I tried downloading some of the new items off of the forums, and i did everything exact, but it's still not showing up in the game, and the "Santa hat" is gone. I need some help here. Heh. :)

Which of the item packs did you download? Ringo and Delay's? TEC?
Are you sure you followed the read.me file from step 1?
If you did, they should be showing up.

Explain where you put the files. All of the files need to go in your 'items' folder but you put items.cfg into your FeralHeart folder.

Well yeah, I did just that Alaskan, but they still aren't showing up. After i put the items.cfg in the FH folder, the Christmas hat had come back, but i deleted all of the existing items in the "items" folder, so at that point it had gone again. I was expecting for that to happen, just not quite sure. Now i just need help getting the hat and a few other things back. Did you remember to replace the files in the item folder?
Something must've gone wrong in the progress, which item pack did you use? - as I didn't get a reply to that earlier. ^^

First off try not to piggy back on someone elses post just look around for another post thats been solved with your same question or just create a brand new post that way it will get more attention and help :)
Some help not only for Amber but also you Eleven:
If there was a "read me" file in the download make sure you followed the steps on it.
If not you both can try refering to this tutorial for help on how to properly install item packs:

Also always remember to restart the game if you had it open while downloading & installing any new mod(s)
If after you do all this it still doesn't work I recommend just cleaning out the coding in your current items.cfg file in your main Feral Heart folder and replacing it with the default coding & following the tutorials steps again. I believe this is the default coding:
