Title: Something peculiar (Problem solved)
Post by: SteampunkWolfdog on October 30, 2012, 09:50:57 pm
So, I've been making a map and got round to nearly finishing it today. So I decided to check the map ingame to see that everything was doing what it should be, but it seemed I had some objects missing...quite a few actually.
I had made like a 'staircase', similar to the thing on Ascension Island that you have to climb up to get to the top of this tower, but the objects that were used as the steps were missing.
Anyone know why that is?  :-\

Did you try putting the objects into their own groups? I'm not much of a map maker but I've heard that if they are custom objects you have to make them their own object groups.

I'm not sure if they were custom objects. I just used a mesh that was already there and added a collision to it.

Well maybe you can also try cleaning out your replicated export object files in the folder and maybe reexporting. Again I'm not a map maker but I hope that helps. If I find any other helpful info I shall link you.

It's fixed! Not sure how though XD I tried to export the map again, but that wasn't working, so I restarted FH, exported it again and voila!
Bloody technology XD
