Fog prevented you from seeing no more than two tail-lengths ahead of you. The rushing wind and rain chilled you to the bone. Your stomach rumbles for food. It seems as if the only thing living is the ravens cawing from overhead in the dense pine trees. Soon, you cannot take another step forward and collapse down onto your side, moaning. Soon after, you black out.
"He's awake, my Chieftain!" A voice hissed as you awoke from your collapse. You were laying on top of a flat rock, two other foxes staring down at you with beady eyes. Another gray one stalks up to you, the mark of the eagle encrusted on her face and muzzle.
"Finally," She sighed. "What is your name, traveler?"
"I'm [Your name her]." You stare up at her in shock.
"I see," Another voice called from the trees. Another young fox stepped forward, her clan walking in from behind. "The traveler belongs to us. He was found on Helios Territory."
"He was found by us!" One of the wolves next to you snaps. You stray back, taken that the older fox would challenge the threatening glare of the younger one. "He is rightfully-"
Her voice was cut of by a booming chuckle, "You have overlooked one thing miladies." A large male fox stepped out of the shadows with a demon gaze strapped right at you. "He is mine or Skotati will fight."
"Fargarri wants no bloodshed tonight, brother." The gray fox turns to look at the male.
"Oh yes there will be if you have that attitude." He smirked. The shrill cries, snarls, growls, and howls suddenly echo through the forest.
The gray fox's anger leaped out of her throat, "I never ordered that battle! You have no right to blame me!"
"But you were there," He hissed. "And now you, and Helios shall pay." Snarls erupted from the trees everywhere around the other two clans in the thick darkness. It seemed as if red eyes glowered at them through the trees preparing to jump and kill an already dead deer.
"Stop!" You let out a shrill caterwaul in the thin night air. "I will choose! Don't fight!" You plead.
You have just taken the burden of choice in your paws. Which clan shall you choose, and how long will it last?

History
Centuries past as the world of the Gods grew cold and silent. One creature, was made. Called the Iskumaras, they scattered and grew and grew in sizes and shapes and colors to fill the bleak world. Soon though, as the Iskumaras evolved, the grew to extinction as the other forms grew to the prey and other predators that roam the land now. But now. Somehow the Iskumaras have returned with the new name, the foxes. An alliance was formed between the siblings, Moon, Sun and Dark. They agreed to make clans formed in the time, with laws and consequences in the desperate attempt to keep the species alive. They followed the Ancient Greek Gods alike some other species of animals in the world. The Clans based themselves upon the Gods and followed their word. With that, the three clans became of Fagarri, the Moon, Helios, the Sun and Skotati, the Darkness. For decades the clans all lived in peace, until it striked of Skotati. Yes, they were the strongest clan at that moment, and they started the war against all of them. Helios blamed on Fagarri and vice versa, though it was Skotati who caused all the mischief in attempts to make the two clans destry themselves or at least make themselves weaker. Then, they would strike. But, things don't work out. Helios and Fagarri found out just in time and were able to fight back. They somehow came back winning and defeated Skotati, but now, the evil and dark clan rises yet again. Ruled now by a Chieftain named Renuke who has a never-ending grudge on both of Fagarri and Helios. He will stop at nothing to make their Chieftain's, Anyx and Cira fall to their knees begging him to stop. Will you save the clans against the future war? Or will the clans destroy themselves within and burn like their ancestors?
The Clans
All of the clan names are greek-based. As like Fagarri means "Moon"; Helios means "Sun"; And Skotati means "Darkness" in the Greek language.
In this Fox RP, the foxes of Edenwood follow the Greek Gods as their ancenstors and believe in them fully. Totems and colors represent who they are and their personality. (More explained in the "Ranks" Thread.) Skotati is the "evil" clan of the forest where as Helios and Fagarri are neutral persay, and fighting for their lives against the growing Skotati.
Helios are strong in battle and good-willed, yet they have a problem with arrogance at times. Led by Cira.
Fagarri are clever and fast, but they're not as big and sometimes think too much before doing what they must. Led by Anyx.
Skotati are strong, arrogant, and clever. Their weakness is being too loyal. Led by Renuke.
Maps
We are currently using a active public map called Edenwood for the time being. I am planning on making our own map but as for right now I am busy in other projects and cannot comply with that need yet.
RP Times/Summary
Currently, our RP time is 7 PM Eastern Coast on Mondays, Wednsdays, Thursdays and Sundays. We won't take an RP Summary until Sunday though.

Ceremonies
Birth - The kits will be shown to the clan and they Chieftains shall name them at the Ceremony. (Remember, the parents are the ones who actually name the kits)
Apprenticing - The kits that are old enough, walk to the Sun Pedstal with their Chieftains and a few others before recieving their totem, color, and getting apprenticed.
Adulthood - The Trainees will walk with the Chieftains and a few others to the Sun Pedstal before being made a full clan [Place fox's job here].
Retiring - When the old, move to the Elders'. This does not take place at the Sun Pedstal and happens in the regular den of the clan.
Death - The saddest moment. The fox's body will be buried and planted outside the clan's den. The Chieftain(s) will send them off with a few final words.

1. No powerplaying/superpowers/godmodding.
2. No gary sues/mary sues.
3. Literacy. It's ok with a short post every once in awhile. You'll get writers' block. >.>
4. If you are quitting or cannot continue with this RP, tell a MOD so we know what happened.
5. Please try and stay active. We'll only be on a few times a week. It shouldn't be too hard.
6. If fighting starts OOC, you will be warned once. If it starts again, you will be banned for 24 Hours.
7. Please respect the MODS and Admins. PLEASE. We are only trying to keep this a safe and fun RP. I dun want to get kicked off the Map by the Creator or something. O.O

9. Members will only be updated if that certain member has posted their application thinger on their clans' board. I'm not gonna go chasing people down.

12. If another map-goer is disrupting you while RPing, just ignore him/her and don't start some giant battle.

1. Kits are named when they're born. The Chieftains name them. (Though, the kit or parents get to actually choose)
2. Kits turn to Trainees at 6 Moons and will choose a job, then.
3. Trainees will have a mentor in whatever their job is.
4. Trainees will be made full [enter job title here] when their mentor and Chieftain approve.
5. Chieftains must be present for all ceremonies unless death is on their doorstep.
6. Warriors or Dolofomoses must have had trained at least one Trainee if they are to become a Sub.
7. One Sub shall take the Chieftain's spot when the die or retire unless the Chieftains bore kits.
8. Firstborn of the Chieftains kits will be next-in-line.
9. Chieftains are mates. (Obviously. xD)
10. Kits may not be cast out at all circumstances no matter what clan.
11. Ceremonies shall be held at the Sun Pedstal.
12. Mating from outside the clan is not permitted.
13. Elders must be respected. They have done their duty.
14. When foxes get to a certain age, they must retire to the Elders.
15. Always follow the Gods/Ancestors.
16. Foxes will recieve there totem and color when they are trainees.[/size]

Ranks
Chieftains - Leaders of the Clan. Must be present to all Ceremonies unless death is on their doorstep.
Subs - Chieftain's Second. Usually three close and trusted foxes of the Chieftains. One will rule next IF the Chieftains have no kits. (0 Spots Taken)
Warriors - They are the adult guards and hunters of the clan.
Dolofonoses - The Chieftain's "personal guards". They may only be told what to do by the Chieftain unless told otherwise. The also act as Assasins.
Iatros - Medics of the Clan.
Eirises - Messengers of the Clan. Usually three if not less. (0 Taken)
Trainees - The Trainees are the trainees of the clan. xD They are either training to be a Warrior, Iatros or Eirises unless they were appointed to being a Dolofonos at birth by the Chieftain's.
Mothers - Foxes nursing of expecting kits. They go back to their regular duties once their kits turn to Trainees.
Kits - The next generation of the Clan.
Elders - Retired foxes of the Clan. They have the right to be grumpy all the time.
Chieftain's Kits - Firstborn is next in line to become Chieftain. They train to become Warriors at first until the current Chieftain's step down.

Dragon - Rebellious, fiesty, arrogant at times.
Frog - Laid-back and calm.
Eagle - Mischievous, clever, fast and stubborn.
Elk - Willy and flighty.
Whale - Wise and calm.
Bear - Strong-willed and catious.
Serpent - Quiet and funny.
Bobcat - Sneaky and smart.
Raven - Loud-mouthed.
Wolf - Strong and stubborn.
Color also describe who you are and your personality. They may be whatever color you desire.

You're joining, eh? Excellent. Though just before you just jump in, you must fill out an application! There are a few ways of doing this though, and these are you options:
1) Sign up here with the format below this.
2) Go to the site and apply in the "Joining" Board under the Category "Introduction".
3) Catch us on the Map where we'll probably be messing around in General. xD
4) We also SOMETIMES advertise is Fluorite, but that will not be very much at all. You'll have better luck off of signing up here or on our forum.
