Title: Character Reset
Post by: JackobLoveu on October 19, 2012, 07:05:30 pm
What is a Character Reset?
You pretty much reset your character in-game. It'll cause you to spawn in Lonely Cave as if you've just created the character, unless you've set your home somewhere else.
It's a very helpful tool in case your character gets stuck in a map that has crashed/been shut down/is full, etc.

You can also reset your home button on there and afterwards press "Go Home", this is probably in case your character is stuck in a crashing map etc.
(I'm now finding this out so ya LOL)

Nice of you to put this up for those who don't know. Though maybe you could've put in the quotes from the original post someplace around it. xD And no worries, we all start off wondering 'what's this over here' and such.

I made a tutorial a while ago, showing exactly what the Character Reset does, and how to use it, for those who were confused about it like I once was.

I had to explain this to a few of my members and friends, and I thank you for sharing with those, that are new and clueless. We have all been there. I love that they added this to the forum though. It certainly makes things easier.

This is nothing like what I had in mind.
I thought it would get rid of all your characters in game!

Can't remember the first time that I learned Character reset did that. For some reason, I just kinda thought everyone knew xD Then I had to go around and explain what it was to some folks -- I suppose I get over my own head!
