Title: Need help with- Making map

I need help with making map. In GIMP I make height map with greyscale and save it as .png
But when I open FH, map maker and write name of picture, it crashed. Why? What I can do with it?

One layer?
Even if it is,
right click the layer in the layers tab, and click Flatten,
then save/export it again.

Do you mean making your map bigger in-game?

The image should be 512x512, but if you want you can do 1024x1024 for more detail.
Then, in map maker, you can change the width of the map, which would change the overall size.

Post by: ~ Sniper ~ on December 26, 2012, 08:02:14 pm: I had that happen to me, so what I did was open up the Watermill, and edit that, then save it under a different name. Something else to do is open the file, and save it to another place, then just move it to the FH folder.
