It's dark and cold. Your paws are achy as the start of winter is setting upon the land. A snap of a twig draws your attention, and you look up to see a silhouette with piercing blue eyes. A chill runs up your spine and your fur stands on end as you begin to back away from the figure. As it takes a step towards you, you run to the side and past the figure. Just as you feel the creature's teeth are about to grab your hind legs, it stops. Running a few more feet, you turn around to see the dark creature staring at you with anger in its eyes. You stare at the creature, a bit dumbfounded and out of breath. A light crunch of leaves announces a new individual and you turn your head from the dark beast to see a light colored tiger with bright, green eyes looking at you as if you are her cub. "Welcome to Celestial Lands... Would you like to stay for a little while?"

Good or Evil? Celestial Pride is good in nature, but that doesn't mean every member behaves or doesn't have some things in their past they would like to forget. We are a literate roleplay and an active one. If that means you can only reply to this thread on the weekends, that's fine but not touching your characters for week after week is not acceptable. I do not plan on having this rp on a map unless someone is willing to make one. I will explain the territory later.
? B a c k g r o u n d ?
This "pride" is actually a clan. It is built up of both canines and felines. This wasn't always the case, however. This pride was originally created by a lion and his pride who fought an enemy pack of hyenas, the Archon Pack. Through members leaving or gaining, the species have become varied in each to the point of becoming clans. The lion previously mentioned was named Kai and was born a ruler. He took over the pride when his father passed away and battled the Archon Pack. As time passed, lionesses would leave Celestial Pride to join the pack and, against his will, Kai was forced to let some hyenas enter his pride. This was only the beginning as tigers, wolves, and various other predators joined Celestial Pride and Archon Pack. The two are still in constant warfare for prey and territory, but the main difference is Celestial Pride's morals and that they would prefer not to have a fight while Archon is always looking to battle.
? C e l e s t i a l L a n d s ?
Celestial Lands is primarily grasslands and water. A waterfall and a pretty mild river run through the middle of the lands and densites are primarily located at the top of the waterfall. The leader makes it a rule that all members, besides those told otherwise, should be in their dens at night for safety purposes. Acacia trees are most commonly found in the territory along with a various assortment of flowers and rocks. No one is permitted to go to the borders alone. Even guards must have a buddy. This is due to enemies being prone to attacking anyone who roams even close to the border.
? P r i d e R u l e s ?
? Respect each other in the pride, especially those of high ranking. (This includes no harming each other.)
?We accept anyone of the canine or feline families. Meaning no mythical creatures or prey animals of any type.
?Borders are to be approached only with a buddy or a group. Those trying to interfere with the enemy will be punished accordingly.
?All members are responsible for the young. They are our future. Without them, we are nothing.
?Harming a member in any way will not be tolerated.
?Punishment is only given out by the leader(s). At this time, that leader is Eva.
?Mating must be kept within the pride. If a member's mate is not part of the pride, and the mate is either neutral or a rogue, the mate can be asked to join the pride and/or Eva's permission must be given. If the member's mate belongs to Archon Pack or and other enemy, the member will be asked to either leave their mate or leave the pride.
? R o l e p l a y R u l e s ?
?Be as active as you can. I know I personally cannot get on here every day but at least try and get on once a week unless you let me(Kasai) know otherwise.
?There is no limit to character amount, so long as you can keep them all active!
?No drama. That respect rule is followed out of character as well. Please do not disrespect each other.
?Please no "sparkle" anything. Neon colors are okay to a point or in good taste. If your character looks like a rainbow threw up on it, I probably won't accept it.
?No text talking. Lol lyk dis iz so ttly stoopid.... You get my point.
?Be at least semi-literate. A "fail post" of two sentences is okay once in awhile but constantly provides little for people to respond to.
?No power-playing, godmodding, or anything of the like. People like to be able to control their own players, so let them.
?Swearing is permitted, but do not abuse this privilege.
?Gore should be kept minimal. A crack of a bone is okay, but describing was veins/tendons/whatever snapped and how isn't really needed.

L e a d e r s
The leaders have the highest rank in the pride and will be mates. Should either of them die, the other shall stay in this rank until they die as well. When both leaders die, the heirs shall reign unless they are too young. If no heirs are born and the leader(s) hasn't chosen a successor, the advisor will take the role of leader unless challenged by another member of the pride. Must be mate of Eva to apply.
H e i r s
The heirs are the offspring of the leaders. They are to be treated like the other cubs, but are more protected than the others. Do not apply.
A d v i s o r s
This is also the second-in-command. They take over if the leaders are gone and the heirs aren't old enough or responsible enough to lead. They are usually put in charge of keeping watch over the heirs. Must be earned.
E l d e r s
These are the members of our pride who are the oldest and might have some physical problems that disable them from doing any other jobs in the pride. Their only job is to live out the rest of their lives in peace and to offer advice when needed.
G u a r d s
These are members skilled in fighting and will prowl our borders to make sure there is no danger lurking there. They will also protect the dens. *Difference between guards and warriors: Guards are more like the first line of defense against an attack. Personality: Cody is a sneaky and fast young rogue seems to be extremely curious. He has the habit of doing what he wants as he has not been trained how to behave as a youngling. He seems to joke around and make a little fun when not on duties. This fellow can be agressive at times, he may need to be pinned down at times by pack mates because of his behavior. But he actually can be loyal and trustworthy at times.
History: Cody as a pup grew up without parents or a clan. His mother died from a deadly sickness that was spread in the territory she was intruding and his father was killed as a great warrior at night by a enemy. Therefore Cody was a loner for around 7 months. Surprisingly he lived on, he was living in a harsh world, but since his father had taught him how to survive on his own before he had passed away, he so did. Cody had always wished to become something special, but he lost his hopes after he had become a loner and lost his richness. So his second thoughts was on hopefully become something that could stalk enemies and come with important messages to his rivals, face to face, eye to eye.

The young wolf flicked his ears restlessly for danger as he peeked out the corner of his eyes and to his surprise, spotting a little mouse. Cody raised his head again and looked up at the stunning and bright moon, which he had only now noticed was full moon. He blinked a couple of times as rain poured into his eyes, then took a better look at the mouse which was about to crawl onto him...

I think RPing here would be best, not only because of time zones but in-game can take hours to fully RP and if someone loses their connection or has to leave suddenly, they either get dropped from the RP or they miss replies. Plus, I'm slowing down in my old age XD and I don't type as fast as everyone else anymore, so it's takes me longer to post than most. Of course, if we're in-game and want to RP, I don't see any reason why we couldn't do that too lol.

She also has rejected all the males that has come to seek partnership with her, since she hasn't found anyone smart enough, and nice.
History: Ahri hasn't had that bad of a past, but he has been constantly annoyed by males, so she tries to avoid them if she could, but if the male is friendly and nice enough, she wont mind. She lost her parents when traveling through a small passage in the desert, having 2 tall cliff sides on either sides. She moved faster then them, going ahead all the time. She was quite young then, and didn't listen to her parents much. She didn't notice that she was going too far, and as she went on, she didn't hear their voice anymore. She looked back, starting to worry, but as she tried to move back where she came, she saw some mountain lions that were not too far from her, and they looked like they just had a nice meal, so they were slow. Ahri didn't quite realize it, but after a few seconds she realized and took off towards the exit, welling tears in her eyes, knowing she would have to continue on alone. Since then she has been wandering around and looking for a place to stay. She's still not quite sure what happened that day, but she fears the worst.

Ahri was having a nice stroll through a forest near a shore. She was on a big cliff, and it was quite a way down, but she saw that it was safe, no rocks or anything. Suddenly she scented someone not too far from her, hiding herself behind a tree, but recognizing the scent. 'It's that other fox again I met yesterday..why wont he already leave me alone?' She thought angrily and stepped out, moving towards the cliff. The male caught up soon with her and smiled at her slyly. Ahri pretended a smile back, and motioned for him to come towards her. The male did and he seemed quite happy, but as he neared Ahri, she pulled him towards her and stepped out of the way, the male flying over the cliff and into the water. Ahri giggled and yelled towards him. "Have a nice swim!"
(This is done at 5 Am, so I might have some mistakes here and there, and I've had a long pause in RPing, just today I decided to continue it, but I wanted to try something else, like getting a pack from forums, I hope this works x3. And it would be more pawsome if you would RP in-game too. :3, oh and if anyone recognizes Ahri from League of Legends, yeah, I took her from there, since I really like that champion. ^^)

From what I understand, the server had some issues because of registrations and had to be repaired. Now, I'm not sure why that happened or how often it will happen because all I did was read the post they had on DA and it wasn't very detailed.
I don't have a mic so I can't skype, but I DO have MSN Messenger if we want to do that.
Edit: -pokes DJ- I also play LoL every once in a while but I haven't played much since I got my internet back up and I'm WAY out of practice lol.

Heh, yeah~ I only use Skype for chatting anyways, I have a mic but I only use it with people I know Irl, maybe sometimes with REALLY good friends from over the internet, I'm a bit cautious, you know~ xD
And I never use MSN because that's like so last century, Skype is more compact, and I like it xD, I've it open every day.
Also you should start playing LoL again, the 3vs3 map is crazy xD, they updated it to...spiderness o.O xD, And there's quite a lot of new champions, I like Ahri though, and Warwick, and Darius. Ahri the most though x3

I've always used MSN but I'm old so it's familiar where skype would be new to me.
I saw that they updated the 3vs3 map the other day but I didn't have time to play. My mate and I usually play together and just join whatever group we can. He has friends that play too but I haven't really gotten to play with them yet. Right now, I'm just using Mordekaiser but I've got Sivir too and was decent when I played them about 2 years ago. I want to get Amumu and possibly Janna but I've never played her so I'm not sure yet. She's free to play this week so I may try her out.

As a cool winter breeze brushed over the land, a tigress was heading to her den. She scanned the pride members and realized they didn't have a single pregnant female in the group. At this point, this was a good thing with the rivalry. However, some cubs might be able to take everyone's mind off the danger at the edge of the borders. Her eyes wandered over to Obi, the head medic and the oldest of the group. The only reason he hadn't proclaimed himself as an elder was because of devotion to the job and his stubborn attitude. The wolf was currently organizing the medic den with more herbs. "Obi," she called gently, gaining the wolf's attention. "Could I talk to you?" Obi, dismissing his current job with some sarcastic comment under his breath, joined his leader in her den, which had space enough for four adults.
"Did you gather the information I asked from the new members?" Obi's eyes narrowed ever so slightly. "No. I was too busy doing my job," he growled slightly. The calm nature of the leader dropped briefly at the member's hostility. "Regardless, I ordered you to gather this information first. When I give you a direct order, you better follow it," she snarled. "You are an example to them and I can do without a disobedient member in the pride." With that said, she stalked out of her den with strong, swift movements. Climbing onto a nearby rock, she roared to gather the pride. As everyone began to approach, she announced, "We welcome our newest members and I'd like to have us introduce ourselves with names, ranks, and a little about yourself if you'd like. While everyone introduces themselves, I'd like you all to keep in mind that we will be hunting very often and I suggest you choose a hunting partner." Evangeline than proceeded to mention who she was and that she was the leader. She also gave her history, but it was basically the history of the pride. Obi was then forced to introduce himself. "I'm Obi. I'm your head healer. I had a pack before this, but they were idiots who were reckless and ended up getting killed faster than I could mend 'em. My advice? Don't be one of those idiots that I need to mend," he stated with a firm glare to a select few in the pride. Evangeline's eyes narrowed at the medic, but he didn't notice and they both waited for the rest of the members to introduce themselves.

((@Kasai: Hm yeah, you are quite right, but I just like to keep in touch with the people I RP with...I guess it's just me ^^; I've RP-ed for like 9 months, so I'm no stranger to it, I know about the brackets and most of the abbreviates (I've started to forget how to spell it..). Also sorry if I copy some of your ways and stuff if I like them, like coloring my text and whatnot, it's hard for me to get ideas, but if they come, they'll be great. I would use Navy color but it's just so hard to read from this pitch-black background.
@Buttons Lady: Yeah, I've started to like Warwick a lot, but I'm only in EU West and EU Nordic/East, I haven't made an user in the American server, since I'm from Europe, that's kinda obvious if you ask me xD. But yeah, Warwick has insane health regeneration and life steal, I could dive turrets like crazy xD, once when me(Warwick) and my friend(Brand) were on 5vs5, we had an insane team against us, like Tryn, Darius, and other op champs, so we played it cautious and totally dominated it xD, so yeah, that's an advice, never go too aggressive, which I do A LOT...Mkaaayy...I'll stop blabbering now. As soon as the pack's leader was done, she started looking around and thinking which one would be a good hunting partner. She wanted to make sure her partner was strong enough, not some weakling, because she doesn't want to lose her life over some stupid mistake, as she knew how dangerous the borders were of the new-found pack. She nearly got killed there already before she joined this pack. Ahri looked down as some memories were starting to come back to her, but she surpassed them and looked quickly back up as to make sure no-one saw her like that. She thought that no-one had seen her, so she went first in introducing herself. Ahri cleared her throat, stood up, turned towards the crowd and spoke. "I'm Ahri. My rank is warrior, if I may~ I also don't like if males get too near to me, so don't try anything if you don't want to lose something precious for you." She said, a creepy smile forming on her face and acting like it was nothing, sat down and resumed her original position waiting for others to continue.
((@Copper4me: Yeaaahh, it's a tad bit straight-foward, you should detail it a bit more and think it over, not shoot everything you come up with, gives good ideas, to me at-least. In text-RPs you can correct yourself a lot~ That's my advice, but everything is fine by me~))

Rook had been napping under a bush when a roaring call woke him with a start. He rolled to his back and tucked his tail before realizing there weren't any lions hovering over him. No, that was a tiger, his new leader, and she was calling the group together. He suppressed his hateful memories of puphood and snarled to himself. He'd been told this place was different, that the big cats and the canines could work together to achieve their goals and that they were equals. The dark wolf shook his pelt clear of debris and made his way to the gathering. He would have to make due with this place until he could figure out how to continue on his journey.
Rook glanced over the small group; the old wolf, the tiger... a fox? Ha! It was a fox, a pretty little she-fox, sitting obediently before the leader. Well, if he was going to be stuck here, he should at least try to make a friend or two. Rook sat about two steps behind and right of the fox. He leaned forward to speak but was quickly cut-off by the leader's announcement. No worries, he'd talk to her after the meeting. Obi spoke, was he looking at him? Nah... Which of the group would have the initiative to go first? The fox?! Of course she would! Rook felt a grin begin to form as she spoke but it quickly became a silent gasp when Ahri said "...don't try anything if you don't want to lose something precious..."
He stood, taking a step back as she sat in her original spot. Oh crap... he'd just volunteered to go next. Rook took a few steps into the open, trying to keep all the big cats in eyesight while still giving Ahri a wide berth, and fumbled as he spoke, "I'm Rook. I-I'm suppose to be a guard. I uh, came from the north-eastern lands, don't like to talk about that really. And... and I guess that's it." Public speaking was not his forte. He'd slowly lowered his head as he spoke and unknowingly tucked his tail again. He probably looked like a whipped puppy as he scooted past Ahri and sat several paces behind her, glaring at his paws and mumbled to himself, "Great first impression there, Rookster."

As Ahri finished, a wolf that she went past from, started his introduction, though it was a bit..well, nervous, for some reason. That somewhat didn't surprise Ahri, as she knew some males are like that, 'I guess I'm too pretty?' she thought to herself and chuckled a bit. Males like those were rare to see to her anyways, but they wont get anything done, too shy, and not quite her type.
After he was done, another wolf suddenly seemed to rush in, 'Another male? Are there any other females except me and the tigress?' she thought to herself a bit annoyed. The wolf that rushed in, seemed quite aloof and cool, and that grin looked kinda dumb, Ahri didn't like him at all from the first sight. 'Let's see...thinks he's an hot-shot, acts like he's the coolest guy on this forsaken planet, and cuts into every conversation. Exactly the type that I get a lot, I thought I'll be free of that when I join this pack..' she rolled her eyes and looked at the ginger-white wolf with an annoyed face. 'At-least he's not something the others are - trying to flirt with every girl they see, unless that's an hidden side...' She was now more annoyed, and just tried to surpass it, by looking towards the leader, and seeing the last wolf, and a leopard left for introduction.
((@Everyone: Ooh, Ahri's already angry, don't try to piss her off too much xD, she has been dealing with way too many males, so don't test her, for your charry's sake xD. Oh and I'm going to explain some things, I make thoughts green and like this: 'I think I'm going to stay near the dens today, I'm too tired to hunt at the moment.' and speeches lime green and like this: "Do you really want to know what happens? ((I was going to reply yesterday, but my hubby wasn't paying attention and my kiddo decided to take the open pack of chicken nugget sauce and use it to finger paint my mouse, keyboard, and monitor. He basically busted into the bathroom with the baby in hand, furious and snarling, and all I could do was laugh. I think she may have killed my keyboard (I'm on my mate's PC) but it was too funny at the time for me to be mad about it. Then we went to Boo at the Zoo which, in my opinion, wasn't worth $45 +food but was still enough fun that we may do it again next year without the all-inclusive arm bands. Guess I'll edit this and try to post real quick. Oh -random- I had a dream that I totally stole Brodylove's name. Why? I can't remember, but I did.))

Rook's head shot up as Eros strolled past and started his intro. From the little bit that they'd spoken, he knew Eros was born within the pride but he couldn't really remember much else. Despite his cocky personality, Eros seemed like a decent guy and the dark wolf was actually looking forward to patrolling and protecting the pride alongside him. No doubt, the two would make a formidable hunting team. Then again, Ahri would make an interesting hunting partner as well. Not as long-legged or possibly as swift, but she could easily fit where a wolf his size couldn't and that in itself makes her a worthy addition to the pride. Rook let his gaze drift up to the leader and medic. Was this the whole pride? He could have sworn there were others somewhere... a scout perhaps. Was the leader the only feline he'd have to deal with? He could only hope that was the case, but, as his mother always said, spotting prey and catching prey were two different things.

@Everyone: Sorry for me not posting for a bit, but I'm getting the remnants of Hurricane Sandy/Frankenstorm. I'm not on that east coast, but close to it. We got power knocked out on and off throughout the night and I got off school today because of it. It's freaking CRAZY outside. No trees near my house got knocked down, but neighbors had some trees knocked down and the city next to me is pulling people over for driving in this unless it's an emergency. Supposedly the wind should be dying down throughout the day (fingers crossed because tomorrow I get to go to school in my halloween costume if everything settles down!). So, yeah, weather is crazy and now I'm back for a bit =) ]

The leader and medic carefully listened to each speaker, determining their personalities and what they might shape out to be through this pride. The medic's eyes remained on Rook as the jumpy new guard introduced himself. Tripping over words and obviously lacking quite a deal of confidence, the young guard seemed to be an easy target for Archon, and the old wolf knew this. He memorized the wolf's face and name, knowing he would have to probably find him at some point at the edge of the border. The confidence the young guard lacked was soon found in Eros, who trotted over to the group and introduced himself to the new members. As Eros introduced himself, Obi looked over to Ahri, the only other female in the group besides Evangeline, who was also the lone feline in the group. Said leader now spoke to the group as introductions finished up. "We should start heading out if we want to be back before sundown. The entire land is pretty filled with prey, so feel free to head in any direction, but please stay within the borders. Venturing outside of them will subject you to danger quickly. Archon is very good at hiding and manipulation- do not underestimate them." With that said, she hopped down from her rock and was followed by the medic as her usual hunting partner. Once the pride actually got really acquainted the two would likely switch partners.
Despite the two's distant relationship, they did have a distinct understanding towards each other, especially when it came to what movement meant what. Eva's ear flicked and Obi's head quickly turned in her direction, spotting the same buck that she did. Eva glanced to the old wolf to see him show only a tooth or two in a show of determination. She wasn't sure if he realized this gesture but it always meant that, even if Eva changed her mind, he would get this prey. Both crouched low and circled opposite ways, both blending pretty well with the grass. They waited, watching each other for a sign until, finally, Eva's tail flicked in the air, a sign that she would be the first to approach. Slowly stalking towards the buck, she was spotted and she leaped on the running buck's back as it went towards a waiting Obi, who pulled it down by its neck. The two stood over their fallen prey and looked around, both knowing Archon would hear the cry of the buck since it was so close to the border. Sure enough, true to their greedy nature, a young male hyena appeared just at the edge of the border, only a few yards away. The hunting partners snarled at him, both protective over the land. Realizing he had been spotted, the hyena took off in the opposite direction. "Mark the land by the border and let's get going," Eva ordered, grabbing the buck by herself as she waited for Obi to return to help her carry it back. They had to grab the prey several times on the way back due to its weight, but they eventually returned to the middle of camp. The wolf abandoned it without a word to his leader, taking a drink from the nearby river. Eva stared at the wolf for awhile, knowing he was very adamant about hiding his past, but she knew if he would open up to someone, he might be less of a grouch and much easier to work with.However, as shown by how he stood and his rough exterior, he would never open up to anyone for quite awhile.
[I think we only have 3 active members right now, so if you guys want to team up as a group of 3, that's fine. I just wanted to get my hunting post out of the way because I don't see me having much time to post by tomorrow. =) ]

((@Shawky: I was referring to her but I figured a fox, despite being long-legged and female (the ideal mix for men lol), would still be considerably smaller than a wolf, which would make it easier for her to slip through thick brush and undergrowth while he would have to go around or try to go over it.))

((Not being on for a day or so isn't really inactive. I guess it's inactive if you're usually on here six or more times a day though lol. And I had my own breakdown. Turns out we're a bit short on funds this month but we checked and it's our own fault. $5 bucks here, $20 there... it all adds up and fast lol. Wasn't paying attention, thank god we opted out of overdraft coverage or I'd probably be paying all sorts of overdraft fees right now.))
((Edit: Seems my keyboard is dead. The whole left side is fried and the right side is like pushing multiple buttons at once. On screen keyboard is a nightmare!))

The dark wolf sat silently as his leader instructed them to hunt and avoid Archon members. He flicked an ear and looked at the medic... who seemed to be starring a hole through him. What had he done to deserve the old wolf's attention? Rook felt himself hunching his shoulders and corrected himself. In theory, no one would hurt him here but it would take time for that idea to settle in his fur and he was determined to hurry it along. He was tired of being alone, tired of traveling. He would finish his journey later, once he'd developed some defensive skills. Right now, he just wanted to belong.
As the leader and medic left, Rook pushed his past into the back of his mind once more and looked back and forth between Eros and Ahri. Who would he get to hunt with? Maybe he should hunt alone and let them go together. He stood and turned to leave, halting mid-stride before turning back to the others. His attention fell on Eros, "Want to hunt with me? Wait, would Evan be upset if we practiced some guard stuff along the way? I really haven't had any official training and I'm curious how I'll hold up against someone who's actually trained." The young wolf fell into a play-bow before bouncing around Eros, lightly trying to jab at him with his front paws as he circled. As he neared Ahri, Rook leaped high and twisted around to face her, stumbling slightly as he landed off-balance. "And we could do warrior stuff if you wanted to come too!" He beamed a smile at her and let his tail sway, falling into the same play-bow he had done with Eros. Both of his new comrades had seemed overly confident during their introductions. He silently hoped that would rub off on him.
