Title: having problems with gimp height map

i was making a height map using gimp. i finished doing the grayscale and terrain mask, but when i try to save the files, it won't let me save it as Seria.png, it only lets me save it as Seria.xcf... help? ???

In order to save it as a .png you have to go to File>Export
Not File>Save.
