Title: Height Map Help?

Hey everyone. I need some help. I have a height map made, but every time I try to put it in a map, my game crashes. I have it in a scaleless PNG file, I've tried re-installing, and I've tried different formats, but I just can't get it to stop crashing. Help?

Your game crashes cause you do not follow those preferences mentioned.

First, make sure your using PhotoShop or GIMP.

Then make sure it is on Gray Scale, and it's 513 by 513.

And make sure you're only using gray colors. From black to white.

And you must start off with one gray shade. The whole picture must be one shade of gray, then you can add all your hills, mountains, rivers, valleys, etc.

I've done that. :? I don't know what's wrong, but I'll try redoing my whole height map and see if it works.

HOLY COW I GOT IT TO WORK! I made my file size too big.
