Title: Ground texture not showing up in game
Post by: blackdagger on September 18, 2012, 03:05:52 am
I made a new ground texture and I did everything right to make it so I put it on one of my maps and it showed up but when I went to go see it in game the texture was all black... It only shows up in map maker and not in game. All other ground textures are fine except for the one I made and want. I would love help!

Did you ONLY computer paint the ground or do other things with it and did you save it as a jpg or a png? If you saved it as a jpg and only made the texture and not do anything else, then it's either a weird glitch or something with your computer or your FeralHeart acting weird.

Well I saved it as a .jpg and I added it to the .material file that was in the folder

Try taking out out of the .material maybe that'll help.

A stupid question, but you did export the map, correct?

This might just be a computer thing.... A lot of computer have them. But if you haven't tested this yet, just take out the name of it in the material thing. If that doesn't work, it's just another computer thing.
