn't you agree?"  She mewed, flicking her tail back and forth.

SparkWind, turned to her, "Yeah, I hope it warms up sometime soon, then we will have plenty more prey as well." She looked around then answered the first question, "and well, I am going to go hunting, and i'll look around for those berries, any ideas where i should look first?" she meowed questionly.

"Well, near the river may be a good place to look.  Don't worry much about the berries though, I am going to go out later and look."  Rosetail meowed, straining her next to glance up at the gray sky.  Her gaze flickered back to the ground at the fresh kill pile. It was very low.  "Well, good luck hunting Sparkwind.  We'll need all the luck we can get this Leaf bare!"  She purred, resentment in her tone.

Rosetail waved her tail good-bye to Sparkwind and went to the fresh kill pile to get something to eat.  She hadn't eaten anything that day and her stomach was roaring with hunger.  She picked out a bitter cold sparrow and began to gnaw at it.

Featherkit growled, and stomped around the camp. He had to be an apprentice soon! We was nearly 7 moons. He couldn't wait to be an amazing warrior, slashing cat in a battle. Little did he know that future wasn't going to be like that. He spotted the leaf he had been targeting, and his bobtail wriggled. With a low yowl, he pounced on the left ripping it to shreds.

After finishing off the sparrow, Rosetail got up and went out into the forest to look for juniper berries.  To her surprise, there was only a few in a small patch by the river.  She collected each one, leaving the bruised ones to rot.  She padded back to camp with the small bundle of berries in her jaws.  

((Ella, just so you know we don't have a leader yet.  Position is open to anyone, as well as deputy and medicine cat apprentice.  Only one big rank per person fyi guys!))

Frostpath walked out of the warriors den, tail tip twitching. He mewed a gruff greeting to the cats that remained in the clearing and sat down, licking his paw and drawing it over his ears. Once he was satisfied he stood up, his ear flicked. He looked down at featherkit, eyes narrowed slightly at the kit, truth be told, he loved kits of all types, no one would ever know the way he acted however. He'd have to have a chat about the kit's becoming an apprentice soon.

Featherkit turned his eyes towards Frostpath. His dull eyes took a minute to find him, but once he did he was over there in a flash. "Can you teach me a crouch? Please Frostpath? Please! Please!" He begged, jumping around the tom. Warriors were his main resource, as he hung out of them like a leaf on a tree.

No med.cat apprentice isn;t...I auditioned for it with Featherpaw, just because on your post it says I wish I ahd an apprentice, I thought it'd be a nice surprise for your cat to suddenly get one!))

Rosetail deposited the juniper berries in her store and padded back outside.  She spotted Featherkit bouncing excitedly around Frostpath.  A purr escaped her throat when she realized the kit was begging the deputy to teach him a crouch.  "Someone looks eager to learn."  Rosetail meowed, sitting down in the snow beside the kit.

Frostpath hesitated, then shrugged, after all, what harm could come of him teaching a kit the proper crouch " Well alright" he grunted, then crouched low to the ground " try to copy me." Frostpath kept his tail just slightly off the ground, not enough to disturb the snow, but not sticking strait up into the air. His ears were flattened slightly " like this. and when you move" He began to move slowly, placing his paws carefully that they didnt make a sound over the snow, his lean muscles rippling smoothly underneath his fur. He stopped, one paw raised slightly, then stood up " think you can do that?" He asked, ear flicking once.

Featherkit turned toward Rosetail, and his eyes flashed. A medicine cat! He couldn't learn anything from her, just some stupid like herbs! Feathertail nodded though. He watched the deputy crouch and stalk, and he nodded faster again. He crouched, keeping his rump down. His ears were pinned to his head, and for once his bobbed tail came in handy. But when he tried to walk, his paw flew forward flipping on the ice under the snow. With a terrified wail, his chin smashed into the snow and his paw was caught under his weight. His head throbbing, he rolled onto his belly.. He looked at his paw and the short fur showed the purple and black bruises already forming. "Rosetail! My head hruts and my paw is a weird colour, am I OK?" His wail was high pitched echoing in the camp.

Rosetail rushed to Featherkit.  "Oh Featherkit, it appears your paw is bruised up very badly.  Your head probably feels a bit dizzy because you smashed your chin against the frozen ground.  Follow me, I'll make you feel better."  She meowed, guiding the wailing kit to the medicine cat den.  "Lie down right here."  Rosetail instructed, gesturing to a comfortable nest made from moss and dove feathers.

Frostpath's whiskers twitched before he muttered " shoulda checked first..happens every time.." Frostpath turned around, heading for the camp entrance " I'll go see if theres anything out of it's burrow. " he called over his shoulder, before ducking trough the entrance. Once outside, frostpath immediatly started treading carefully, dabbing one paw at the snow carefully before walking. When frostpath was younger, he had stepped in mouse hole, fell wrong, and broke his forelimb. He had recovered, but the memory stayed with him.

Featherkit followed, and lay down in the nest. He plucked a feather out and looked at it. "It looks like my fur!" He purred, but he winced as it hurt his head. "It smells nice in here! Hey is that..whats it called..um..Poppy seeds! Thats it, I remember you giving them to a hurt kit when I was really young!" He said quickly.

SparkWind, glanced at what was happening at around camp then pelted away, toward the river. She looked around but didn't see anything special in particular. She then heard a movement in the bushes and her ears perked, she quickly dropped to a hunters crouch and jumped at it, she had nearly missed but was lucky one paw had struck the back of it. It was a mouse, although was no more that half a paw big. Feeling a little upset that she wouldn't have much to bring back, she continued to hunt through the area.

"Yes those are poppy seeds."  Rosetail meowed while she searched through her stores for some lavender leaves and borage.  Once she found them, she brought the herbs back to Featherkit.  "Eat the lavender leaves, they will make your head feel better."  She meowed,  setting the borage over his wounded paw.  Rosetail headed quickly back to her stores to fetch some cobwebs.  When she returned she wrapped the cobwebs around the paw, which was covered with borage.  "Try to get some sleep.  Your paw will feel much better tomorrow."  She meowed, staring warmly at the kit.

((Ella does Featherkit have parents or did they recently pass?  I just wanted to know.))

Featherkit did what he was told. And noted what she was doing, medicine cats were no good for fighting but if he needed to heal himself one day.. he wolfed down the leaves, and winced and flinched as she mended his paw. Yawning he nodded, he didn't know he was tired. Curling up slightly, he started to mutter as he fell to sleep "Lavender leaves make your head better, web things and foul smelling things help your paws."

SparkWind, had finished her hunt, but it ended in nearly a disaster, she was only able to catch a half a paw sized mouse, and a sparrow that was about the same size. She sighed and grabbed both of them, she padded into camp and dropped the prey. She lied down next to the prey she caught and drifted to sleep, unaware of anything happening around her.

Frostpath stalked through the snow fill forrest. He dabbed his paw foreward, then suddenly hissed in surprise, a small rabbit hole. He sniffed then licked his lips. There was a rabbit in there. Carefully, he began scooping pawfuls of snow away from the entrance, then yowled once he could fit his head through. The rabbit, startled at the sound, bolted, strait into frostpath's awaiting jaws. Frostpath stood up, cleaning his whiskers of the rabbit's blood. It was scrawny, but at least there was something on it.He picked it up, then climbed halfway up a hollow tree, and placed the rabbit in the hole. That was his favorite way of stashing prey. Frostpath jumped back down, nose quivering, as he went back on the hunt.

Personality: Cloudtiger is a caring cat to kits, but is a harsh and bossy cat to others. She believes if you really try you can do it, and if you didn't do it you didn't try. She's protective, and burns with love for kits. Despite her motherly ways, in a battle she is a angry and fierce fighter. She is so loving, but one of the best warriors.
Looks: Her main pelt is a soft white, like the clouds. But she has base tiger-like markings, much like Tigerclaw (hehe never call him Tigerstar). Her eyes are a blazing yellow and roange mix, like the sun.

Rosetail left the sleeping kit for a short moment to get him something to eat.  She walked towards the fresh kill pile and took a scrawny looking rabbit.  It would be enough for the kit.  Rosetail padded back and rested the rabbit beside Featherkit's nest.

It wasnt long before frostpath came to a small frozen stream. He sniffed the air hopefully, and his head snapped back down when he spotted movement. He stalked closer to it, tail twitching, just above the ground. It was a mouse, Frostpath could see that it was a scrawny one at that. As he went closer, the mouse suddenly looked right at him. Frostpath froze. mentaly cursing that he had a black dorsal stripe. The mouse bolted, frostpath raced after it, and  right before it could duck into it's burrow under a tree, he lunged, catching it with his paw. Frostpath didnt pay attention to what was in the tree. A bright red bird flew off, sounding an alarm call " Foxdung!" He hissed " Guess i'm done for now.." Frostpath picked up the mouse and went back to his tree to retreive his rabbit, and made his way back to camp. When he got there he set the rabbit and the mouse down on the small fresh kill pile and went over to the medicine cat's den to check on featherkit.

Rosetail looked to the entrance of the medicine den to see Frostpath standing there waiting to be invited inside.  "Come in."  She meowed, turning away from the deputy and back to the sleeping kit.  "Featherkit is doing well.  His paw should be better by tomorrow.  I suggest he stays here until then."  She added, flicking her tail back and forth.

Cloudtiger stuck her head out of the nursery den and glanced around. She had left Dawnkit and Treekit in the den, as she padded to get some food. She grabbed Frostpath's mouse, and turned and want back into the den. "Treekit! Shop eating Dawnkit!" The queen growled, watching her tom kit chewing on his sisters tail.

Rosetail left Frostpath alone in the medicine den to check on Cloudtiger.  She padded into the nursery to find the queen scolding Treekit. "Need anything?  How are the kits?"  She asked, gazing down at Treekit and Duskit who were playing with each other.

Frostpath lay his tail on featherkit's back. He liked the lively kit's nature. Frankly, he was happy that he wouldnt stay here any longer than a day. Frostpath felt a little guilty for trying to get the kit to learn to stalk , but accidents happen. " That crouch was perfect by the way" He mewed. Frostpath himself would have mentored the apprentice, when the time came, but he really didnt want to make to close bonds with anyone. As his last apprentices had faced great accidents...Except for one, who's life he'd saved. And i'd better not get my hopes up on mentoring featherkit he thought to himself.

((it's true, in every rp I've had frostpath in, somethin happens to his apprentices! DX. The first time, a hawk got one, the next day after his apprenticeship, second time, badger, third, a fox, the fourth one survived mind you, cuz the clan cat that tried to kill the poor guy got his throat torn out by frostpath. Yeah dont mess with the cats he gets close too, he'll kill you ._. btw, good luck on the med. apprentice featherkit ;D ))

Cloudtiger chuckled. "That kit will be the death of himself. He was playing with Treekit and fell inta nest. It hadn't been used in awhile and a thorn was sticking out. He jumped a meter into the air, but no thorn was caught. With this cold, I hope the leader will get kit to apprentices soon!" She purred.

Frostpath lay down next to featherkit, assuming the kit was asleep. He wondered, how long it would take for the kit to become an apprentice, he was way past ready... He looked at him again and stood up then walked out of the den "I'm going out if anyone needs me" He called over his shoulder as he left the camp. He needed time to think.

She down and lets out a cold breath whispering to herself "Why did you have to die..?" A cold white fog starts to cover the grassy ground. She sighs, just staring down at the river. She jumps backletting out a yowl as the reflection of her lost best friend BlackStripe. She starts to cry to hereself trying to forget how he died.

Duskkit pricked her ears at the sound of a new cat's voice, whom she identified as Rosetail. She shoved her brother off of her, and didn't pay attention to the noise he made when he thumpred down onto the cold ground. "Hi, Rosetail! Me and Treekit are doing well, thanks for asking~" She gave a small smile with her words as she stood up.

Rosetail gazed up at the sky through the branches and leaves of the medicine cat den.  She noticed it was getting late, so she decided to go get some rest.  Rosetail picked her way through her stores of herbs and Featherkit to her nest which looked comforting.  She curled up inside the feather-lined nest, but sadly sleep wouldn't come.  Instead of forcingherself to close her eyes and rest, she watched the entrance in case a cat was injured while hunting.

Frostpath sighed, looking up at the sky. He closed his eyes, remembering all his past apprentices, and lash out at a tree in sudden rage " Why is it I can barely protect the one's i'm supposed to look after?!" he hissed running through the trees and the snow covered forest " Why why WHY!?" He wasnt looking were he was going and ran right into a tree " huff!" he backed up and staggered a few tail lenghts then with a hiss took off again. Suddenly his foot gave way beneath him, and with a yowl he fell over, feeling a sharp pain in his leg. He hissed in pain and fury " De ja vue" he growled , managing to pull himself to a sitting position. He grimaced as he looked down at his leg. It was bent sharply at an awkward angle and was that..bone..sticking out? He hissed in pain. It was almost the same as when he hurt himself in his apprenticship. Same leg, same way. not the same spot though. " now how am I supposed to get back?" he growled, trying to ignore the burning, stabbing pain in his bleeding leg. His blood was turning the snow crimson, he remembered the last time this happened, his mentor had carried him back. Frostpath didnt have anyone to help him now, he just sat in the snow, looking down at his leg, his face contorted in pain.

(( I'm so cruel to frostpath DX no this isnt the cripple wound. The wound'll be his eye. This will recover, once his bone is put in position))

SnowFur hears the cat in pains yowl and stops abruptly catching herself offguard. She tumbles forward but catches herself up right. She gets up and shakes her head.She sighs and starts to trot following the cats scent. She reaches the cat and relizes its Frostpath. "Frostpath?! what happened?" she mews trotting up to the cat. "You need to get back to camp, your badly hurt. She sniffs his leg and gives it a swift lick. "Dang it looks bad..." she thinks to herself

As Frostpath tells me what happened I think "Yeah right...." We arrive at camp and I trot to the middle of the camp and gently place Frostpath down. I meow so that the whole camp can hear but its pointing towards the med cat. "((i think rosetails the med cat if im not right can the real med cat just talk for this part lol)) Frostpath is hurt... bad! You have to help him quick!" She stands there for a minute, then gets kind of dizzy, she decides to go lay down. She licks his cheek "Hope it gets better" She then trots away with her tail high and trots into the warrior den and plops down in her bed, almost immediatly falling asleep.

She lays there telling herself it was just a dream.." but then she would think "But... it was so real..." she lays there thinking about her nightmare about what happened to her best friend, strangley similar yet different to Frostpath. She sighs hoping she'll forget it.

Rosetail gathered some cobweb and wrapped it around Frostpath's wound.  She gathered some burdock and set this over his leg.  After she did this she gave the deputy a poppy seed.  "Eat it."  She meowed to him.

Rosetail snatched some comfrey from her stores and placed this on Frostpath's sprained leg. (Is it sprained or broken?)  "Feeling any better?"  She meowed, wondering if he had eaten the poppy seed for she couldn't see it anymore.  

((Oh I forgot to say I am working on a map for Dawnclan.  I'm still getting the hang of it but I basically know all the main controls, except for a few.... meh. xD))

She trots over to Rosetail and Frostpath and places them done next to them. She sits down and mews "Your not stupid, you can just be a mouse-brain sometimes". She kinda snickers a little but bites her tongue. She looks over at RoseTail and mutters "It's not going to be infected right?" She sits down next to Rose and stares down at Rosetails work, and Frostpath licking his teeth.

"No it won't get infected."  She whispered back to Snowfur, staring at the bone that was jutting out.  Rosetail began to examine the bone more closely.  She gently touched her paw to the bone to see how bad the injury was.  Ever so slowly she began to move the bone in place.  She stopped suddenly, feeling that this job would be best finished tomorrow.  "Well, get some rest for now Frostpath.  The bone is broken, and it will take some time to heal.  For now,  Goodnight."  She meowed, padding up to her nest.

Snowfur tilts her head then pushes the vole closer to Frostpath. She looks towards rosetail and whispers so she can hear "When he wakes up tell him its from me, oh and here's a vole for you." She picks up a vole and trots over to Rosetail and drops it down. She smiles then rushes out like a gust of snow blowing through a vast blizzard.

The odd marked kit woke up, and yawned. He had slept well, but was amazed to wake up beside a warrior. Featherkit blinked again, making sure he wasn't still asleep.

Cloudtiger woke up with a yowl. "TREEKIT! WAKE UP WAKE UP! TREEKIT!" The screech of the queen might have been herd all around the territory. She had woken up to find one of her kits splayed on the floor. The kit still had a face of pure terror on his face, as his mother shook him with his paw. "Not a time for playing games! Treekit, WAKE UP! Don't be dead, don't don't!" She screeched to the sky.

Rosetail opened her eyes to the sound of a yowling she-cat.  It sounded like Cloudtiger.  She got up from her nest and rushed to the nursery.  When she arrived she saw what was wrong.  Treekit was lying on his side, not one breath escaping the kit's small body.  Treekit was dead.  She padded over to Treekit to examine the body a touch more.  But there was no heart beat.  She turned to Cloudtiger and sighed.  "Treekit is dead Cloudtiger.  I am so sorry for your loss."  She meowed, doing her best to comfort the mourning queen.

Cloudtiger was wailing, but approached her dead kit. But a foul smell came off him, but oddly it was cat. She touched him and turned him over, and jumped in shock. "R-rosetail! L-look!" She cried, looking at the kit. He had claw marks on his soft belly...

Frostpath's ear twitched, feeling something shift near him. He opened an eye, and with a small mew turned his head to look. He made a halfhearted smile " oh, hello featherkit.." he said sleepily, struggling to push himself into a sitting position, his injured forelimb put out at an odd, stiff angle.

Featherkit was shocked. "Frostpath! Oh dear, um I can help! It hurts right?" He meowed quickly, trying to remember what Rosetail had given him. He stumbled over to the supplies and sniffed around, he found cobwebs and wra[[ed them around his paw. He found the foul smelling stuff and put it on the cobwebs, stumbling back he ripped off whatever Rosetail had put on and wrapped the cobwebs on tight.

Rosetail stepped into the leaders den.  "I hate to disturb you so early, but a kit has passed away during the night.  It was Treekit.  The kit died from no illness, Treekit was killed by a cat."  Rosetail meowed, feeling her fur bristle.  The leader looked to Rosetail and nodded.  "Very well, have Frostpath hold a search party for this murder."  The leader meowed, stretching in his warm nest.  "Frostpath has a broken paw.  He can't possibly hold a search party.  Have Snowfur or another warrior handle it."  Rosetail mewed, feeling the urge to run back to her den and check on her patients.  "How did Frostpath-  never mind.  Have Snowfur lead a search party."  The leader meowed, curling up in his nest for a few more minutes of sleep.

((We really need a leader... :P  I tried putting info about the opening on the front page but I don't know.  Guys please try talking to your friends on Feral Heart who would be interested in becoming leader.  AND are active. :3))

Frostpath held his injured limb up in surprise. The binding was tight,tighter than rosetail's dressing. But it wasnt uncomfortable, in fact. Frostpath stood up, and experimentaly put pressure on it. He winced slightly, it hurt, but it was more of a sting rather than a sharp shooting pain. He sat down again and looked at featherkit questioningly " how did you know what to do?" he questioned.

Frostpath gave him a confused look " that was..the other day right?" He asked. " Then how did y- nevermind" He said shaking his head. He stood up again, and half limped over to the medicine cat den entrance. He sniffed the air and stiffened. He scented worry, anxiety, fear and...death... He padded back in and sat down again, ears flat in thought. " Featherkit..do you know what's going on?" He asked. Frostpath hated being in the dark about things that worried the clan.

Rosetail left the den.  She assumed the leader wanted her to tell Snowfur that she would be leading the search party.  Rosetail found her talking to Hawkshadow.  "Treekit was killed during the night by a cat.  I couldn't identify the scent.  The leader asked you to lead a search party."  She meowed sadly, leaving Snowfur to gather the cats for the search party.  Rosetail padded into the medicine cat den to see her dressing on the ground and torn.  She looked at Frostpath to see there was a new dressing on his paw.  "Who put that dressing on?"  She asked looking over at Featherkit and then at Frostpath.

" A minor suggestion, but if it's possible, if any cat goes out today, ask if they can find any bamboo. A good size one big enough for me to fit my paw through? back when I was an apprentice they did that and I was able to walk on my injury without causing it any harm" His ear twitched, suddenly remembering the anxiety " um, rosetail" he said, his ears flat back, eyes narrowed " what's going on. I sense something amiss in camp, no in the forest itself. What's wrong?"

Rosetail felt like she was glowing.  She had found herself an apprentice.  She turned her attention on Frostpath and meowed,  "I usually use a strong stick for cases like these.  I don't recall bamboo.  And as for the clan, Treekit has passed away.  He was killed actually, by an unknown cat."  She meowed, examining the wound.  "Hmm, it seems you found some stronger cobwebs in my stores eh Featherkit?"  She meowed, glancing at the kit.

Frostpath lashed his tail " I dont WANT to rest." he growled " I want to help, and wether or not you wish me to, I will one way or another, rosetail!" frostpath was rarely seen this angry, usally he got slightly annoyed, but never this angry.  " I will not have a murderer running around in the forest" He hissed pacing around. he'd find a way to sneak out, yes, when no one was paying attention he'd look around for this cat himself.

" I'm bored..." he muttered eyes narrowed " I need something to do, usually I'm out patroling or hunting or chasing off intruders.." he flattened his ears in fustration. Clearly, being a deputy didnt take away the fact that he was still a young warrior, hating to be confined in a space such as the medicine cat's den.

Featherkit nodded quickly and quickly made his way to the nursery. He touched Cloudtiger's should as he reached her, and purred softly. "Don't worry, he's with StarClan. I bet you'll see him tonight, a fine warrior!" He purred to the sad queen. Cloudtiger smiled weakly at the large kit, and felt a pang of guilt. Featherkit had no parents, and here she was greiving to StarClan. Cloudtiger pulled a happy face.

Rosetail looked to Frostpath and meowed,  "Yes, but right now I just want you to gently stretch your paw."  Her eyes flickered to Vergestar.  "Hello Vergestar.  Your deputy is doing fine, Featherkit helped replace his old bandage this morning.  I think he has what it takes to be a medicine cat.  As for Frostpath I assume his paw will heal in a moon or so.  It really depends on Starclan and if Frostpath stretches it properly."  She mewed, glancing at the cobwebs covering his paw.  She noticed a few had peeled off.  Rosetail quickly removed these, and made haste to replace them.

Recently apprenticed she was excited and curious to what her mentor would teach her during her training, a small gust of wind blew throughout her fur making her shiver "i hate leaf bare" she looked at the ground covered with the white snow.

She perks her ears and hisses "Quiet." The other cats quiet down and SnowFur listens. She hears faint clawing marks. She looks back and whispers stay here. I'm going to check it out ahead. She starts to pad forward. Others follow but gradually take cover letting her go on. She crouches low to the ground as she sees another cat. She blends in the best she can, but with everything dead she stuck out like a million black pelted cats with one white pelted cat mixed into the bunch. She ducks as low as she can.

Instantly on alert, he whipped around, catching a flash of white in the undergrowth he let out a low growl. Clan cats, figures. he thought. Dog turned on his paws and sprung away, dashing into the forest.

SnowFur yowls and runs after the rogue. She catches up t him but keeps her distence. She attempts to grab his nub of a tail but fails. She runs as fast as she can but falls behind. She trys to run faster but she was too worn out. She stops and watches as the cat gets away. She turns and sulks back to the others. "He ran away like a coward." She hissed. They head back to camp. SnowFur was full of anger and aggrivation.

Ivypaw stopped in her tracks, turning to look at her leader "hmm maybe this is Featherkits naming cerimony??" she turned and bounded over back towards the center of the camp, she looked back when she reached the middle, "i guess ill go explore later" she looked back towards Vergestar ears perked and her green eyes locked on.

Featherkit lead out Cloudtiger softly, and sat beside her a the Queens den. He had known Treekit, and truthfully he was mourning too. That could have been him...

Rosetail sat in front of the medicine cat den and listened to the meeting from there.  She didn't want to leave Frostpath all alone.  She noticed Snowfur pad into camp looking rather frustrated.  "Must have lost the scent of that rouge."  Rosetail meowed to herself, glancing up at Vergstar.

Dog slowed to a stop, squeezing in underneath a tree, losing some fur in the process. He licked his shoulder, that had been close, It was one thing if it was that she-cat by herself but...he dug his claws into the ground, snarling. She was with others of her clan. Dog lashed out at the tree, claws scoring marks on it. " Stupid clan cats think they're so dang good! what do they know?!" He curled up, ears pricked, and closed his eyes.

Ivypaw got up and shook her fur, getting the snow that had fallen onto her her off. She scanned the area seeing everyone prasing Featherpaw, she made sure no other anoucments where made before she trotted over to the opening of the camp. She scented the opening then bounding out and into the forest and into the thick brush, her silver grey pelt didnt match very well in the bright Greenleaf sunlight but during leaf bare with everything dead and dull it was perfect. But even with this she still missed the warmth that the sun brought during the long greenleaf days, she looked aroudn curious with her bright green eyes, "wow ive never been out alone yet, it seems so much larger" admring the trees hight and length she sat down in the snow looking up.

Her ears twitched hearing something move near by, scenting the air she could tell it was a mouse. She turned and scanned the area, finding it about a fox-length away, she carefully moved into a crouch. She watched it nibble on some dead grass, she steped a bit closer but with the snow there is made a loud crunch, surprised the mouse begain to run, ivypaw leaped into the ai in atempt to catch it but she missed by a pawstep and the mouse darted away. "Mouse dung!" she cursed to herself,  and sat down to lick her paw, it stung and blood dripped a little bit, looking at it she could see a thorn sticking out. "ouch" she muttered to her self and made her way back to the camp "might as well get this looked at" her tail swished behind her.

Ill rp a mentor his name will be Shadowtail.

"Wisppaw, when you leap,make sure you extend your legs entirely." Shadowtail advised. Wisppaw nodded and did a perfect bound into the tree.
"great." He purred. Wisppaw smiled. Birdsong was heard through the trees
"Starling." Shadowtail murmured. Silently she climbed into the tree. The birds still twittered and sang. There were at least seven in the group, there were loud squawking and Wisppaw came back with six in her mouth.(is that god modding?) With jaws hurting she placed them in front of Shadowtail.
"Good catch, this will be a good meal, with those two mice you caught earlier, the clan will be fed for at least two entire days." with a smile Wisppaw went to dig up her catch.
"Please help me carry them." she asked Shadow tail with her small voice.
"No,No you should be the one to carry them back." The smile faded From Wisppaw but she still did as she was told. She placed them all in the fresh-kill pile. she picked up two, one for the med cat apprentice and one for The Medicine cat. she wasn't hungry. She stepped into the den and realized they were gone. She wandered around until she found Featherpaw.
"Are you hungry?" she asked and placed one by Featherpaw and Rosetail.

Ivypaw walking into the camp she had a slightlimp because of the thorn, but it was nothing that Rosetail and even featherpaw could handle. She looked around seraching for them with her leafgreen eyes, she saw wisppaw next to them with some fresh kill, her ears perked and she trotted ver to them. "Hey wisppaw" she  meowed in greating then turning to Rosetail "could you check my paw?" she asked then looking at the freshkill "though after your done eatting". She felt a bit bad making them check her paw when they could be eatting right now so she made sure that it was known there was no rush on it. She sat down and looked at Wisppaw "man with you as one of our hunters we wont ever go hungery" she smiled.

Rosetail bent her head and took a small bite of the piece of prey she was offered.  It still felt warm and fresh on her tongue.  "Nice catch Wisppaw."  Rosetail purred, glancing at Ivypaw and the thorn sticking out of her pad.  "Let's get that out before it gets infected."  She meowed, setting her teeth on the thorn and gently pulled it out.  "Featherpaw, fetch me some cobwebs."  She meowed, glancing at the small hole in Ivypaws' pad.

SnowFur sighs and gets up. She hated the cold. She enters the medicen cats den and mews for RoseTail if she was in the den "Hey, uh RoseTail can you look at this for me?" She keeps her injured paw from touching the ground as some blood trickled from her paw. The sharp and sort of large stone was still lodged in her paw.

Featherpaw rushed over and collected the cobwebs with a swipe of his paw. He hobbled back over and quickly gave half of them to Rosetail. Then turning around he looked at Snowfur. With a huff like a mother would make of a disappointing kitten, he snatched up her paw. He glared at the rock and started to lick around the stone, and then quickly pulled it out. It let a fresh batch of blood come out, but in soon stopped. He called over to Rosetail: "Rosetail, there was dirt on the stone. Should I put something into it, to make sure it won't get infected?" The meow was quick and rushed.

He began to gnaw at his injured paw It was begining to itch, he let out a small hiss of annoyance. "Rosetail? Is it possible that I can go out if I have another cat with me? I'm getting sick of being cooped up inside"

Wisppaw walked outside. A flash of cold met her face. she stepped back inside and slept for a while. she dreamed  of large rocks and tall oak trees.
This place seems so familiar she thought. suddenly a huge angry Tawny cat leaped out of a bush with a yowl.
"AAH!" she screamed but the cat ignored her and leaped to an object behind her. she looked behind herself and with a great shock that hit her in the chest like a rock, she realized it was her father underneath that cat.
"TawnyPelt!" shouted her father, StormRock. he swiped a paw and threw off the huge cat. The place seemed more familiar as the cat and her father continued to battle.
"DAD!" she screamed. His face turned in her direction but he didn't say anything. TawnyPelt took the advantage and pounced on him. Soon StormRock's gray fur was stained with blood. He reached with his mouth and bit TawnyPelt in the leg. he leaped back but staggered. TawnyPelt threw Wisppaw's father at a rock, he fell to the ground. in an instant Tawnypelt seized him by the neck and did away with him.
"Dad!" she screamed, and threw herself at Tawnypelt,even though she wasn't one to fight. she went through his belly and he vanished. she felt tears drip down her face. she pressed her head to his chest, he was cold. She knew  where she was, this was the place where her father had been murdered. After a war that had gone on, and Dawnclan had won, apparently another cat was unsatisfied with the outcome. Visions of their time together flashed in front of her. There was one where she had just been born,where she had caught her first kill and her first injury, he had helped her to the Medicine cat den.
There was a voice "Wisppaw."
"D-Dad?"
"Wisppaw, i will always love you." her father's body disappeared and she was left alone. She was only left with his fading voice.
"If you loved me, then why did you go on that hunting trip by yourself?!" she screamed
"Why didn't other cats come with you, Dad!?"
"WHY?!" she was hysterical, this was not like herself, usually quiet but strong, silent and staying in the shadows. she shook and looked around frantically.

LionCloud padded into the clearing the muscular golden tabby tom sat in the middle of camp patiently waitng to be sent out on the next patrol wheather it be hunting or border patrol he didnt mind he still had a few things he thought he might teach his apprentice Wisppaw. So he sat Camly whatching all the activity run through the camp and the cold wind batering at him.

Vergestar walked stiffly by the med-cat den. She hated seeing Frostpath like this. But, she knew it would be better in the end.

Rosetail glanced at Frostpath and meowed, "Yes, Ivypaw you can walk around with him near camp."  She looked back to Ivypaw and rubbed some herbs on her paw.  Then she set the cobwebs around her pad so they clung properly.  "Try to not mess with the bandage."  She mewed, giving her paw a small lick.  Rosetail padded up to Featherpaw and meowed, "Yes Featherpaw, that would be great."  She sat in her nest for a moment and took a silent breath in, then out.  So many patients in one day!

(lol really? i used to play on catspawisland my user was Ivystorm and i was best buds with Zerostar(zerosoul,nightstar01, lol ive known her since the first time CPI started) i was one of the first players to go on there about 2-3 years ago. But after a while i started high school and joined my high school color guard with no time i had to quit and eventally i seemed to grow out of it ^^ but when i go on there now there are noobs and the bug me, back when i first joined poses were FREE ! oh how i miss that any way im getting off topic here i hope you get accepted! :3 )

Frostpath stood up testing his paw " ready when you are" and without waiting for a reply he walk/limped out of the medicine cat's den and went to wait at the camp entrance, eager for his first time out since his injury.

Mossfoot's ear twitched at the sound of stirring. she padded to where Wisppaw was sleeping. Wisppaw winced in her sleep and seemed to be muttering "StormRock" in her sleep. moss foot lifted a paw and gently nudged her awake.

Tumbleclaw binked the sunlight out of his eyes as he padded into the camp, fresh squirrel in his jaws. He carefully placed it on the fresh-kill pile, choosing a vole for himself. He settled down in a sunny spot a few tail-lengths away, dust floating up around him, tickling his soft gray fur. He smiled, taking in the warmth, hoping for some cat to talk with.

Frostpath stretched, his fluffy tail curling over his back. He sat up straight and yawned. He pricked his ears, hearing sounds of which he identefied as whisppaw and Lioncloud. He shrugged, then walked into the forest, careful not to put to much weight onto his injured paw as he walked. Frostpath came to a small stream, with small fish darting through it, he curled his lip. These were'nt even big enough to catch, much less eat. He shrugged and after taking a few laps of water, then trotted off into the territory.

So first scratch the nose and or eyes of the badger.Then  back up as fast as you can to avoid the counter attack and keep reapeating the sequence." LionCloud huffed ou the last bit.

(Been busy gonna get started up again ^.^) Vergestar walked out into the lonely isolation of the forest, feeling quite restless. Her tail whipped back and forth anxious and excited. She didn't know why though. The she-cat began to pad across the forest  floor as she spotted a plump mouse. She crouched down and leaped, soon enough she succeeded.
