Title: FeralHeart won't work for me! DX
Post by: Fell-Tucker on October 14, 2012, 01:39:15 pm
I will try to load FeralHeart up and then it will say "FeralHeart.exe has stopped working". It has been doing that for days, and it won't even get far enough to let me log in! What do I do?

Have you tried re-installing the game?

Re-install the game. You probably downloaded something that caused it to not work. Or the files got mixed into the wrong places. Just remove Feral Heart from your computer and re-download.

I have a stupid question XD Where is the FeralHeart download? I tried downloading the FeralHeart Game Setup and nothing happened. Same thing with the others.

First, you gotta uninstall your old version. But the downloads are at www.feral-heart.com (http://www.feral-heart.com) < this will take you to the home page. Scroll down to downloads.  Yes you do press the game setup, maybe try the torrent version. Then you can download the patch which is right underneath it, This should work. If you have any further questions just ask!

I may be able to help you with your problem, but I will need you to answer a couple questions...

Is this issue going on during game play or before entering the game?
Are you using this game on a mac?
How often does this problem happen?

If you are a mac user...

I suggest downloading Shell's new version on this thread:

Did you check your particles file? Go to C:/Feralheart/media/particles are there any files with a _0 after them? Delete those if there are and try again.

I tried the normal download and the torrent version but nothing at all would happen. I am not a Mac user. I was recently told by one of my friends in real life that also plays FH that the download was down??

The download can glitch a bit. Try this direct link: http://download.feral-heart.com/FHSetup.exe (http://download.feral-heart.com/FHSetup.exe)

What part of the map did you try to export? I've tried exporting a heightmap that wasn't created as a grayscale, and it crashed my FH.

Is it only crashing when you try to export the map?

Please do not post on old threads. If you're looking to help out users with the game or forum, please check threads with more recent dates in the Help Boards. If you're having an issue with the game, check the other Help threads to see if you can find a solution to your problem, and if not, you can create a new topic in the Help Boards, rather than posting on someone else's old, outdated thread.
