Just out of curiosity. On some forums about trolling, I found some claims that a majority of players are 11-20. I am just curious if that is true, and if so, upper half or lower half. I am surprised that this poll hasn't already been made.

I'm thinking somewhere in the region of 14-17 years. This is only a guess, though. Polls and statistics ought to be taken with a grain of salt because there are a ton of variables to take into consideration. There are probably quite a few FeralHearters who have been playing the game since it first started and rarely go on the forums, if at all. Those folks probably won't be voting in this poll, which takes away potential information on ages.

From what I've seen, it's about 10 - 19
(I've seen plenty of 10 year olds to be convinced with that)

I know. But it will maybe give us some idea. But like you mentioned, if they play and don't go to the forums, then that could really throw it off.

I think the majority of the community is somewhere around 12-19. Though, it's been shown that 12 year olds can act more mature than 17-19 year olds, something which can be rather amusing to see. x3

At least 10-20. The youngest person I came across was 8 years old. And so far the oldest player I met was 31 (or so he/she claimed). As I've been told, this game is for people of "all ages". Of course, many people would agree that this is more of a game for 13+

I'm turning 22 this year :3 I don't often see people my own age in game though.

I'm twenty, and a lot of the people I RP with ingame are around my age (assuming they're all being honest about it, of course), but I'd guess the average is around fifteen based on what I've seen.

My impression is that while this is a game intended for "all ages," only this narrow field is interested. I suppose it makes sense, highschoolers put up with so much, they need some way to express their pain. (Or maybe other issues, but that is my own personal bias. Sophomore in college, but HS still stings sometimes).

It's funny when a person claiming to be 27 years old can't spell to save their life, and is caps spamming about needing a mate in gen. Then they're completely dissed by a handful of 12-14 year olds.
I wonder what the average age for illiterate/semi-lit/literate players is. I'm 13.

I tend to find more people close to my age of 21 than anything. Then again I'm not sure I care about age as long as the are friendly and try their hardest at rp-ing. But I'd say 13-17 is the most popular age range.

I'm 21 but I notice most players seem to be around the ages of 13-20ish or at least upper elementary & high school age. I have to say though that I have been a bit shocked to meet some college age users here since I used to believe I was one of the few older fluffs on here. Some people are also soo mature that it's hard to tell their ages example: some of the mods. All in all the community seems to have a pretty varied age range so it's very interesting to see the interactions among younger and older individuals.

I think we can all agree that the age ranges widely from 13-22 years of age. I'm personally 13, just to put that out there. And I think the most easy way to tell the difference in ages is their grammar and spelling. :3

I don't really agree with that. I have many Japanese friends who are in their 20's and are very intellectual people but have terrible spelling lol There are alot of users on Feral Heart whose first language isn't English. There are also people like me who have very derpy keyboards and any friend of mine can tell you I make a ton of spelling errors due to it sometimes and that makes me sound illiterate lol.

nally, I don't give out my age online. My parents taught me well. But I have learned in my time here that age doesn't mark how literate or unliterate you are.

Yeah, I am a college sophomore, but my grammar varies depending on how tired I am. Usually, I don't try really hard to spell well, but I do try to make it at least legible. Depending on my character, I also change how much I care, primarily because some of my characters are really proper, and I want to spell the biggest (or at least most English sounding) words as well as possible. My more mutty characters I generally don't care so much.

I would say 10-19 years old because most of the people I met are 10 to 19 years old.

But aye, age on this game... I don't know. I've met some amazing 10 year olds, and I've met some rude and very inappropriate 20 year olds. All depends on who you're around, I suppose.

Most Feral Heart players I have run into are between the ages of 13 and 30. (Most however are usually 28 or under.)

I have come to think that most are between 14-19. I, how ever, am much older than most of the people playing and in the forums. Though, I don't look or act like it. I know there are some that are my age and older, but, its rare I run across someone.

I am 17 years old, I mainly roleplay with people my age... I have a hard time roleplaying with someone under 16 years old, I don't know why *-_-, but if the person can spell and is good at roleplaying.
Example:
Bad Roleplay
:grabs the stick and threw it at her.
Good roleplay:
Steahl grabbed the stick, he excitedly threw the stick towards (name here).
Of course that's kind of bad because it's one sentence... but whatever.
So age doesn't count it's mainly spelling, grammar and maturity on most parts xP

I would say the age group for the forums would usually be 13-20+, considering that most of the staff it 16 or older. I would guess the age majority for the game would maybe younger then 11 through 20+.

I have begun to notice that the vast majority of members in FH make up the 16 and below range in age. However, I myself am 20 years old and it has come to my understanding that more and more older aged adults are entering the world of Feral Heart. In addition to the other various statements from the previous posts, I would disagree to the statement relating to being able to assume that just because you are deemed a literate individual, does not mean that you are older in age. I have seen several highly intelligent ten to thirteen year olds completely blow you away with their role-plays and their all around mature behavior. All in all, I believe that the difference in ages for all FH members is a wonderful mix up.

I'd say the range is about... 10-18+.(19,20.) At least.
